Headcannon #1

You know he always has long days of work behind him.

So like the good s/o you are, you make his favorite food and clean up the house/apartment real nice. You hear the sound of keys unlocking the front door as he walks in with an exhausted frown resting on his face.

But his mood quickly changes as soon as he smells the mouth-watering scent coming from the kitchen.

He drops his stuff at the front door and walks into your shared kitchen, noticing you have your back turned to him, as you hum a lovely song under your breath.

All his senses have been heightened and his bad mood is already so much better, that he slowly walks behind you and wraps his strong arms around your waist.

Gasping in surprise, you immediately smile and blush when the scent of your partner fills your nose.

“Welcome home my love.”

Meeting a Beautiful Fan

♡ Sakusa Kiyoomi

“Um, hello.”

“Hey….Hi.”

“Are you Sakusa Kyoomi?”

“Yeah, that’s-“ This is an angel. He’s looking at an angel right now. “That’s me.”

“Oh! Okay,” You nod, gesturing at the matching jersey in your hand. “If you’re not too busy, can you sign this jersey?”

Sakusa nods silently and reaches for the shirt, nearly swallowing his tongue as his fingers brush with yours. “Who should I… make it out to?”

“Oh um - if you can, can you just wish my friend a happy birthday? Her name’s Aiko.”

“Oh, this is a gift.” He sounds impassive but that’s because he’s having a meltdown on the inside. “‘Was wondering why I haven’t seen you at any of the games.”

“Yeah, my friend’s a huge fan but she’ll be overseas until next year so, I came and got some souvenirs to send her.” He nods at the explanation, but nearly overheats when you continue. “But your plays were amazing, this being the first time I’m seeing them in person. I can see why she’s such a big fan.”

“Thank you. I uh..” He glances around. “I appreciate it.”

“Uh no, thank you-“

“Wait there a sec- Miya!”

Atsumu looks over and trots to him with a smile, bouncing the novelty foam ball in his hand and nearly dropping it once he’s got a glance at the dime standing in front of his teammate.

“Heya there, angel-“

“Can I have that?” He points to the ball.

Atsumu immediately catches on. “Oh, sure thing! Here, gorgeous, ya want me ta sign it-“

“No.” Sakusa takes it out of his hand and scribbles on it with his pen. “Here, uh… keep this for yourself.”

“Hm? Oh.” You reach for the ball and Atsumu nearly croons at the sound of your voice. He nearly says something to, if not for the clear call of dibs drilling holes in his head as Sakusa side eyes him.

You smile and it’s straight out of a day dream. “I appreciate it, thank you.”

Sakusa nods as you side-step your way out of the line and they both wave back at you as you walk away.

Atsumu smacks his teeth. “There she goes, ma future wife walking off with your number.”

Sakusa elbows him.

♡ Bokuto Kotarou

“Uh, are you Bokuto?” A voice inquires softly behind him.

Kotarou turns with a gleeful smile to address the fan standing behind him. Smiling widely as he cheers from the deeper portion of his chest. “Hey, Hey….H-Hey!”

Holy shit.

You return his grin with a closed mouth smile as you bow, hardly paying any mind to the way his grin slowly falls into a disbelieving gape. “Nice to meet you.”

“Y-…Yeah, it really is!” He stammers a bit nervously. “Nice to meet you, I mean. It’s- It’s really nice to meet you too!”

You snicker somewhat and his chest caves in.

“That’s great!” Your attempt to exclaim with him is poor and a little cut off by the sheer silliness of trying to match his energy but it’s cute regardless. He barely registers the jersey in your hand, too busy planning out what your wedding reception is gonna look like.

“Is it okay if I ask you to sign this?” You simper.

Ko takes it out of your hand with an eager few nods. “Yeah! Of course!” He whips out his marker. “And what’s the pretty girl’s pretty name?”

“Oh, it’s- Well this is actually a gift for my friend, Aiko. Who’s a huge fan. But I’m-…My name’s ____.” You stumble a bit.

He nearly croons. Are you nervous? He’s the one staring at the girl of his dreams right now! Ah, and you’re such a good friend! Going out of your way to get your friend a gift like this! He swears he’d swoon over you if he could.

“Yeah? Birthday?” You nod as he regains a bit of his composure. “Cool. Cool. And are uh… are you a fan?”

