Predictions: Ladybug is tasked with finding out who Chat Noir is, which is why Adrien reveals his identity. Ladybug won’t react very well, bumbling crush and all, which Chat also won’t interpret very well for obvious reasons. Adrien, now feeling isolated, will come across his dad’s shenanigans and not have as much mental resolve to fight off being akumatized, like he did in Chat Blanc.

Ok wait take back what I said bc how great would it be if THIS scene:

Isnt actually brought up until the END of the episode, and it’s not necessarily ladybug figuring out his identity but more so her falling in love with him like she did with Adrien and then the episode ends there and it’s not reversed 🤡

Anyway the only really strong theory I have about Ephemeral is that it's going to give Adrien as much reason not to want a reveal as Marinette has. I don't think that it'll remove a source of conflict, but I think it's going to completely reroute that conflict from being caused by Adrien's trauma (abandonment issues, etc) clashing with Marinette's trauma (PTSD from Chat Blanc). Instead, the conflict will be that they are both fundamentally terrified of the reveal -- at least until Hawk Moth is out of the picture, which doesn't seem as though it's going to happen for a long time.

*includes ramble on my justification for why I thought this was Felix

This whole time I kept thinking about how this must be Felix somehow in possession of the black cat miraculous and I went about justifying it by noting how the little details on his costume sort of parallel (not even that, they just look similar) Cat Noir's costume and how it initially resembles it but upon closer inspection it doesn't. The bodice looks like a more "upper class" design compared to CN as felix's has "buttons" and resembles something like mid-18th century upperclassmen jackets and that the belt for the tail is similar to CN but looks more "neater" I guess? This goes along with the overall design of the character too. Cat Noir's costume didn't look unrefined or sloppy, or too overly embellished or anything like that (apart from the messy hair to hide the ears), but compared to "Felix's" costume, Felix's just looks different yet similar enough as to why I drew my theory around this character model being for Felix somehow.

BUT YOU ARE TELLING ME THERE IS A CHANCE THIS COULD BE A CHARACTER MODEL FOR

ADRIEN'S SON?!?

I still hold onto my theory that this is Felix in some way, he is immediately who I thought of first.

Guys it literally says “Chat Noir’s Son” on the middle left there why are we arguing about this
