Ngl,I don't like Kataang or Zutara.. DON'T GET ME WRONG! I like both of these ship's potential.

The only reason I shipped Kaatang was so we could get over it. It was so endgame,it was annoying. And Zutara doesn't add anything. It's more of a fanfic thing.

But I like Zukka. Their platonic bond was great,but Suki x Sokka is important. It could work in a platonic sense or a romantic sense.

So,imo,Zukka and Sukka solo <3

The topic is rotating in my brain.

MafuEmu ship is not toxic.

I've heard that before and I've seen their arguments. So, with canon lore, let me debunk their biggest reason:

Emu is Scared of Mafuyu

Tell me you don't know the game without telling me telling me.

Emu is scared of Mafuyu's MASK. Ya know? The thing all people have a version of, but is 99% more common in Autistic people?

See, Emu canonically shows signs of being an empath. Being able to feel other peoples emotions, know how their feeling. So when Mafuyu strolls up with her big ass fake smile to lie about everything being alright, Emu is pit in a place of "do i trust my gut with how she's feeling, or do i trust the words I hear?". Because everyone fell for that mask. Even the rest of Nightcord. Something is wrong, and she isn't sure what.

Emu also canonically KNOWS when Mafuyu's smile becomes genuine. And when she sees the real smiles, she becomes extremely happy to see it.

Which do you think is healthier: masking in front of 99% of the world, almost never stopping and almost always doing so at home too, or being in a relationship where you literally end up with cues to help you unlearn hiding everything.

Also, Emu has stated many times in different materials for the game that she "will make Asahina-Senpai smile". Emu canonically would do anything to make that fake smile leave. And to an extent, we've seen the tame stuff.

Emu would be SO DOWN to help Mafuyu learn emotions again. She would be thrilled. Her whole reason for being in WxS was SPREAD GENUINE SMILES. WxS was FOUNDED on that dream.

In return, Mafuyu can be terrifying. You insult, upset, anger her girl? Good luck not getting a horror movie smile from her.

I cannot tell you how often I hear people say that they're toxic because of that in particular. I wanna say 33% of fans.

A little Izumi approached her dad and her aunt and uncle. Apparently Sokka (her dad),was getting tea with his father in law uncle Iroh. With one question on her cute innocent mind. "Papa,auntie,uncle Aang." She bowed despite not needing to. She was to polite for her own good. Aang chuckled. Zuko smiled. "What is it,Turtleduck?" Katara lifted her up and put her on her lap,while Aang pat her her head.

"I had a question. All my friends have grandparents,do I have any?"

A jolt went up Zuko's spine. Perhaps it was heaven sent? Hell if she was dead in Zuko's opinion. Aang stood there nervously. While Katara tried to come up with a response. "Uh," Katara chuckled nervously. "Well,sweetie..." Zuko took a nervous sip of tea to try to calm himself down.

"And what was Azula like when you were children,papa?"

Zuko spat his tea out and coughed aggressively. Aang stood up to try to help him. Katara waterbend it out of the ground,while Aang tried to slap Zuko's back,rather hurting him instead.

"Well,auntie Azula is good now."

"Was my grandpa a good father?"

Zuko was on the ground,if he wasn't he would be laughing at this ridiculous suggestion. Katara decided to take initiativ.

"Long ago-"

"THERE WERE AWFUL AND SHITTY PEOPLE!"

They turned around to see Sokka standing next to Iroh. Aang swiftly covered Izumi's ears.

"Hi? I'm right here you know?" Azula stated from the back. Chuckling to herself. She walked over to Izumi and took her into her arms. "Good job."

Bonus:

Izumi sat in her papa's lap. "Okay,I'm going to teach you something very important. Alright,repeat after me. Azula always lies,Azula always lies." "Azula always lies."

Azula and Katara peaked through the door,an offended Azula next to a smug,teasing Katara.

Iroh and Aang were lecturing Sokka,that as Izumi's dad,he shouldn't curse in front of her. Albeit,Iroh, slightly kinder than Aang. Toph was laughing her ass off.

Katara is overhated. Yes,I was annoyed when she said,"Then you didn't love her like I did." I used to hate her for it even. But,you have to keep in mind,she's a kid. A kid who was forced to grow up by the world and forced herself to. The world that they live in,considers them adults.

Katara: "I haven't done this since I was a kid!"

Aang: "But you still are a kid!"

Zuko: "You're just a child."

Aang: "And you're just a teenager?"

Plus,not only did she step up and therefore didn't process it in a healthy manner,it's implied she saw her mother's corpse.

Edit: There's also a point that @azulserszzp made,that the entire Gaang made bad decisions! For example,Zuko almost burns down an entire village. Katara is mean for ten seconds AND EVERYBODY HOLDS IT AGAINST HER.
