I tried searching for a couple of text posts from a couple of months ago (all literally like from April or May) that I wanted to save now that I have an account, but so far, after a LONG time (started looking for them in early June), I was able to find only one of them.

I've tried looking for the other posts through various methods, both on tumblr and off it, yet I still can't find them.

I do not know if those posts can even show up in the tumblr search engine now because of their age.

How I went about trying to find the posts was putting in the appropriate tags that the post was most probable to be under and scrolling as far back as I can (under top and text) and checking the timestamps of some posts along the way to see if I had scrolled back too far. I would also find a blog that was somewhat dedicated to theories and analyses and search for the posts I wanted their blog to see if they had either authored the post or reblogged it. This is how I found one of the posts I was looking for.

Sometimes when I tried to search through tags and scroll back far, I was not allowed to scroll past a certain point (even though I know that tag had been used for years and still had a lot more posts on it).

Just please fix this tumblr.

Fix what I mentioned in the last paragraph of my post and allow us to use the search engine to be able to simultaneously search with tags and search about the text written on the actual post!

Also, give us a free, optional feature (that can be turned on and off) that allows us to be able to use the search engine to search for text found within a post!

I know it can already be done on someone's blog, but please try to make a feature that would work in a general search.

Its so annoying I hate how some do this and go against what has been established in the show and justs makes for confusion. I 100% agree with @chatblancismyfursona on this one.

For anyone confused regarding the cataclysm that hit Adrien;

If Emilie kicked the bucket, he could still survive—Adrien’s life isn’t contingent on hers.

Adrien has been locked up in his home for nearly his whole life where all the decisions have been made for him!

You don't think maybe he wants to go out and explore the world, do something, work at something for himself? To be OUT THERE, working/helping/doing good?

He already enjoys going out and helping people as cat noir, plus we know that he has a natural instinct to help others so I don't believe he'd be content just sitting around while others are in need.

I hate when people do this, believing Marinette should become the breadwinner of the family and Adrien the househusband simply for the sake of inverting gender tropes.

Both characters have been shown to want to be out in the world, one of the things they have in common is that they're not going to sit around or run away when there is danger.

miraculous needs to stop telling us how adrienette are made for each other without developing them and they need to stop telling us through ladybug how chat actually matters blah blah blah and then never actually show him being important

I’ve said this before, but I hate the “Adrien is a Sentimonster” theory. I absolutely hate it. It doesn’t do anything except make the story worse and send a really fucked up message about Adrien’s character actually.

On the surface, I get the shock factor behind the show revealing him to be a secret sentimonster, but that’s where all the appeal of that idea ends and then immediately burns into a dumpster fire.

Adrien’s whole story is centered around his autonomy and how it’s something he isn’t ever allowed to have unless he goes against the wishes of everyone around him.

Making him a sentimonster is revealing that “no, he actually never had it to begin with, and the idea that autonomy is something he could ever really have is flawed because anyone with the peacock miraculous regardless of who has it could potentially very easily just take it all away from him in an instant, and there’s not a damn thing he can do about it.”

I think that’s kinda fucked up actually, why would someone want that?

No because I know episode 5 is technically filler, I hope its not "useless filler" and actually contributes something to the series, like world development, some kind of character development, or maybe a message that needs to be told or something.

Hopefully we see some of the effects of Umbrella scene 2 on Marinette and Adrien because that scene felt a little underwhelming, especially after seeing everyone losing their minds over it on the internet.

I know that the Umbrella Scene 2 was supposed to mainly showcase how Marinette was taking Alya's advice (I think the theme of ep 4), listening to Kagami, show the friendship of Adrienette, as well subtly show the control Gabriel still has over Adrien (all of these which are very good points), considering what we have seen throughout Mr Pigeon 72, and how the fandom lost their minds in regards to seeing U.S.2 as romantic Adrienette development, I just don't really see why umbrella scene 2 was so significant in regards to romantic Adrienette development and felt the payoff for it at the end of the episode sort of lacked in that area.

