An Octopus's First Impression
I have so much brainrots but im not a good enough writer to put them into actual stories and stuffđ AHHHH TEH PAIN (If it isnt obvious enough I have low confidence in myself with my writing ability TT) But yes, Hello! This is going to be my debut as a twst writer and perhaps for other fandoms too<3 for now I am most comfortable writing for twst though, but please do enjoy your visit on my page!
Azul has yet to make a proper introduction to you
Part II
>GN!ReaderxAzul
[disclaimer] A rather desperate and calculative Tako
[characters] Azul and the other sillies that get in his way X3

When you first arrived at NRC Azul was surely not one of the individuals you'd paid mind to. The first dorm leaders that made their appearances known to your acknowledgment first was Vil because of his striking awe-stunning and jaw dropping beauty, Kalim because of his outward friendliness and radiating-welcoming personality, and lastly Riddle because of his fierce strictness to follow the school rules accordingly (And along with other respective proper and prim mannerisms and clothing rules to abide by whenever your paths were crossed)
Idia of course did not make his presence known and you literally did not know of him only until later after meeting Orthro, and even then you've only heard of him and never actually seen him. I mean cmon, who has honestly?
Leona is always hiding away, lazing around somewhere as he naps away into his own comfort so you dont even encounter him until some magical fateful day, but thats a story for another time :)
Although perhaps meeting him already when everyone is asleep, you arent really formally introduced to Malleus. So until then, you technically havent met Malleus for multiple reasons that are rather lengthy to list.
And then there's Azul. oooooh boy. Despite how interested he is in you regarding your sudden magical predicament and trying to approach you, you somehow always seem to be going astray from your interactions with him
He's tried to approach you, ensuring he'd give a lasting impression on you as he's heading on over to greet you properly
though things dont go as planned when Lilia is suddenly snatching you away to go entertain a certain activity of his out of nowhere
Or when you're being chased by a random Savanaclaw student with a bread bun in your mouth and Grim buried in your side as your arm wraps around him securely, holding about 4x amount of food in his paws (Cater in the background taking pictures of this and posting it on his magicam #delinquent #hungry for some breadbunz #Getting chased #My junior is so cute and trouble some #Uh oh trouble!)
Perhaps if it weren't for those troublesome classmates of yours, ah yes - Ace and Deuce - then you wouldn't be stuck in a tree branch right now with that troubling huntsman below you trying to help you down and he would by now be shaking hands with you
Why are you just all over the place?! You've already met with that Lazy Lion when all he did was sleep on the floor and you miraculously tripped over him, resulting in him catching you in his arms before you fell face first into the hard cobblestoned floor! He didnt even do anything to try and approach you so why is it that despite all his meticulous planning on trying to approach you and make an appearance, it just never happens?! Not only that but you're now indebted to that second prince just for you to do him a solid and fetch him a meat sandwich. Seriously, what a waste of a perfect opportunity
Do you perhaps already know who he is? Is that it? Are you actively trying to avoid him?! You're stressing him out already here Prefect, hello?! Its very important for a business man to expand his connections, you know. You two have never even properly met! Now that wont do at all, he must make his appearance now. Especially when you can offer that lovely little dwelling of yours for a branch of his add on of the Mostro Lounge with some talking and persuasion of course :)
He's been carefully looking over your schedule, trying to figure out what classes you go to at what time and when; will we be able to cross paths here? What about when you head on over to your chem class? You have lunch with who and where? Noted, now he can definitely prepare to approach you now. Is he desperate? Of course not, he's just ought to give you a proper greeting is all! Its not weird that he's trying to remember your schedule and trying to talk to you and-
You're in the library, studying up on some topics you don't quite get in your history class. The library was rather quaint and tranquil, a nice aesthetically pleasing place to help you go over your lessons and to study. You had a test coming up in Professor Trein's class and that was something you did NOT want to fail in again. Failing once or perhaps twice or maybe even a possible third time but who knows was already enough to bring your grade down to get a harsh scolding from Riddle and a sympathetic look from Trey
Your face all in the book, your notes plastered and sprawled out on the side where they rest on the table, and your other needed stationary next to you, you were in a environment where no one was around for you to focus up and study hard
Well, no one around except for Azul
Perfect! This is a great opportunity to approach you now! No one is around and he can even talk up into having you indebted to him by helping you study! This situation is rather perfect if he says so himself
A confident look spreads across his face as he walks on over to you, a perfect and professional air surrounding him
"Good evening Prefect, It's a pleasure to finally meet your acquaintance. I do apologize on interrupting your study session here but I would like the humbling experience to introduce myself."
A nice and firm smile is sprawled on his face as his hand is outstretched towards yours to make a formal shake. You look up from your book and stare at his hand, soon taking it as you sit and ponder only for a second
"Oh, aren't you that guy who couldn't get above 10 inches off the floor while riding his broomstick?"
Crack. After finally being able to introduce himself for GOD KNOWS HOW LONG, you know him for THAT?! For sevens sake! Not as Octavinelle's Dorm leader, BUT "that guy who couldn't get above 10 inches off the floor"
God he wants to go curl away and hide now. His hand flinching as you mention so but you keep a firm hold on his to give him a proper shake, a little oblivious to his faltering demeanor
"I think Floyd mentioned you before too. You're that boss running Mostro Lounge he said right? I think he said your name was-"
"Azul Ashengrotto." Clearing his throat a little before he continues "It's a pleasure to meet you (y/n)" Azul is quick to regain his composure and returns the firm hold. How strong you grip and how long you shake is incredibly important in dealing with business, especially when wanting to make lasting impressions to expand your social networks
In his mind though he wants to quickly eradicate that impression you have about him, and thus he asks to join you - to which you complied - in hopes of overwriting and hopefully making you forget that horrific thing you witness regarding his flight skills
And of course Floyd just had to meet you before he did. Its not really surprising considering his boisterous personality and extroverted behavior when in the mood, but perhaps Jade has also met you then too. Considering that those two tend to be near one another
No, of course he's not feeling bitter that even those two slimy eels met you first. Of course he's not feeling a little irritated that they didnt try to strike you up into making a deal with him. Or maybe the fact that whatever those two were doing they'd at least try to make you two meet! Afterall, he did tell them to send you over once due to his interest in you. But he then adverts his attention back onto you when mention how you are currently studying for an upcoming test
You dont know him at all yet, so you let yourself be completely vulnerable. Looking like the smart and reliable gentleman that he is, you ask him to help you study. Oh how you make it so easy for him, he didnt even need to offer!
With a pleasant smile on his face, his slick and gloved fingers pushing up the frame of his glasses, he happily accepts with a sweet tone in his voice as you both sit together and go over the lessons together