“Me? Oh, this is actually my first game.” You admit. “But it was really fun watching you play. Your…line shots? I think? They’re super duper cool!” You beam up at him, he nearly clenches his heart in duress.

Ko gasps. “Thank you!! Sometimes I forget how to do ‘em!!” The two of you giggle a little together. “But I’m flattered regardless! Think after this match you’ll become a regular?”

You shrug. “Maybe. If I can find some time between school work.”

“College student?” You give him an affirming hum. “That’s really cool. Well - Hey, I’d like to see you again regardless?”

He rips a thin sheet of signing paper from the table beside him and bends to jot his phone number on it before folding it a couple times.

Ko turns back to you and somehow you’re even cuter than you were when he first looked at you. “If that’s… alright? Maybe we can catch a drink or something later?”

You give him a bit of a disbelieving smile but take it regardless. Belatedly he realizes what a small chance it was that you’d even be single. “O-Oh! Yeah sure that’d be great.”

Ko smiles excitedly, like he’s won twice today. “Great! Well, I’ll uh- I’ll talk to you later?”

“Definitely.” You smile, and he’s floating on cloud 9 as you start to walk away. “Bye!”

“Bye-Bye!”

♡ Atsumu Miya

Atsumu’s smile wavers when you shuffle into the front of the line but only because he’s a little too surprised to remain cordial. It’s not every day that your dream girl shows up in line to ask you for an autograph.

“Hello.”

“Hi,” He immediately grabs the foam ball to the left of him. “Didn’t know they let angels in here?”

You smile a little at his quip but you aren’t as affected by it as he’d like you to be. “Ah, that’s very kind of you, Miya-san. Thank you.”

“Don’t mention it, gorgeous.” His chair creaks as he stands up, and he cradles the toy between his elbow as he reaches for the novelty plushie in your hand. “So, who am I makin’ it out to?”

“My friend, Aiko? It’s her birthday.” You shift on your heels as he signs the doll. “She’s a huge fan. I really wanted to surprise her.”

“Yeah? That’s awful sweet of ya.” He smiles. You glow under the gym lights, he doesn’t know if it’s the afterglow of success or just the sheer desirability you exude that’s making you so painfully attractive to him right now. “What’s Aiko’s friend's name is what I really wanna know?”

“Me? Oh, my name’s ____.”

“Figures.” He tuts. “It fits ya, pretty.”

Atsumu bounces the ball sitting in the crook of his arm down to his palms as he hands you back the toy, quickly scribbling a little note on it before you can get the chance to thank him for his signature.

“Hey,” He leans in hushedly, you follow his lead, “It’s gonna kill me if I miss a chance like this, so here.” Atsumu sneaks the ball into your hands. “If you’re available?”

You glance at his handwriting on the ball and smile abashedly. The little giggle you let out makes his face hot. “Yeah? Sure thing.”

“A’right!” He leans back cheerfully, waving you off before the rest of his fans can catch on. “See ya later then, sweetpea.”

You smile as he twiggles his fingers at you from the stand, watching you disappear into the crowd even as his next fan stands in front to receive their own signature.

The ball crunches slightly against your wandering fingers.

“Your future boyfriend, Tsumu. <3 xxx-xxx-xxx.”

Here comes the (flu) Flood : Kenma Konzume x Reader

Hah, there’s nothing better than waking up on a beautiful Saturday morning after you worked your ass off in the vet clinic downtown.

Except, it wasn’t a usual beautiful Saturday morning.

In fact, it sucked.

Last night, you just felt so drained from your work shift that you just went to Kenma‘s Gamer room, telling him you’re going to bed early, since you’re not feeling 100%.

Your streamer boyfriend just waved his hand absently, murmuring a quiet ‘yeah yeah’, being too focused on streaming a video with the game Apex Legends you got him for his birthday.

Giving out an exhausted sigh, you decide not to disturb him any further.

Shedding yourself from your vet uniform, you let the scrubs fall down to the floor. Climbing beneath the cushy blanket of your bed, you wrap yourself into a little burrito and give out a few deep inhales and exhales.

Sleep takes over you quickly, as you close your eyes and drift into a dreamland full of talking animals and ice cream rivers.