Like I said earlier, I want to see some effects of Umbrella Scene 2 in Psychocomedian, whether it be platonic or romantic, though I hope its mostly platonic with some romance between Marinette and Adrien.

And expanding further, it would be cool to see the effects of the Umbrella Scene 2 on them individually, it doesn't really have to relate all that much to the other idk.

I know I have rambled but I tried to explain my feelings on this matter.

I also want to see Psychocomedian before the final episodes air because I am afraid it would hold no importance at all to the season

If you think Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste are going to date post reveal, you’re wrong.

Clearly, they will date in their civilian identities when Adrien tries to move on from Ladybug, but Marinette will break it off because she discovers she loves Chat.

Then, ladybug will confess to a heartbroken chat noir and they will date as superheroes, which Chat will break off because he still loves Marinette.

THEN, Chat and Mari won’t date eachother because that whole superhero and civilian thing won’t work out. And then Mari and Adrien find that they also still love their old crushes.

Chaos ensues. It’s ridiculous, utterly ridiculous. And until they reach this point, the reveal won’t happen. As this is when they love both sides of eachother and this is where the writing will peak.

Mari and Adrien will be a mess in trying to decide. And the reveal will wrap it up in a nice little bow :)

I like what you have to say and I'd like to include my thoughts on Felix Chat Noir.

Actual question for y’all: is there any official confirmation that the leaked Catwalker concept art is for the villain of episode 23, Kuro Neko, whose name was changed? Or is that an assumption made by unofficial sources spreading the art around? And is there any confirmation that the character will appear in episode 23?

My first thought upon seeing this was “Felix”. Like he took the miraculous from whoever had it last and used it himself. My first reaction to the name “Catwalker” was like “skinwalker” which reminded me of the evil impostor act Felix pulled in season three, but then I realized that that was pretty dumb since that’s probably not what “Catwalker” is a play on. Plus, if Felix kept going with the impostor thing, why not make himself look more like Chat Noir? I get changing the design so that young viewers aren’t confused but the characters are due to in-universe magic, but I don’t think that’s what’s happening here. What does support it being Felix is that he’s supposed to appear in three episodes this season, all three of which we’re yet to see, and when this art (censor-blurred) was leaked in Lindalee Rose’s video, most people jumped to Cat!Felix.

My second thought: whoever this is is trying way too hard to look like Adrien.

I think my favorite theory, true or not, is that this is literally just Adrien again. For some reason, he loses his miraculous. Gabriel gets it in Ephemeral, but maybe Ladybug gets it back without permanently learning Chat’s identity, and needs to choose a new cat in an emergency, so she chooses Adrien. Maybe she does it because of her crush, or maybe Luka’s trying to lowkey push her, but Adrien thinks he can’t reveal himself, so he redesigns his hero persona. This leads to him having his bangs cut a lot more like his civilian self, and his name, Catwalker, being a pun on his modeling job. He chooses surface level traits that Ladybug would know about the famous Adrien Agreste to hide that he’s actually Chat Noir. My doubt here is that the pose of that 2D concept art is different from both his Adrien concept art pose and his Chat one. The concept artists typically reuse bases for the same characters, and I don’t recognize this one, although I haven’t seen many characters’ art.

There’s a popular theory going around that this is the “new visitor from the future” Winny mentioned once, and that he’s one of the future Adrienette boys. That theory is pretty cute and interesting, but this character’s face looks exactly like Adrien/Felix’s, and the character designers are pretty good at not making kids clones of their parents. Plus, if Adrien doesn’t want anything to do with modeling when he grows up, what would make his kid be “Catwalker”? I’m pretty curious about the visitor, but I’m not sure this is it. I don’t think this is future Adrien either, because he looks young and, once again, is trying very hard to resemble surface-level present Adrien.

I’m not giving up on the sentimonster idea because the Zag influencers have said time and time again that Kuro Neko is the villain of the episode, just like every other “name” episode title in the show. If Catwalker really did get changed to Kuro Neko, he’d have to be evil, excluding the future-son-coming-to-help-theory or him being Adrien, unless Gabriel gave him the miraculous he stole and is forcing him to follow his evil plan.

