Their eyesight is poor so they rely on foraging along the bottom to find movement with their long whiskers. To find stealthier prey they have the rare ability to smell underwater. Whenever I see pictures of mice on their hind legs, shit like Redwall just seems so plausible to me. Like look at this little fellows and tell me you don’t believe they could just be pretending to be wild animals around us whenever they actually have a very advanced society full of weapons and gadgets and art.
