just friends (pt. 2) - t. chalamet x reader

really no one asked for a part 2 but I had it in my drafts then one person asked so here, one person that I love dearly :) @eternaleviee

pairing: reader x timotheé chalamet

warnings: swearing, mentions of the hanky panky

part 1 , part 3

lil recap: just a background, how they met, the beginning of their friendship, when y/n had a lil crush on timo

image

It was tearing you apart. Eating at your insides, making you feel all guilty inside. You’ve been telling yourself all these years that your crush on Timotheé had vanished, but in reality, it had grown stronger and you didn’t even realize it.

How didn’t you realize it? You aren’t sure. You told yourself the butterflies in your stomach was the happiness of seeing your best friend.

You were in love with Timotheé, and you couldn't ignore or deny it anymore. And it was all because of a little comment. A stupid comment on an Instagram post of you two.

the way they look at each other... y/n looks at him like he puts the stars in her sky.

“Like he puts the stars in her sky.” That made it all the more complex, but much more sense. Timotheé did put the stars in her sky. He put the happiness in her life. The hope.

You were brought out of your thoughts when Timotheé tugged on your wrist, pulling you down Hollywood Boulevard. The simple touch sent jolts up her arm and shivers down her spine.

“I don’t understand why I had to get so dressed up.” You grumbled, looking down at your black dress and heels. “Aren’t we just meeting our friends?”

“Yeah, but we’re going to Chateau Marmont and there’s someone I’d like you to meet.” He grinned over his shoulder. Your heart dropped in your stomach, and you felt sick.

The last time he said that, you met Reilyn. His controlling, invasive ex-girlfriend that stole all of his time. There was someone else, now.

You sighed and put on a fake smile, nodding. You wished you never read that comment. Maybe you wouldn’t feel so sick to your stomach right now.

You arrived at the restaurant and Timotheé spoke to a waiter before following him to a booth in the very back, in a different room then everyone else. You saw your whole friend group, and an unfamiliar girl sitting next to (y/b/f). Everyone looked up when you two arrived, and the unfamiliar girl got up and smiled at Timotheé, pressing a kiss to his cheek.

I should’ve stayed in bed. You thought, scanning her. She had shoulder length blonde hair, beautiful facial structure, and perfect height.

She turned to you, and held out a hand. “Hi, I’ve heard about you a lot. Timo talks about you all the time.” She smiled politely.

Funny, I haven’t heard a word about you. You looked over at Timotheé, seeing him stare at the both of you nervously. You were the only person who ever called him Timo.

“It’s nice to meet you...” You went on, gesturing for her name.

Something flashed in her eyes, and her gaze flickered to Timotheé for a short second. He hung his head and she looked back over at you. “Lily.”

“Nice to meet you, Lily.” You smiled, shaking her hand. She smiled back and returned back to her seat. You sat at the open seat next to one of your friends and got lost in conversation, but couldn’t shake the thought of Lily and Timotheé out of your mind.

“I think you should tell him.” Harry shrugged, taking a sip of his tea.

You and Harry Styles had been friends for a while. You collaborated on a song and continued to be very good friends after that, and you often went to each other for advice.

“He’s dating Lily.” You reminded him, furrowing your eyebrows.

“I know. But if he never told you about her and he always talks about you, there’s something going on. Tell him, y/n/n. YOLO.” Harry smiled, nudging your hand that was resting on the table at the small cafe you were at.

You looked up from your cup, narrowing your eyes. “Never say that again.” You tried not to laugh. He laughed, which only made you laugh.

“Just promise me you’ll try.” He realized you weren't going to tell him. You sighed, and nodded.

“I’ll try.”

Nope. Nope. You weren't going to tell him. You went over to his place in hopes that he was alone, but as soon as you got to the door you heard the moans and headboard slapping.

That was almost a week ago, and you couldn't get the noises out of your mind. You missed being on tour and being occupied every second so you had no time to overthink anything. Now, you were doubting everything.

A few days after the... incident, you went out for coffee with Lily and Timotheé, determined to force yourself to like her. There was nothing not to like, except for the fact she was dating him.

You proved yourself wrong. The whole time, she was glaring at you while Timotheé tried to engage in conversation. When he got up to go get another coffee, she was off on a rant about how you were obsessed with Timotheé and that you needed to stay away. As soon as Timmy came back, you said your goodbyes quickly and rushed out of the cafe, your blood boiling.

