I Agree, I Like Their Friendship And I Don't Ship Giyu With Anyone In The Show.
I agree, I like their friendship and I don't ship Giyu with anyone in the show.
Although I do want to know who Giyu ended up with and how.
I just basically want to see more of the characters after their battle with Muzan.
Am i the only person who doesnāt ship Giyuu and Shinobu??
Like i see them as friends but i canāt imagine them as anything more

Iām getting kinda annoyed how they keep not addressing the growing power imbalance between Ladybug and Chat Noir, setting aside Personal feelings, Ladybug is now in charge of the miraculous and the duo but has been making unilateral decisions that effect both of them and has been growing more and more liberal with making decisions for people, trying to take Chat Noirās identity in ephemeral without his consent being the most egregious example. I understand why she does this and the narrative always makes it clear that she does these for a reason but they refuse to address it head on.
Chat Noir is not being treated as a partner that heās called his consent and agreement assumed instead of acquired. This isnāt just a personal issue and even with minor things like retrieving the miraculous Ladybugās automatic response in to keep Chat out of it even when itās inconvenient to do so like when she snapped at him when he offered to collect the Miraculous.
Obviously the best time to address this is the season finale but itās worrying that so far this has been subtext instead of being talked about. Heās being treated as a employee instead of partner.
This is not Ladybug salt by the by while ill conceived Marinetteās actions are always shown to come from a reasonable place.
Yeah, this is one of the main points of contention I've seen about Kuro Neko so far. Not what it's done, but what it DIDN'T do. It addressed the whole "Chat Noir feeling left out and shunted aside" issue, and showed that Ladybug DOES care about his feelings, though she has trouble grasping his mindset. But it didn't really address the inequality between them, or all the secrets Ladybug's been keeping, or like you said, the whole consent issue. (Still trying to figure out why she was so snappy with Chat Noir about him retrieving some of the Miraculous...)
I guess a lot of it comes down to whether this is the start of the healing process for Ladynoir, or the end of it. If this is the end of it, then yeah, it's really not enough as it doesn't address a lot of the core incidents that led to relations breaking down between them in the first place. It addresses some of Adrien's deep emotional concerns - not being wanted or needed - but not the incidents that led to him feeling like he isn't wanted or needed anymore, or even trusted at all (beyond Ladybug just being able to call on heroes to fill in for him). There's a fear that'll be like Hack-san, in that the secrets will be smoothed over just by Ladybug affirming that she cares for Chat, without there being any actual change in their dynamic - something that helped in the moment, but we saw how well that held up, with Rocketear taking place next episode.
If it's the BEGINNING of healing the Ladynoir Conflict, I think that it works. It deals with the biggest emotional hurdles between them, some of the core conflicts, so hopefully they can actually talk things out later. But that will depend on whether there IS a "later".
I'm enjoying Kuro Neko right now, especially with Marinette finding out that Chat IS badly affected by things, and showing that she does care about Chat's feelings and wants HIM, not just a Black Cat Holder - he's her friend. Plus, Adrien got some development and went through some self-discovery about who HE is, about his identity crisis. But there does need to be more than that, and a fundamental shift in the way their partnership functions, to bring it back to something a little more equitable. Chat Noir being kept in the loop at least.
Well, In my opinion Adrien didn't let go of his offer because Ladybug is turning down his help with an objective WRONG reasoning to end their conversation:
Chat Noir: I can give you a paw to save time
Ladybug:Thanks kitty, but this is the guardians job.
Since when? Since when has it only ever been the guardians job to retrieve the miraculous? Ladybug has been giving out and taking back all kinds of Miraculous in s2-s3 and back then she wasn't a guardian. I'm sorry to tell you but the strict rule she gave him right away as her first reasoning for why he can't help is objectively WRONG.
And it is THIS objective wrongness of the rule she is using against him here that Adrien reacts to. And once again, sorry, but he does so VERY well:
Chat Noir:but I know who some of them are remember? I was with you when you gave out their Miraculous.
Adrien has every right to point it out to Ladybug that the reasoning she just gave him here really holds no actual solid ground. Especially when he is doing it so nicely. He DOES know some of the identities and Ladybug had him give out a Miraculous before (to ChloƩ of course, the person Ladybug doesn't like what a coincidence). This sudden rule of "Only the guardian can retrieve the miraculous" is coming out of nowhere and it simply straight up comes across as if Ladybug just made up that rule right on spot to blow him off. You can now write 7 essays about what Marinettes thoughts were here and why you think she is right, but it doesn't change the fact that when Chat Noir offered his help the first thing Marinette did instinctively is trying to shut him down with a sudden new rule that hasn't been in place back when SHE benefited of it.
I don't believe that was her intention but that's what's coming across through her words. She isn't saying "No Chat, I would rather get them myself so the miraculous are quicker in safety through my yo-yo" she is just stating some new rule that cuts him out further.
Ladybug: You dont know where to meet them and I don't have the time-
THIS is a reason I can get behind. This has a solid logic in it where I understand that even though Ladybug absolutely COULD have had quickly given Chat Noir the locations through their messages, the time was short enough because of her beeping Miraculous that I understand why she didn't think that was really an option. If she had given THIS as a reasoning right from the get go for why Chat Noir can't help retrieving the Miraculous then this little argument would have looked differently from my perspective. But she didn't. She pulled the guardian card.
Because when she said this AFTER suddenly pulling the guardian card with an unreasonable rule, Adrien is not remaining on the side of reason either:
Chat Noir: playing cat and mouse is my forte, you know
Only Chat Noir giving her a legit and sound counter to her suddenly claiming "it's the guardians job" by pointing out that HE knows identities too, so that shouldn't be the problem, made her give him a proper reason.
Ladybug:You dont know where to meet them and I don't have the time-
But, from Adriens point of view, here again she is grasping for the next excuse to blow him off instead of telling him anything he can actually work with. She isn't meeting his offer with an explanation of "Huh, maybe you can help me. I will get the Miraculous and think about it then I come back to you and we can talk alright?" or anything like this. She's just saying "no" and from the different degrees of actual LEGITIMACY for reasonings added to that "No" its seems for Adrien as if Ladybug isn't basing that "No" on any kind secret identitiy logic, she just doesn't want him there right now.
I wanted to write more to this but I can't right now. Well I hope with the actual context of how the episode starts and gets to this point Marinettes reaction here, and Adriens reasoning for not coming to the battles, will put this in a new light.
might be a hot take butĀ āmarinette/ladybugās actions hurt adrien and she could/should learn to be more gentleā andĀ āmarinette dupain-cheng has been tossed an incredibly stressful and heavy role without any choice in the matter and no means of getting out of it (without losing all of her memories and passing the responsibility and burden on to someone else) and is doing the best she can to make what she, a fourteen-year-old with no current guidance, believes are the best decisions for the teamā are two truths that coexist