synopsis: wriothesley finds out you have a crush on someone and somehow manages to guess itâs on literally everyone but himself
characters: wriothesley x gn!reader
wc: 1.4k
warnings: fluff, a tiny pinch of angst and insecurity, my poor attempt at humor, slight miscommunication, friends to lovers, coworkers to lovers, swearing, first time writing for wriothesley so he might be ooc
notes: i almost made this angst to fluff but then decided i need to stop adding angst into literally everything i write (even though thereâs like a tiny pinch of angst in here too đ). anyway, wriothesley is a lot harder to write than i thought he would be so i apologize if he seems ooc here

âHeard you gotta crush on someone,â Wriothesley teases as he walks into his office where you sit on one of his couches. You donât even hear him walk in, too engaged in the book you were reading to pass time until you had to go through hundreds of inmate records to find something Neuvillette had requested.
His declaration is so sudden it almost makes you spit out the tea you had stolen from him.
Your eyes go wide as you stare at where he moves to lean against the front of his desk, arms crossed and waiting for an answer with that stupid smirk of his, âHey now, that tea is expensive, so donât go wasting it, okay?â
âWho told you about that?â you press for answers, a hint of anger in your voice as you ignore his previous statement about the tea. He had plenty to spare anyway.
Wriothesleyâs smirk widens a bit, âSo it is true.â
Damn him.
You donât even bother trying to make an excuse, knowing your best friend all too well. Heâd pick apart your words like weeds in a garden, finding meaning in them that you hadnât even intended.
âAnd what if it is true?â you cross your arms defensively, glaring at him from across the room.
âAt least tell me who it is,â he says as he rests his palms on the wooden desk behind him. When you donât give in to his pleading, he playfully scoffs, âOh câmon, Iâm your best friend! Itâs kinda an obligation for you to tell me these things.â
You turn away, fixating your gaze on a nearby wall adorned with some weird painting he had hung awhile back, âOh yeah? Since when? Last I checked there arenât any rule books for being friends with someone. I donât have to tell you a damn thing.â
âItâs Neuvillette, isnât it?â he smiles knowingly. Perhaps that was why you were always the one receiving tasks from the Chief Justice instead of him â a guess at best, but enough evidence to convince him Neuvillette was the one.
No, you idiot. Itâs you.
You snap your head back toward him, âWhat? No! I donât like NeuvilletteâŚnot like that, at least. Heâs nice and all, but I donât think Iâd be able to date the guy.â
âDamn, I really thought I had that one,â Wriothesley mumbles in defeat, pushing himself off the desk and instead moving to walk around the room as he thinks. It scares you. The fact that heâs so particular with facts and little details that itâs only a matter of time before he collects all the pieces to the puzzle and figures out heâs the one you like. What would he say when that happens? âToo nice, huh? So you like someone a little colder, then.â
Damn it, he got you again!
You donât answer him.
âNot even going to try to deny it?â
âNo,â you grumble to yourself, slumping further into the couch, âyouâre only going to dig further anyway.â
He gives a satisfied hum, âRight, so itâs Clorinde then. I mean câmon, we donât get a lot of visitors, so it has to be her. She fits the description too.â
You exhaustedly sigh and swipe a hand over your face dramatically, done with his antics, âItâs not her either. And there is no âdescription.ââ
He perks up in a way that makes you way too uncomfortable, âNavia?â
âNo, Iâve never even met her aside from like one time two years ago,â you refute, sliding further down on the couch to fully lie down and shut your eyes, âI donât get why youâre so excited over this.â
Wriothesley thinks for a moment before squinting his eyes, âDonât tell me you have a crush on a prisoner?â
You teasingly peek an eye open while leaning back to look at him, âAnd if I did?â