It took a week for Timotheé to realize you were acting strange. He walked in unannounced to your apartment just in time to see your regular fuck buddy, Jack come out.

He was pulling his t-shirt over his head, and once it was over his torso, Timotheé could see that he was panting. His eyes snapped up him, and he nodded. “Sup, dude.” Jack breathed out, smiling at him before leaving the apartment.

Timotheé felt his heart clench and he rolled his eyes. He wanted to like Jack, he really did, but he couldn’t bring himself too. He sighed and walked to your bedroom, where you were getting back into bed.

“What did you forget, Jack?” You sighed, your back facing him. You climbed under the covers and then you noticed Timotheé standing by the door, wearing a jean jacket, a graphic tee, and grey sweatpants. “Oh. It’s you.”

Timotheé scoffed. “Yeah, it’s me. Sorry to disappoint.” He said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “Not happy to see me?”

You shrugged, but your insides were going crazy. Push back all the feelings. Don’t let him know. “Nice girlfriend.” Was all you said, pulling the covers up to your chin.

“This is about Lily.” He acknowledged. “I don't understand. Every time I get a girlfriend, you hate her. What’s wrong with you? Why won't you let me be happy?” You scoffed, turning over to look at him. “Let you be happy? That’s exactly what I’m trying to do! Every time you bring a girl near me, she automatically sees me as a threat. That’s why I stay away, so I don’t fuck up whatever is happening. I know you like Lily, and that’s why I haven’t been talking to you! She hates me, so I hate her. Just don’t bring her near me and we’ll be good.” You went off, throwing your hands up in the air at the end.

Timmy didn’t say anything, just raised his eyebrows. You stared at him, waiting for a response.

“...Sounds like you have a crush on me.” He shrugged, smirking at you.

Your heart sped up, afraid that he had caught you. Now everything was ruined. But you were going to do your best to deny it. “Grow the fuck up, Timotheé. This isn’t 2nd grade. I’m trying to be a good person.” You growl, laying back down and turning your back to him.

It was quiet, again. Then, you felt Timmy’s hands on your back, pushing you over. Then he was climbing in next to you, and he wrapped an arm around you. “Don’t be mad at me, please.” He mumbled, his forehead resting on your back.

God, curse you for falling for this scrawny, adorable, stubborn boy that is Timotheé Chalamet.

“I told you, I’m not mad at you.” You grumbled, trying to ignore the goosebumps on your skin from the arm that rested just below your breasts.

“You are. You’re just not admitting it,” He mumbled, his lips brushing against your skin with every word. The small action sent chills down your entire body. You couldn’t take this anymore. You thought you were going to explode if you didn't tell him.

“God damnit, Timotheé.” You whined, sitting up. You looked behind you to see Timotheé still laying down, staring at you. “How fucking oblivious can you be? How could you not see? Or maybe you did, and you’re doing this on purpose.” You shook your head, getting up.

“Slow down, y/n/n. What the fuck is going on?” Timmy furrowed his eyebrows. You rolled your eyes, crossing your arms.

“I’m fucking in love with you, Timotheé. I have been for years. You were too blind to see and I was too scared to tell. Are you happy now? You can get rid of me and go see your precious girlfriend. I’m staying away because I’m jealous, god.” You spilt out, not caring anymore. You kept your eyes anywhere but Timothee’s face.

“Y/n.” Timotheé said.

You sighed. “How hard is it for you to understand? I’m waiting. Just break my heart and leave.”

Your eyes finally landed on Timotheé only to see him centimeters away from your face. Then, he was leaning in and kissing you.

The feeling felt nothing like you thought it would. You thought it would bring butterflies to your stomach and make you feel all giddy, but it just ignited the flame inside you even more and your whole body felt like an oven. You didn’t realize you were kissing back until your fingers were tugging at his hair.

Your lips moved sloppily, but with so much passion. The way Timotheé’s hands fisted your shirt said it all. You were sure after this, there was no way you were going to be able to let him leave.

He was pulling you closer and closer to him, until there was no room in between you two. But then, his phone started ringing.

He told you to ignore it, but you shook your head and pulled away from him, using all your self restraint to do so. You were breathing heavily and so was he as he grabbed his phone, to see the contact name on the screen.

