I've decided. Dean DEFINITELY calls Sam "Sweetheart" during sex.

I have a sweet little headcanon where "Little Brother" is used for when Dean and Sam are feeling particularly raunchy. You know, when Dean likes to remind Sam just how filthy they really are despite Dean already being balls deep and Sam begging for Dean to somehow get closer—

But 🥰✨"Sweetheart"✨😍, she's icing on the cake.

She's reserved for when Dean's being gentle. When Sam's a whimpering, moaning mess, practically on the verge of tears and all he wants is for Dean to keep going.

When Dean litters his neck and back with kisses while Sam cums for the second maybe third time that night.

When overstimulation has Sam seeing stars yet Dean continues to roll his hips becuase he knows Sam deserves every last drop.

When they lay there in silence, covered in sweat and it's the only word that falls from his lips before they fall asleep.

. . .Yeah, "Sweetheart" is confirmed. You heard it hear first.

Fic Reader Poll: Text Messages

Okay, another poll for y'all. I'm writing a fic with a lot of text message exchanges between two characters (details below poll).

As a reader, do you prefer that the text messages are written with the same proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar (SPAG) as the rest of the fic? Or do you prefer to see the writer's interpretation of a character's 'voice' with a realistic texting style, e.g. typos, abbreviations, missing SPAG?

Please don't just vote based on your headcanon for how your blorbos would text. Vote based on what you find most enjoyable to read.

For reference, and if anyone would like to share their opinion with me about my specific situation, the characters are a semi-AU Sam and Dean Winchester (they're not brothers but they're still hunters in the SPN universe). I headcanon Dean as being fairly loose with his texting, rapid-fire short messages, not bothered with much more SPAG than autocorrect does for him. He'll correct a typo if he notices it. For Sam, I see him as a step above that, longer single messages, proper capitalisation and more punctuation, but not fussed with perfection.

So that's how I've been writing it so far. But having said all that, I don't want the reader to struggle to actually read these exchanges, especially since there are many of them. Conundrum. 🤔

• last year of highschool sam who meets dean at a motel some friday nights where dean is just a romantic and then it devolves into hot, dirty sex

• OH OH sam egging him on - “you really fuck like an old man.” and dean fucking that brattiness out of him. “what was that bitch?” dean spits and grips sam's shaggy hair, not caring if it really hurt and speeds up his thrusts, sam focusing on heavy balls slapping against him, which turns him on even further.

• maybe dean letting go of his grasp in sam's hair and then just as sam rests his head down, he's suprised by dean wrapping his thick hand around sam's throat. squeezing and dean bends down, “now you listen to me, you whore.....”

• dean pays for the stay and asks to treat him to a fancy meal next weekend with which sam happily accepts.
