The funniest thing about ml for me is how Adrien is a model beloved by many but he's like "pfft nah, this girl I'm friends with isn't in love with me" meanwhile as Chat Noir he's like "I'm the sexiest bitch in France, ofc Marinette and Alya have fallen in love with me"

The funniest plot twist would be if Adrien just sits in his room one day and is like “Holy shit I want to be in the fashion industry but just not as a model.” We spent so long thinking his father would be pissed in his career choice. Like have you seen the state of ao3 and wattpad? We’ve been doing these dramatic future fanfictions for years about how he would brake off and do his own thing. And we’d pick these generic ass jobs that would bore the Chat Noir out of him in canon for it, like a physics teacher or professor. I would pay good money for Adrien to fight for freedom just to find out he would’ve got it easily if he just figured out his life a little quicker

I need someone to defend the "Adrien is NOT a sentimonster theory in light of this evidence and PLEASE tag me in it.

I don't even agree with how astruc explained some stuff, that doesn't make that whole lot of sense and could be refuted with what has been shown on the show or specials.

His insistence on the plausibility of the pro-senti theory (at least the mechanics of ot based on the people's questions) kind of scares me. I know he probably wants to defend and correct the specifics of certain points in the show with what he and crew intended and with how they are operating the rules (sorry it sounds confusing but I hope I'm understood).

I really hate the idea of Adrien being a sentimonster.

So….I missed some tweets from Astruc’s sentimonster thread that might alleviate the discourse I keep seeing;

Question regarding whether or not sentimonsters could reproduce thead:

Regarding the ability to sense a sentimonster—the peacock wielder can only sense an amok (the object used to control), not the sentimonster itself (i.e. Nathalie/Gabriel wouldn’t be able to sense Chat/Adrien is a sentimonster under their control).

Additionally, he has frequently referred to Adrien being perfect in the past, so this response parallels that/the situation with Marinette.