Lily.

just friends - t. chalamet x reader

been getting in my Timmy feels lately and haven’t posted in a hot minute since I keep procrastinating so here’s a timmy imagine

pairing: platonic!timothée x platonic!reader

warnings: lil angst, mentions of drugs, just some platonic fluff and some swearing

You and Timothée met years ago, back in 2015. He was 19 and you were 17. You ran into each other at an awards show and clicked. You knew from the moment you started talking that there would be a friendship.

As time passed, you got closer and closer until you were inseparable. Only a few months after you met, you had opened up to him.

Ego // Sweet Pea (part 1)

image
image

first imagine for sweets <33333 did this in honor of Riverdale s4 coming out ehehehehe also this is from the pov of sCaRLEtT bc I really like that name eheheh

As a serpent, she had an ego just like all of the other members. When Scarlett Calahan’s dad died the day she turned 13, FP was quick to follow James Callahan’s (known as JC) orders and she became a serpent.

Only, Joaquin, FP and Jughead were the only ones who knew that her dad died. FP told all the Serpents that he was diagnosed with alzheimer and that he should be left alone.

Scarlett had an amazing group of friends, until that fateful day. Her, Fangs, Sweet Pea, Joaquin, and Toni were that group of friends that everyone wished they had. When JC died, she moved to the Northside, enrolled in Riverdale High for freshman year, and abandoned her group of friends. She was taken under the wing by Fred Andrews, per se FP’s request. Because her and Archie were the same age, they got along quite nicely. Archie wasn’t bothered that she came off as rude sometimes, or that she had a massive ego and was quite the pessimist. He was, however, bothered by the fact that she was a Serpent.

“I just don't understand,” Archie had shrugged one day, sitting on his bed doing homework while Scarlett sat across from him, staring at that stupid football poster on his wall. “How could you be apart of a gang that’s so... violent?” He had said it like he was disgusted. And he was. Disgusted that a girl he was so in love with was in a gang, full of drugs, murders, and thieves.

“Dad’s request, Arch. I don’t mind, though. It makes me feel like I’m in control of something.”

She continued to show up to Serpent meetings and sometimes special occasions, if necessary. She fit in nicely in the corner, observing. On rare occasions, Tall Boy noticed her and gave her a smile.

Of course, even after she moved to the Northside, Joaquin was always in contact with her. On Fridays, when he wasn’t at the Wyrm, he’d climb up to her window and she’d tell him about her week. Sometimes during meetings he’d slip in the back with her.

At school, she didn’t have very many friends. Archie and Jughead, of course, but they all usually stayed clear of each other during school. Betty was very much creeped out by Scarlett, so that meant Kevin was too even though he was dating her best friend.

By the middle of sophomore year, everyone had found out that Scarlett was a serpent. She didn’t bother to hide her serpent jacket, and wore it to school. Josie started talking to her more, probably to use her as a charity case.

Cheryl, who was okay with her before, began the shaming as soon as she found out. All Scarlett could do was clench her fists and squeeze her eyes shut to avoid a fight, but one too many times that didn’t work.

One by one, everything crashed. She was accused of Jason Blossom’s death, found out her best friend and FP were partly responsible for Jason’s death, found out Mustang was found dead in a bathtub, and Joaquin had to wish her a tearful goodbye before he left town for good. Fred was shot, she spent days in the hospital, and the Black Hood was born.

“So, a little birdie told me today was your first day at Southside High? How’d that go?” Scarlett asked, finding Jughead typing on his computer at Pop’s.

Jughead looked up, smiling at Scarlett. “It was... interesting. Place is a shit show, I feel bad for all of them.” Jughead shrugged. Scarlett laughed softly, not expecting anything more from the Southside.

“Yeah? How was lunch? No Ghoulies messed with you, right?” Scarlett piled on the questions, narrowing her eyes. Jughead snorted, shaking his head.

“Sat alone. This girl named... Toni Topaz? You probably know her. Anyways, she showed me around and invited me to sit with her and the serpents since my dad’s one. I said no, and blah blah blah. Day went on and I met uh... some very interesting people.” Jughead explained.

“Yeah?” She raised her eyebrows. “Yeah. I know Toni. Who’d you meet?” Toni had since brushed her off after she left the Southside. She remembers one time, just a few months after she cut them off, she was walking back to the trailer park to talk to FP, and Toni slammed her against the wall and slapped her.