This, or Cat!Felix, would be really interesting imo, and I’d love to see some angst and big brain plays. But as many have asked, why the Japanese name? This guy seems to be white, and there’s no component of Catwalker’s design that references anything Japanese.

What do have Japanese names are Mayura’s sentis this season. Optigami and Hack-San were both pretty smart plans, all thanks to her. My headcanon is that she’s been taking Japanese on Duolingo while on bed rest lmao. What also ties into Japanese culture is this character who was spoiled in a Miraculous World video, which reminds many people of a Japanese lucky cat figurine.

I’m pretty intrigued by the spoiled models all around, and I love reading everyone’s ideas. Lmk if anyone would like analysis posts about any of the other leaks, but right now I mostly want to know what information has been officially confirmed about them and what is just conjecture. I know that’s pretty hard to place when these spoilers were leaked illegally and Zag wants to cover them up, but if anyone knows, please let me know.

Edit in conclusion: to be clear, the theory I’m leaning towards the most as of right now, (being true based on what we know, not what I want to happen) is that Catwalker is Felix pretending to be Adrien using the cat miraculous. The concept art pose is what throws me off of the “Adrien using the cat miraculous but pretending not to be Chat” theory the most, as much as I like it, and the character having Adrien/Felix’s exact face plus the model pun name is what throws me off the “future son” theory.

It’s interesting how Glaciator 2.0 again showed that there is a big wall between Adrinette at the moment, caused by the fact that Marinette is too caught up in her own crush to really see Adrien for who he is.

Specifically, her reaction to seeing Adrien be sad is more “awesome, I can enact my plan!” than sympathy. And when her plan goes wrong because she picked the wrong gift, she never pauses to notice that Adrien was really happy to get a pottery wheel from her, even if it was unusual.

The frustrating (and fun!) thing is that it was all so close to working. It already did work, back in Gamer, when she gave him her lucky charm! If Marinette hadn’t been so caught up in her fantasy, if she had looked at the actual Adrien and his actual feelings, she could have absolutely made his day here. In fact, she did end up cheering him up immeasurably when he was wearing black and she had stopped with all the schemes and was just herself.

This matches e.g. Malediktator. Marinette was so focused on the fact that Adrien looked hot in the ad to see how it was distressing him. Her crush is in the way of her actually seeing him.

Even though it’s popular, I would not describe that as her putting him on a pedestal. She is not in love with the model and the image (at least not just); she is aware that he’s a real human boy who sometimes feels sad and frustrated. However, she is too much in her own headspace to really see what’s happening with him. And that is, in various shapes and forms, the defining factor in the Adrinette relationship right now.

Chat Noir uses humour (flirting, puns: ie: ladynoir banter) to deflect from talking about sacrificing himself and i have a feeling that's only going to progress during the rest of the season.

since he does it in Guiltrip (EP 11) as well after his suicide attempt.

It was already established for them that the bubbles could be destroyed with their weapons far before he got touched by any of them, so why on earth would he active his cataclysm to use on one bubble. all that'd do is set off his detransformation timer and they already knew the bubbles were regenerating through the walls. it'd just be frankly dumb of him to active his power to destroy even a handful of the bubbles.

it averts the conversation and it's easier for him to put on his clown mask and make her laugh than talk about his frankly suicidal tendencies.

(It was just earlier this day the Truth confession happened, he knows she appreciates his humor and clowning around.)

he did it in Lies after sacrificing himself. She's distraught afterwards, and before anyone's like well the suit protects them he wasn't that hurt y'all are just overreacting,, it doesn't protect them against just plain fucking gravity ????. He scaled up this building

and then went up farther on his baton before free falling down. the moment he passed through the dome he was paralyzed like the others, meaning that there was literally nothing, not even his hands, to catch him.