Kenma is saying goodbye to his viewers, ending the stream.

He takes off his black cat ear headset and places it in front of him on his desk.

Leaning back on his gaming chair, he stretches his back until he hears his back pop a few times.

Glancing at the clock on his PC, he frowns a little bit.

It’s almost midnight and he doesn’t smell your cooking or hears any movement coming from the kitchen.

Kenma pushes himself off of his chair and makes his way towards your shared kitchen, only to find the entire apartment dark. Still no traces of you. He heads for the bedroom and lightly knocks on the white wood door.

Still no answer, he opens the door to take a peek at you.

Quietly stepping inside he takes a look at you with a small smile.

He eyes the scrubs on the floor, bends down to pick them up and puts them in the laundry basket.

Deciding to let you sleep, he leaves the room and moves back into the kitchen to make himself a bowl of cereal.

Munching on his cereal, he watches some Jacksepticeye before heading to bed with you.

As Kenma makes his way back into your bedroom, he looks at his phone, reading through the comments of his recent upload.

He takes off his hoodie, but leaves his shirt and sweats on for sleeping.

Climbing into bed beside you, he briefly brushes his arm against your side, but enough to make him stop his movements.

Kenma turns towards you with a slight frown and feels your arm up and down, feeling the heat and sweat on your skin.

Now worried, Kenma grabs your shoulder gently and turns your body towards him.

The state of your body shocks him a little bit, as his eyes widen.

You’re shivering more than usual and your breathing is a lot more heavy and quicker.

Putting his hand over your forehead he curses under his breath.

,,Damnit you’re burning up.”

Kenma throws the covers from his side off and with hurried but quiet footsteps he takes the thermometer and a cold washcloth with him from the bathroom back to the bedroom.

Placing the cold washcloth on your head, you flinch by the sudden coldness placed on your boiling hot skin.

Not really having the best knowledge about flu and medications, he decided to text Kuroo about it.

Kenma: hey kuroo, I think (y/n) is sick. What do I do?

Kuroo: hey, what do you mean ,you think’? Is she sick or not? 🤔

Kenma: well she’s burning up and her breathing is fast and heavy. Already put a cold washcloth on her forehead, but so far her temperature has decreased only slightly. What do I do?

Kuroo: uhhh I don’t know too much about that shit, sorry dude, but try to give her some meds for it 🤷🏼‍♂️

Kenma: which ones?

Kuroo: give her some paracetamol or something for her fever, that should do the trick. If it’s still not better, take her to the doctor in the morning.

Kenma: kuroo it’s almost 2 am… on a Sunday…

Kuroo: just trying to help >:( if her fever goes above 39.9, take her to the ER. Human body can only take so much heat and then it can get dangerous for her.

After reading the last sentence, Kenma feels his heart drop, his worries growing even more now.

Kuroo: bro you there? What’s (y/n)’s temperature?

After remeasuring your temperature, Kenma replies.

Kenma: it’s 38.6

Kuroo: that ain’t too bad. Just give her some paracetamol and she should be fine

Kenma: thanks Kuroo

Kuroo: no prob bro

Kenma walks to the medcabinet in your bathroom and looks for the medication that Kuroo suggested to him.

After going through everything he finally found it.

Reading the instructions, he takes one pill out of the bottle and makes his way towards the kitchen to grab a glass of water for you.

Kenma pushes the door open with the back of his foot.

The door makes a ‘bang’ noise as it is being pushed too hard and fast against the wall.

Flinching by the sudden loud noise, the brown-blond haired scrunches his eyes closed.

He peeks an eye open to carefully glance at you, only to let out a sigh of relief as he sees that you are not alarmed by the noise.

Kenma places the glass of water on the nightstand and sits beside you on the bed.

Gently shaking your shoulder, he tries to wake you up.

,,(Y/N)? Sorry to wake you baby but you got a slight fever and this pill should make it go away.”

You glance at your boyfriend with tired eyes but sit up nonetheless to take the pill.

The tired pro gamer helps you up on the bed and watches as you take the pill and swallow the water with it.

Mumbling a quiet ‘Thank you’ you lay back down again and you can feel your boyfriend tuck you back in with lots of warm blankets.

,,No problem baby, even though I don’t want what you have, I will always take care of you.”