“You think you’re so cool, ditching us for Northsiders huh? Were we really that bad? Stupid bitch, you may be a serpent by tattoo now but you’ll never be a serpent by heart.”

“This one guy, he asked me about you. His name’s Fangs I think? He seemed like he genuinely cared. Then, Toni cut him off before I could say anything and told him to shut up. This other guy, Sweet Pea rolled his eyes. Sweet Pea’s a real jerk, got mad at me because I wouldn’t hang out with them after school.” Jughead said.

Her heart jumped at the mention of Sweet Pea. She’d always had a huge crush on him when they were younger, and even now sometimes she found it hard to get him off her mind. She hadn’t talked to him or seen him since before she left unexpectedly. On another note, The fact that Fangs asked about her too surprised her.

Her phone dinged, and she picked it up only to find Fred messaging her that Archie was going to be with friends tonight and that he was almost done making dinner if she wanted some.

“Hey, Jug, I gotta go. But... will you do me a favor?” She asked, sliding her phone in to her pocket. Jughead hummed in response, looking up at her. “Tomorrow, you know, if Sweet Pea gets his head out of his ass, would you ask him about me?”

Jughead furrowed his eyebrows, but nodded nonetheless. I waved goodbye to him and then left, hopping on my motorcycle and going home, thoughts of Sweet Pea in my head.

Not but a few days later, Archie’s video of the Red Circle spread around and the red dot painted on white t-shirts everywhere began to make her feel sick. She had voiced her opinion to Archie, who completely brushed it off. The first red Circle meeting was held at their house, where Scarlett stayed in the kitchen and did her homework, since she had nothing better to do. She also just wanted to eavesdrop on them.

Then, there were people at the door. Veronica walked in to the kitchen, breaking Scarlett from her trance. “Um, Scarlett? Your... buddies are here. And I think they want to cause trouble.”

Cause trouble my ass, Scarlett thought. If only Archie could use his brain, this wouldn’t be happening right now. She got up, walking down the hallway to where everyone was crowded around the front door.

She pushed past everyone, joining Archie. “No, Scarlett-” Archie started, but was cut off by a tall black haired hottie she didn’t recognize.

“Calahan? This is the fucking idiot you’re living with? I thought Jones was lying.” He scoffed. Then, she recognized him.

“Sweet Pea?” She mumbled. He stared at her for a second, then looked back at Archie.

Before she knew it, they were all outside. She watched, with slight pride. She’d never doubt the Serpents’ pride.

After a while, she began to feel like something was going to go wrong. She saw Dilton bend down, pulling something out of his pocket.

“Oh hell no.” She grumbled. She ran over to him, tackling him to the ground. Then, she groaned in pain and felt Dilton do the same. The knife had sliced them both. Then, a gunshot rang out. She sat up in pain, seeing Veronica with a gun in the air and the Serpents racing away in their bikes.

Dilton was helped up by Reggie, and Archie grabbed her and helped her inside. Scarlett could tell Archie was pissed, so she didn't say anything to him when he stormed out of her room.

“Did you guys really jump Dilton Doiley and Scarlett? She’s a fucking serpent.” Jughead stormed out to the courtyard at Southside High during lunch. He approached Toni, Fangs, and Sweet Pea who all looked at each other.

“Where’d you hear that from, Jones?” Toni scoffed, crossing her arms.

“Archie.” Jughead responded plainly, looking between all of them.

“No,” Fangs shook his head. “The idiot stabbed himself, and when Scarlett tried to stop him from stabbing Sweet Pea, he stabbed her too.”

Sweet Pea’s eyebrows raised in surprise, unaware of this. Of course, somewhere down inside his black heart, he had a soft spot for Scarlett. That spot was covered by a hard shell though, especially after she left them for some stupid Northsiders and thought she could remain a serpent.

“Um.. speaking of Scarlett... How is she?” Toni asked carefully. Jughead sighed, shrugging. “No one really knows these days. Not even me or Archie. Used to talk to Joaquin, but ever since he left... not really.” He explained.

“She was still talking to Joaquin? He never said anything about her.” Fangs said, looking at his friends. Toni shrugged, confused too.

