Oh my goodness, I remembered to take process photos!
This is the process and some close ups for this Easter card.

I’ve recently become aware that I make two very different first impressions. Which one is how I come across online?

Daichi Sawamura and Tetsurou Kuroo from Haikyuu!!
I had a sudden desire to do some pencil colouring, and I’d recently seen some really nice fanart of Daichi but none showing the massive bruise he surely has during the second Seijoh match, (maybe nobody else likes drawing bruises as much as me...) and one thing lead to another and now I have embarrassing sports anime fanart in my sketchbook. The two little scribbles at the side are me trying to figure out what Kuroo’s hair is supposed to look like, if the way it normally looks is uncontrollable bed hair. Is he aiming for something like Oikawa? We may never know.
I almost covered Kuroo in acne but then I thought his expression was greasy enough.

Yuu Nishinoya from Haikyuu!! What he lacks in stature, he makes up in enthusiasm!
Since I posted those lovingly rendered volleyball captains from before I realised I might as well post the matching giant embarrassing picture of my tiny embarrassing favourite. I think he is the best and I would carry him around in my pocket. (Although my goodness, my colouring pencil set was not friendly to his skin tone.) Incidentally, colouring the collar of his shirt set off a really intense (almost flashback-level) memory of the sort of... musty and slightly goat-like... smell of the boys in secondary school. Make of that what you will. Did I mention I really like drawing bruises?

Have some pokémon!
If you follow me on twitter you might have spotted I’ve been working on some pokémon ACEOs. I’m planning to do all 151 from Gen 1, but I want them to have a consistent style so these are some little testers I did as gifts for some of my friends. I’m making some progress with the proper run now, so look out for some starters next week!