âYou better not,â he warns, pointing a stern finger at you like you were a prisoner and not his coworker.
You laugh to yourself at his sudden change of mood, âRelax, I was only joking!â
âNot funny,â he says unamused, prepared to pull out the prisonâs rule book and slap it over your head if you did, âIâm really runninâ out of people here.â
âYeah, okay,â you say sarcastically, resisting the urge to roll your eyes, âthousands of people live in Fontaine. Youâll figure it out eventually.â
You really hope he doesnât.
The following ten minutes consist of Wriothesley irritatingly pacing around the room and mumbling all sorts of names to himself. Some of which you recognized, others you had never even heard of before. And, despite all of your countless noâs to his guesses, he never gives up. Nor does he realize the answer is right in front of him.
âJust give it up already,â you finally interrupt as he stops in front of you.
A heavy sigh falls from Wriothesleyâs lips as he collapses onto the couch, narrowly missing where your legs were outstretched. Defeatedly, he lays his head against the back of the sofa, shutting his eyes as he thinks a little harder. âOh my god,â he says suddenly, head shooting up to look at you, ââŚdonât tell me.â
No way. Did he figure it out?
Your breath captures in your throat as his eyes flicker back and forth between your own, searching for some sort of truth. He knows. Your best friend knows that you have feelings for him â and not just the platonic kind.
His brows furrow and his face morphs into one of disgust. It makes your heart drop; the way heâs looking at you.
He doesnât feel the same way.
âI canât believe it,â he clicks his tongue in disgust, crossing his arms and turning his attention away from you, âyou like Furina.â
Your jaw drops to the floor and suddenly you donât feel bad anymore, âI actually canât believe you just said that. Archons, I think you need to visit Sigewinne. I mean, seriously! Furina? Of all people!â
He grins and shrugs carelessly, âI donât know? She was the last person I could think of.â
âSomething is seriously wrong with you.â
âClearly not so wrong that I couldnât figure out that the person you actually like is me.â
âOh please, I donât evenâwait, what? You knew?!â
A boisterous laugh erupts suddenly as you stare at him with wide eyes. You sit up on the couch quickly, slapping his shoulder as he continues to laugh, âSorry, sorry!â
You donât find it amusing, âIâwhen did you figure it out?â
His laugh eventually subsides into a drawn out sigh and his blue eyes soften a bit as they gaze into your own, âIâm not an idiot, you know? I wouldnât be running this place if I was.â
âRight,â you mumble awkwardly, averting your gaze from his, âso, um, were you just doing all that to lighten the mood so you could let me down easily orâŚ?â
âOrâŚwhat?â Wriothesley mocks you, a playful smirk pulling at his lips.
You roll your eyes with a scoff, âdonât make me say it.â
He spares you, luckily. Itâs unlike him, but he doesnât care to joke with you any longer when the subject is so serious, âYes, I feel the same way. Is that what you wanted to hear?â
âNo, I totally wanted to hear you say you hate me and want me dead,â you say sarcastically, trying to fight a smile.
âIâm being serious, I really do like you,â Wriothesley presses, ignoring the way youâre becoming awkward from the nervousness floating in the air.
You finally exhale the breath you had been guarding in your chest, relieved that this didnât go as horribly as you once thought it would.
The alarm sounding for dinner goes off after and you both stand from your places on the couch, âSo what do we do now that thatâs out of the way?â
Wriothesley falls into step next to you, holding the doors to his office open to let you out first, âWe have our first date in the cafeteria, of course.â
Your face drops and you stop in your tracks to glare at him, âThat better be a joke.â
He laughs it off quickly, not thinking youâd take it so seriously. Eagerly, he grabs your hand tightly in his as he pulls you to the exit of the Fortress, âRelax, Iâm just teasing you! You deserve only the best, after all.â
âYou are so annoying.â
âOnly for you, sweetheart.â
Shrimply Yours~