“Um.. she’s coming to my trial tonight. If you guys wanted to see her.” Jughead added. Toni nodded and looked at Fangs. Sweet Pea only scoffed, mumbling something under his breath.

Scarlett found herself standing in the corner at the Wyrm, like always. Just this time, she didn’t have Joaquin making unnecessary, hilarious side comments. As  if someone was reading her mind, a tall figure appeared next to her. “Didn’t know you actually came to events like these.” Sweet Pea scoffed. She rolled her eyes.

“I’m a serpent, whether you like it or not, Sweet Pea.” She snapped back, not bothering to look at him, and lose her whole I’m-a-bad-girl facade.

“That’s where you’re wrong, Calahan.” The tall boy replied. He stepped closer to her, and she only straightened her posture to show him she was just as tough as him. “You may think you’re a serpent because of your jacket, or your tattoo, but you’ll never be a serpent by heart. How could you be, if you ditch the people that need you the most? Your own family? If you never show up to the meetings, mingle with the enemies, you could never be a serpent.” Sweet Pea said, in his slow, deep, intimidating voice.

Scarlett snickered, stepping closer to him. They were chest to chest. “Honey, you’ve got me all wrong. I’ve been here the whole time. Maybe not the same school, but I’ve been at all the meetings, all of the important events, hell, I was there when you were initiated, I was there when Toni was, I was there when Fangs was. You just didn’t see me. And, don’t assume things if you don’t know the whole story. You think you know shit, but you don’t. Get your head out of your ass.”

“I should be the one saying that to you, Calahan. You think you’re hot shit, prancing around with the Bulldogs, pretending you don’t know us. You ditched us for crying out loud! And not once did you explain, or even say bye! This is the first time I’ve seen you in 3 years, for gods sake!” He yelled.

I rolled my eyes, pushing past him and walking out of the bar. I could hear his footsteps behind me, and before I knew it, I was being turned around and my lips were pressed against the one person I’ve been dreaming of kissing since second grade.

i think this is really bad ahahahah i didn’t edit it oops

other notes: fem reader

i feel like i switch between point of views without saying it?? sorry

y/f/c: your favorite color

g/n: guardian noun

i edited this thrice but not sure if i still caught everything

wow i am shocked at the response this work has gotten—mostly because i feel like i’m a terrible writer and i’m shook that people enjoy my work; anyways enjoy, sorry part three took so long (i was caught up binging a new show—new to me—on netflix, as well as work); hopefully part four will be up in a few days or less

image

y/n twirls around in front of her closet mirror, admiring her look for tonight. she had done a (simple/full) face of makeup, and had managed to style her hair exactly the way she’d planned. her dress was a beautiful y/f/c that fit her perfectly and her shoes perfectly tied the whole look together.

and she was going with ricky bowen.

could tonight be any better?

okay, scratch that. it could be better if big red accepted the fact that she was going with ricky, but he’d made it very clear he would never accept it.

it was at lunch last week, the day after ricky asked you to homecoming, that big red muttered, “i don’t trust him,” as he watched ricky and ej execute some stupid handshake. “i don’t trust him at all. literally ask anyone and they’d tell you the same thing i’ve been trying to. just saying.”

you had waved him off, said their friendship ended on bad terms but he had no reason to be so bitter as to call him such awful names. you swear he could have had you six feet under that day with the look he gave you when those words left your mouth.

the doorbell rings and you nearly scream, suddenly very nervous for the night. g/n calls out to you, informing you that your date has arrived.

you give yourself one last glance in the mirror, before shutting the lights off and heading to the main room.

ricky stands there in a black suit, with a white undershirt and a y/f/c tie.

“you look amazing.” you two say it at the same time, causing you both to laugh.

your g/n claps their hands, trying to contain their giddiness. you look over at them, silently pleading with them to leave the room.

they point towards the kitchen. “i’m just going to go make myself some supper. you two have fun at homecoming.”

“what’s that?” you ask, pointing to a small plastic box ricky is holding in his left hand.

he follows your gaze and, “oh yeah! i uh, i totally forgot. my dad didn’t want me showing up here without a corsage, so.”

ricky doesn’t say anymore, and you slowly approach him. gently, he grabs your left wrist and brings it up to attach the corsage. it’s only for about two seconds after that he holds your wrist in his hands but it feels like so much more.

finally, you pull away, rubbing your palms on the sides of your dress.

