The lack of subtlety in these types of movies is just atrocious... Trying so hard to make her different strips away her relatability, not to mention her likability. We don’t need it shoved down our throats that she’s different, maybe show it to us naturally?? It’s seriously a waste of the many possibilities that a lead female character can have.