He either died on impact or he was stuck lying there in excruciating pain from the broken bones he'd have from hitting the ground at that speed.

and she's rightfully upset, she's scared and distraught and mad.

and he makes a flirty comment and diverts the conversation like he always does.

and what's she going to do? yell at him? tell him not to divert the conversation? and then what? they both know there isn't anything they can do to prevent this from happening and they both know it'll happen in the future. Where it be intentional or not, Chat's the more expendable one, he doesn't have the cure. Sometimes it's either him or Ladybug, and they both know he'll never let it be Ladybug.

He's putting her first emotionally, he doesn't want to cause her more stress than she's already under, and telling her idk how much pain he was in while stuck there paralyzed isn't gonna help. arguing with her about this, something they both know can't change, is just going to make things tense and uncomfortable.

He doesn't want to argue with her during the rare moments they have together.

He's said it before, and I think this episode made it clear with the BTS moments of his daily life as Adrien, the time he's got with her is the most fun he has outside of school. The only fun he has outside of school/schoolmates.

And he barely sees her anymore, she regularly misses their scheduled patrols and while he doesn't blame her for it, he's understanding of her role as the guardian and the stress that's come with it. But that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt, it doesn't mean it isn't a harsh reminder of a constant thing he deals with, being alone. It doesn't mean that it doesn't suck that the one positive thing he'd been getting through the day for, through the interviews, photoshoots and everything, and she didn't show up.

and she's visibly struggling emotionally throughout the first three episodes, he knows that and tries to be there for her, but doesn't want their time together to be wasted talking about him and this issue. He doesn't want to be another thing that's stressing her out, beyond the inevitable sacrifice that they both know sometimes is unavoidable. (Gamer 2.0, Timebreaker, Dark Cupid, esc.)

And I don't take her smiling as a "aw the writers are dumb and gross men and don't know how to write characters and here's my two cents on the ooc dynamic i've talked myself into believing is canon"

I take it as her accepting that there isn't anything they can do rn, and at least he's okay. He's joking and flirting and he's alive. That's good enough right now.

Was there ever an analysis or theory you have read for a fandom you are in and it is really good but some parts of it are inaccurate/incorrect/incomplete etc. but you press "like" on the whole thing anyway instead of spending time reblogging talking about how you mostly agree with them but then list the small ways you add/correct/disagree with them about their post . . .

So now its saved in your "likes" and you just see it as a post you mostly agree with but not fully and you just want to take/remove certain parts of that analysis or theory (or mostly just inject some of your thoughts into a reblog, just adding your take, or at least part of it, on the analysis) but you just don't?

Maybe I should just so I could voice some of my thoughts on the matter instead of just letting it bounce around in my head.

I am one of them. I am a staunch sentimonster Adrien denier and I absolutely HATE the possibility of Adrien being sentimonster, and now I am scared for Felix too!

There is about only one specific theory that makes some sense where I'd probably be OK with Adrien being a sentimonster but even that has it problems when looked further into.

I say this because we might be getting something related to senitmonsters based on some of the clues others have pointed out but I feel its going to foreshadow a twist of a twist, like leading the audience and/or the character astray/one direction/to a red herring only for something to then be revealed as something else, like maybe a character thinking he is a sentimonster only to be revealed something else sentimonster etc.

Or maybe its going to be something like that not related to sentimonsters.

Like maybe foreshadowing/hinting at something else in the future that the audience may not understand yet and so they start developing these theories.

It is like one part of Felix and Gabriel's dialogue in "Gabriel Agreste," in front of the Emilie portrait. It suggests that Felix may be a sentimonster of some sort and that Gabriel is willing to end his existence if he doesn't comply with Gabriel, but simultaneously (maybe moreso) it suggests the same but without Gabriel "confirming" himself to be Shadow Moth [- some people thought it was suggesting this but I felt like it wasn't, but it could be taken as such] and implying Felix thinks he is a sentimonster. It would just be saying that Gabe is already powerful enough and doesn't have to be Shadow Moth in order to destroy Felix's life if he doesn't give him the twin ring (his wedding ring) back.

