Just found out this is even more true now with what Gabriel says about Michael and Lucifer being brothers that are eerily similar to Sam and Dean.

So Sam and Dean are almost like Naruto and Sasuke, except instead of being reincarnated as Indra and Ashura, they are the vessels for 2 different sides. Like Sam being the vessel for Lucifer and Dean being the vessel for Michael is so crazy. They were fated to always fight like they did.