In which you invoke your shrimp privileges to cheer Floyd up.
Floyd x GN Reader! Enjoy, shrimpies!!~
âââââ
âYâknow Floyd, Iâd say youâre the shrimp, not me.â
Maybe you really did have a death-by-squeezing wish. Or maybe your plot-armor protection had finally worn off. The eel in question lifted his head slowly at your words and side-eyed you, his golden eye glinting ominously in the Mostro Lounge kitchenâs light.
Youâd been washing the dishes after asking Azul for a job in exchange for a little extra madol on the side. For the most part, your day had been as peaceful as it couldâve (the life of a magicless prefect was always maniacal), until you heard arguing from outside the kitchen. You all but jumped when Floyd slammed the door open and wordlessly stalked to the stove, and you spotted Azul walking off shaking his head to himself. Floyd shoved pan on the heat and began frying something, completely ignoring your presence. Was it even possible to fry chicken so aggressively?
In any case, Floyd seemed a little more volatile than usual at the moment, even considering it was him. The other students whoâd been in the kitchen with you before had scuttled out before Floyd could snap at them too. But in any case, you knew that Floydâs mood flipped faster than Crowley leaving all his work to you. So, you thought youâd try to lighten the mood.
At your words, Floyd slowly brought his head up from his deep-frying, golden-and-olive colored eyes zeroing in on you, baring his sharp, shiny teeth at you in a scowl. And in that split second, you suddenly remembered that Floyd was, in fact, a mer-eel. Moray, specifically. A predator. A predator that probably ate shrimpies like you. Who was now looking at you predatorily.
âWhat did ya just say, shrimpy?â His pupils were practically pin-pricks, and for a moment you swore you could hear the Jaws theme song in your head. You could remember, time and time again, your friends and upperclassmen telling you not to engage Floyd when he was in one of his moods. Even up until now, youâd never been on the awful end of his anger, especially alone. But you werenât called beast-tamer for nothing, damn it, and maybe that title could extend to taming angry Floydâs too. An angry Floyd that was still your friend.
âI said, youâre the shrimp, not me.â You maintained eye-contact with him, almost challenging him, âcome at me, bro.â You tried to keep a straight face, although you were deflating rapidly by the second because by Sevens this was so stupid but-
âBecause youâre shrimply amazing.â
One second passed. Two. Three.
Then Floyd broke into a wide, sharp-toothed grin. He surged towards you, completely forgetting the frying food. âDâawww, SHRIMPY!!!â
He swooped behind you, wrapping his arms around you and picking you up. Your legs flailed around and now your arms were locked in as Floyd spun around the kitchen haphazardly with you in his arms. âShrimpy knows just how to cheer me up! I knew this is why I kept you around!â He laughed cheerily, bobbing you up and down.
âFLOYD!â You cried, âPUT ME DOWN-â the kitchen swirled crazily around you, as Floyd babbled some song or other cheerfully. Thankfully heâd stopped spinning, but began shaking you side to side while humming, âShrimpyâs so brave nâ nice, all the other guppies left when they saw me but only Shrimpy stayed!â
He started pouting, and squished his cheek into yours. âAzul was beinâ mean to me, making me work now. Just âcause I roughed up a few customers doesnât mean it was my fault! They shoulda been nice to me~â
Even though you were basically suspended in the air by him, you smiled at Floydâs words. âGlad I could help Floyd, that was so mean of Azul,â you consoled him, hoping heâd put you down. He bent over until your feet were safely on the sweet, sweet ground, but didnât let you go from his arms. The two of you swayed together, basking in each otherâs company in the subpar lighting of the kitchen, until you frowned.
ââŚHey, is something burning?â
âAh shit, I burned the chicken.â

patching up
a/n: i think ik who my newest obsession is, gl on his banner!!