Its such well written, dubious and scary piece of dialogue!

And Gabriel got out of the whole ordeal thinking he got Felix of his case about Shadow Moth while Felix was one step ahead of him.

That piece of dialogue feels like it is written in way to heavily suggest that Felix is a sentimonster but not outright confirm it.

While I hate the theory of Felix being a sentimonster along with the senti Adrien, he has some convincing evidence for this compared to the senti Adrien theory.

I took a break from writing this post at the end of paragraph and came back to it later and now I am not quite in the same headspace as I was when I was when first writing this but this is pretty much everything what I wanted to say.

So to reiterate: I am a very firm denier of the senti Adrien theory as well as the senti Felix theory and I'd hate for both or either to happen, but for better or for worse I fear something is going to happen.

So, how many of you are out there that still simply deny the Sentimonster theory with all your being?

So About the Kwami Swap EP...

First of all I really hope it's a two-parter because there's a lot of potential there and I don't want them to be short on time exploring it.

And second, we know we're getting Black Cat Marinette and Ladybug Adrien. But! Are the others going to swap Kwamis as well? Is everyone going to swap?

If Hawkmoth is left out then that means one of the heroes will be left out as well(probably Chloe). So then that'd mean we could see Fox Nino and Turtle Alya!

On the other hand, if Hawkmoth ends up swapping as well then we have much more possible combinations. Along with Nino and Alya swapping theirs we could see a Butterfly Chloe and Bee Gabriel!

Or Bee Alya and Fox Chloe with Turtle Gabriel and Butterfly Nino.

Or Butterfly Alya and Bee Nino with Fox Gabriel and Turtle Chloe.

Bee Gabriel or Fox Gabriel would probably have the most potential for villainy. (The Turtle is a naturally protective Miraculous so it would be kind of hard to make it villainous.)

Butterfly Chloe would be hard for her because she'd be trying to turn someone heroic instead of villainous.(She's had tons of practice turning others villainous with how often she's been the cause of people getting akumatized.) Which could be detrimental to developing her character further...

So overall I'm leaning towards Fox Nino & Turtle Alya with Butterfly Chloe & Bee Gabriel. (The first two for cute couple reasons with the last two being more plot related wishes.) But what do you guys think?

P. S. I didn't include the Peacock Miraculous in this because I think it's broken? So I thought it best to leave it alone.

I can’t stop thinking about how cool a plot thread/point this could be so here’s some more thoughts on it:

*If the Kwami swap is a two-parter then in the first part she could akumatize (But like the good version of it? Would it still be called the same thing when not corrupted?) Butler Jean in the first part and Sabrina in the second part.

*They might be the only two wiling to listen to her long enough to become heroes/champions for her during the time she wields the Butterfly Miraculous(however long the swap goes on for).

*She could appeal to them and strengthen her connections to them by truly recognizing them both as important people to her- Jean as part of her family and Sabrina as her best friend.

*By her making Sabrina a hero that helps save the day she could partly make up for causing her to become a villain/the Vanisher. This could help them on the path to becoming actual best friends instead of just fake friends/using her.

*Also just imagine how poor Nooroo would react. He finally gets a holder other than Gabriel(who is very dismissive and controlling of him) only for it to be someone else who will probably look down on him(or so he thinks/it seems).

*Though her and Pollen due seem to get along rather well. So imagine Chloe feeling terrible every time she accidentally makes Nooroo flinch from her or shrink away from her. Because Pollen’s her friend, and Nooroo is Pollen’s friend, and she doesn’t want Pollen’s friend to hate her so that Pollen doesn’t hate her.

*Speaking of Pollen she seems to hold Chloe in high regards so just imagine how wonderful it would be to have her back talk Gabriel on her behalf. Like he’s being controlling of her and she mentions that Chloe’s her true queen so that prompts him to be all “Well I’m your king now.” and she just snaps back at him with “There are only Queens in beehives, Hawkmoth. You will never be royalty to me.”