“you matched.”

“you asked me to.”

“i didn’t think you’d actually do it.”

“i’m a lot of things, but a deal-breaker isn’t one of them,” he mutters. “anyways, i know i said we’d have ej and nini tonight but they got another ride. it’s just us. is that okay?”

y/n nods and ricky smiles, opening the front door and stepping outside. before you shut the door behind you, you yell out to g/n that you’re leaving.

“have fun!” they respond. “love you! be safe!”

ricky leads you to his car, a vintage orange beetle, something straight out of a cartoon. he opens the passenger door for you, and you smile at him as you climb in. he closes the door and goes to the driver’s side.

you notice a tiki totem hanging from the rearview mirror and you reach out to feel it. ricky watches as you run your thumb gently over each tiki, laughing quietly to yourself.

“big red has one of these,” you say.

“yeah uhm,” ricky breathes. “he and his family went to hawaii the summer before sixth grade and he got two of those. one for me, one for him. came back with a nasty sunburn too.”

you laugh at that.

“cool car.” you hum, looking around the beetle. “clean too.”

ricky chuckles softly as he turns the engine over and backs out of your driveway. you lean back in your seat, turning your head to watch him as he drives. jeez, he really is so beautiful with his curly hair and glowing skin.

the ride to homecoming is quiet. he keeps his focus on the road for the most part, and only catches you staring at him twice. most girls would have blushed and looked away until they were sure he’s looked away again, but not you, he notes. you just smile at him, a dreamy look in your eyes.

            ♫♪♬

the dance is already in full swing once you get there. the music blasts through the gym and friends and couples alike are dancing to the upbeat song blaring through the speakers dispersed around the room.

you look around the space and spot big red sitting at a table in the corner with a few other theatre kids. you grab ricky’s hand and lead him over to the table, taking a seat next to big red. you don’t notice the glare big red gives ricky as your date takes a seat next to you.

“how long have you been here?” you ask big red, leaning in to give him a hug.

he hugs you back tightly, unbeknownst to you, giving ricky a death glare over your shoulder. as he pulls away, he smiles at you, “oh about an hour. almost thought you weren’t coming.”

“i just had to wait for ricky.” you smile, placing a hand on your date’s arm.

big red smiles at you. it’s the fakest smile you’ve ever seen on his face. you know he doesn’t approve of you going to homecoming with ricky, but he could at least act like he doesn’t mind for one night.

ricky looks around the gym, noticing ej and nini making out in a corner. he taps you on the shoulder and you turn to look at him, offering him a smile. he would never tell anyone that in just the span of a few days, your smile has stolen his heart.

“hey, i’m just gonna go talk to ej real quick, okay?”

“alright, go ahead. see you soon.” you say, nodding your head.

he stands up, leaning to give you a peck on the crown of your head. you don’t expect it but the action leaves you warm and blushing and your heart fluttering as you stare at the back of him as he saunters toward his friends.

it’s big red snapping his fingers in front of your face that brings you back to the here and now.

“so.” big red drawls, taking a sip from the cup of cherry punch that sits in front of him. “how was the ride here?”

“good,” you say. “uneventful. he still has the totem you gave him from hawaii.”

your friend nearly spits out his punch. “what?” he exclaims.

“yeah, uh. what?”

“he still has that thing?”

“why wouldn’t he?”

“because,” big red sputters. “i hate him. and he knows it. he hates me too.”

“awe,” you pout. “you don’t know that. he still has it, he must still care about you somewhere deep down in the dark, cold heart of his.”

big red scoffs, unamused by your sarcasm.

he points at you and sneers, “i don’t appreciate your attitude, girl. look,” he sighs, closing his eyes as he pinches the bridge of his nose. “i just- i don’t want to get hurt.”

“i’m a big girl,” you mutter.

“but ricky is ricky. and you don’t know him like i do.”

“red, you haven’t talked to him since what? the summer before freshman year?”

“y/n, he has a rep.”

“again, back in freshman year.”

“and sophomore.”

“half of sophomore,” you correct. “i really like him, red. come on, we’ve been friends for like, three years. you know i can handle myself.”

modern english’s “i melt with you” begins playing as big red opens his mouth to retort. then ricky walks up, offering you a smile and a hand.

“may i have this dance?”