sigwinne sincerely has positive adjectives that she could use to describe the duke.
but at the moment, sheâs certain that she certainly has more less than pleasant words in mind.
âyour grace, please let me see your injury.â
incorrigible, aggravating, distressing, burdensome, enraging, stubborn-
âiâm fine, it's just a scratchâ
a brat.
sheâs really not sure how much longer she could keep her sanity with how headstrong wriothesley currently is, dismissing the very obvious gash on his chest accompanied with the VERY obvious pool of red staining his dark shirt around it. all she had wanted was to patch up the scratch so that it would not become infected - he should be grateful that she hadn't planned to mix up a new concoction for him to drink.
âsigwinne? is there something wrong?â your voice echos off the chambers of the hall, perking up both of their attentions. ah, sheâs thought of a new idea. her eyes bore into his, reaching to be able to whisper in his ear.
âyou know, i recently had an interesting conversation with her recently.â she knows the duke is interested in her next words. âshe told me that sheâs always wanted a man who is strong enough to carry her on her wedding day in her wedding dress.â she pulls back to see if the pieces of the puzzle clicked in his brain, yet the only thing she received is a slightly interested yet confused expression staring back at her. her eye twitches.
â well, that means she's definitely looking at a certain prospect for her future lover, correct?â his eyes widen in realization. bingo.
âsigwinne? and your grace? what's wrong?â you finally appear at the door of the infirmary, your heels clanking against the metal floor as you descend the stairs.
âoh nothing much~â sigwinne replies, âjust patching up this small scratch his grace sustained.â she grins in victory when she noticed wriothesley peel off the layers on his torso, leaving his chest bare and the gash finally accessible to treat. sigwinne can feel the heart jump out of wriothesleyâs chest when your eyes sweep over to his form, and finally rest your stare dead on his chest (it's really just looking at the terrible wound but she supposes a man can dream).
âwould you like to practice your skills on patching wounds? i'm sure his grace would not mind.â
âoh, if it is alright with him i suppose i would like to try.â
âmmhâ wriothesley feels a little pathetic when he can't muster more than an affirmative nod, lest he shows he's desperate for you to be closer in proximity to him. how could he pass up this opportunity?
you beam at him, slightly bowing in gratitude before reaching for materials to work with. sigwinne skips to her desk, eager to observe from the side how much the duke is able to hold in. she observes how the duke shivers when your cold fingers press against his skin to observe the scratch, how his pale eyes trace your every movement and rests on your face more often than not, how he lightly moves to press himself closer to your hands whenever he could.
if she didn't know better, it looked as if the duke of the meropide fortress became a dog, chasing for the attention of its owner. oh how she can't wait to experiment more of how the duke completely melts around your presence, hopelessly pining for someone he believes wouldn't love a man like him, even though she can clearly see traces of pink tint your ears, hiding behind tuffs of hair.

sleepyhead. (version one.)

in which you can fall asleep at the drop of a hat, at the most unconventional of places, which is how the traveller and paimon find out about your relationship with him.

pairing. neuvillette, scaramouche x gn reader
tags. fluff, slight(?) crack, established relationship
notes. if scaras part doesn't make sense i apologize in advance
alhaitham & lyney vers.

