You ever have one of those days where, if you thought about anything other than your fandom/otp/hobby/what have you, you would just fucking kill yourself because the realization that life isn't getting better and nothing else can even make you smile anymore is so crushing, death seems like a preferable alternative? Like there is nothing, NOTHING short of some kind of weird miracle that only happens to people shojou manga, that could possibly make life better. Not even great, just bearable to the point that you don't regret waking up. And the only thing that keeps you from plotting how to NOT wake up the next day is obsessing over something everyone around you calls "stupid" and "pointless". And when someone says, "Do you ever think about anything serious, or do you just spend all your time thinking about your stupid cartoons?" you just want to break their legs and watch them writhe in misery so they can maybe understand what you're REALLY thinking about.

However, it WILL be a standard short story length. - I will NOT write the following: * Incest * Rape * Abuse * Paedophilia * Gore (if in battle, exceptions will be made) * Torture * Murder (again, exceptions can be made for battle) * Furry or bestiality

- I WILL write the following * Fluff * Angst * OTP’s or pairings from any fandom I’m familiar with (so I can accurately portray the characters!) * OC’s or original stories based on OC’s (with enough detail provided to work with) * Smut (tastefully)

* Anything else, so long as it doesn’t violate the above mentioned topics on the will not write list.

Due to the fact that I work full time, I will take at least a week after the give away to finish your fic. If research is involved, that time frame will be longer.

Bats are literally my absolute favorite animals on this planet. I went through a pony phase and a dolphin phase (like most little girls who overdosed on Lissa Frank), but when I read a book on bats in the fourth grade, that was it. I was in love

why are bats stigmatized as being creepy?

I mean

look at these things

they’re like tiny

fluffy

dragons

but instead of breathing fire they squeak and cuddle 

in caves

and leaves

and they have funny ears and noses

I mean really