You smile at his words and close your eyes again, already falling asleep again.

Kenma gets in beside you and texts Kuroo again.

Kenma: hey she took the pill, sleeping now. Thanks again kuroo.

Kuroo: you know you were never this affectionate before you started dating (y/n) 😏 in fact, when yamamoto was sick on our last trip together you called him a disgusting bacteria spreader. 😄😂

Kenma: obv yamamoto is not my girlfriend, so that’s a completely different story.

Kuroo: wouldn’t be (y/n) one as well then? 😜

Kenma: shut up she’s not

Kuroo: ohhhh someone’s a softie for his gf 🥺🥺

Kenma: I am not

Kuroo: are too😙

Kenma: am not

Kuroo: are too😋

Kenma shuts off his screen and puts his phone on charge.

Before he can close his eyes though, he can feel you turn around in the bedsheets towards him.

You start poking him with your finger and tell him to get out of the bed, before he catches what you have.

The former setter widens his eyes at your (demand) request but doesn’t argue any further.

Still, he mopes as he gets out of bed and transfers his way to the living to sleep on the couch.

Bracing himself for a horrible night of sleep, he shuts his eyes and crosses his arms over his chest, imagining he could be hugging you right now, as he drifts off into the abyss.

Kenma groans loudly in bed with a wet cold towel placed across his forehead.

Everything hurts. His body is switching the temperature constantly. Hot then cold, then hot and then cold again. His throat feels scratchy and every time he coughs, it feels like he is losing more and more HP points.

There’s no doubt about it.

You fucking got him sick.

After that horrible trip of your cold he went through with you, which went on for about five days, he somehow saw this coming. During your time while you were sick, Kenma slept on the couch, trying to avoid getting sick from you.

The first two nights weren’t too bad, since he is used to playing hours and hours on his gaming devices with the most uncomfortable positions any person could think of.

But on his third night, he felt really lonely.

Not having you by his side makes his heart beat like the saddest metronome.

Okay maybe this was exaggerating things a little bit, but you guys have been dating for almost six years now and he barely left your side.

He always held you in his arms to keep you warm at night, because the AC in your shared apartment sometimes made you feel too cold.

On some nights, he felt you shivering in your sleep.

So he would turn around on his side, facing you and he would pull you to his chest.

After a few short breaths, you would let out a deep sigh and stop shivering immediately, due to your personal heating blanket that had been attached to your back.

So that third night, he kept tossing around, not being able to fall asleep. He looked at his phone and saw that it was 2:34 am.

Leaning up on the couch, he tossed the blankets aside and went towards your shared bedroom.

His feet dragged across the floor, as he made his way inside and closed the door.

As he glanced across your figure, he saw the humidifier in your room was still going, but you were breathing heavily. Feeling your forehead, he winces a little bit at the high temperature of it and your slightly sweaty state.

He had grabbed a cold wash cloth from the bathroom, placed it on your forehead and settled in your bed together beside you.

You had woken up, due to the new form of heat on your skin and you turned around to see your loving partner draping more blankets over your figure to keep you warm.

,,Ken what are you doing in here? You’re going to get sick if you stay in here!” You scolded him with the low energy you had.

Kenma just gave you a weak shrug but gave you an answer.

,,I don’t want to sleep alone. And I miss sleeping beside you.” He mumbled into your neck while he was holding onto you like a clingy koala bear.

You were too tired to fight him off of you, so you just went with it and closed your eyes. The both of you falling asleep with smiles on your faces. Surely nothing will happen right?

Oh how wrong he was and how much he regrets this now.

He just feels awful. He wants this shit to end.

Kenma can hear the faint sound of your footsteps entering the bedroom.

He doesn’t have the energy to turn his body into your direction but he feels your weight on the bed, as the mattress slightly dips down.

You set the hot chicken noodle soup down on the nightstand and lift the washcloth slightly, to see that Kenma peeks a tired eye at you.

You give him an apologetic smile and offer him the soup.

,,Thanks, I‘ll have some in a bit.“

You can’t help but tease him about his cold.

,,So… who was it again that told me, `Don't worry about it, I won’t get sick, if I lay next to you‘ ?“ You say with a teasing smile on your face.

Kenma just lets out a grunt of annoyance and turns away from you.

,,Shut up.“