âNeuvillette, there's a â Wait. You're not NeuvilletteâŚ?â
Aether and Paimon stare at the sight, slightly dumbstruck. You're sprawled over the Chief Justice's desk, hair splayed over your face as you sleep. Your head rests on top of a few documents, and you're curled up in his seat as if it was exactly where you belonged.
Paimon frowns, floating over to you. She gives your shoulder a poke. You don't react. âShould we wake themâŚ? Paimon doesn't think people are allowed to sleep in here, anyway.â
Aether disagrees. You wouldn't have been allowed in here if you didn't have something to do, right? That explained your presence, but it didn't explain why you were asleep in Neuvillette's chair⌠Besides, where was he?
Speak of the devil. Or, rather, dragon. The office door cracks open, and the man of the hour strides in.
âNeuvillette, there's someone sleeping on your desk!â Paimon informs him, âShould we wake them up?â
It's almost imperceptible, but Aether's gaze is sharp, and he catches the way the Iudex' eyes soften. He shakes his head. âNo, leave them be. They will wake on their own accord.â
Paimon huffs. âThat position definitely can't be comfortable⌠I say we move them to the couch there!â
Neuvillette seems to agree. Lifting you bridal style, he sets you on the couch gently. Swiftly, he pulls out a thick quilt from a cupboard and drapes it over you.
âYou even have a blanket?!â Paimon squeaks, a little too loud. âWho even are they!?â
âMy partner, of course.â
âYOUR PARTNER??â
Well, that was unexpected.
You stir.
Then, you bolt upright, leaping from the couch, eyes wide as your gaze lands on Neuvillette. âShit, I fell asleep again, didn't I? I didn't mean to! I was going to surprise you but your chair is definitely too comfy for that and ââ
He doesn't take more than three steps to reach you, easily snaking a hand around your waist. He only has to dip his head and his nose brushes against yours, silencing anything you had to say.
Aether has the strangest feeling that he's intruding on something too private.
âI assure you,â he murmurs lowly, âSeeing you is always a pleasant experience, surprise or no.â
You choke slightly, clearing your throat. âDon't be a sap.â
The both of you fall silent, just gazing into each other's eyes.
âUhm,â Paimon interrupts awkwardly.
You screech, startling, head whipping back to see them. âYou had guests over?! This is embarrassing. I'm leaving. Ta-ta!â
You bolt out of the room before anyone has any time to react.
âWas no one gonna tell me you were dating someone?!â Paimon accuses.
âThen, I must inform you that we are married.â There's a hint of a smile on Neuvillette's face now, as his eyes flicker toward the half-open door.
âI'm sorry, WHAT?â

âHey, Aether, isn't that Hat Guy??â Paimon pipes in, pointing at Wanderer, formerly Scaramouche. âHe looks really mad. Let's go see what he's up to.â
He did look mad. Furious, even. It's an odd expression to see on his face when Aether's used to his usual disinterest or mockery.
ExceptâŚ
âWait, he's walking towards someone. A sleeping someone. That's not good! We have to save them!â
The both of them rush up to him, interrupting his march toward his target. Aether stands in between you and Wanderer, acting as some sort of shield.
âWhat are you doing?â Aether asks.
Wanderer only scowls, swatting at him. âGet out of my way, you mewling quim.â
âNo! We can't let you hurt them!â Paimon cries. âThey're not even armed. They're asleep!â
He stops short at that. Confusion floods his features, which quickly morph into disbelief. âHurt them? I'd never. Get. Out. Of. My. Way.â
Aether doesn't relent. The guy looks entirely too murderous to not hurt anyone. âWhat's up with them, then?â
Venomously, his lips part, probably to spew some insult but he's interrupted by a soft voice, thick with sleep.
âKuniâŚ?â
The change is instantaneous. Wanderer goes slack immediately, the usual tension gone. He brushes past Aether quickly.
âIdiot. Why were you sleeping here?â he snarks without bite, crouching down to your level.
That is a good question. You're at the outskirts of Sumeru city, dead asleep under a tree and against a rock. âYea,â Paimon agrees, âWhy are you sleeping here?â
You all but collapse into Wanderer's arms. He stiffens, and everyone can see his internal battle of whether to reciprocate or push you away.
He chooses the latter, sitting on the ground so that you're half in his lap. The shock is palpable between Paimon and the blond.
You glance upward at Aether and Paimon almost lazily, a casual smile on your face. âI was waiting for Kuni here, and I got tired.â
âHere is no place to fall asleep,â he snaps, but the effect is ruined due to the fact that you're in his lap. âYou can sleep at home. You have a bed for a reason.â
âGeez, just say you were worried,â you lament lightheartedly.
Aether sits too, and Paimon follows. âWhy were you waiting anyway?â
âWe were gonna have a picnic! I have the basket right ââ you turn to the ground near the tree, only to find it bare. You sigh, disappointed. âOh. It's gone.â
âNevermind that,â Wanderer sighs. âThis'll serve as a reminder not to sleep outdoors like some street rat. We can get lunch at a cafe.â
âOkay, but is no one going to comment on this?â Paimon flails an arm between the two of you, and your positions especially. âBecause this is just weird. Like. What is happening?!â
Wanderer turns his gaze onto her, violet eyes electrifying. âSpeak one word of this and you'll never see the light of day again.â
Damn, okay then.
