It/its/ze/hir/they/them/cor/corpse/haunt/haunts/hallow/hallows/rot/rots/hell/hells (any pronouns are fine, however. ask which nounself sets are okay, I tend to lean away from sets like bun/buns). Adult. Not a safe space for TERFs, the labrys flag is not your hate symbol by the way. I use this blog for whatever I want, mostly screaming into the void and uplifting obscure queer identities. Warframe and Sonic content likely. Scary transandrophobia truther. More in pinned. "drag Kings Are Boring, They Just Look Like Normal Guys." This Is Not True For All Drag Kings, But It

"drag kings are boring, they just look like normal guys." this is not true for all drag kings, but it is only boring to you because you have failed to realize that manhood and masculinity also require constant over-performance around the clock, especially with strangers you don't even plan on getting to know.

these things look "normal and dull" to certain folks because they haven't had to live through what it's like to have to literally perform manhood for every single person you meet, because it's expected of you to be stoic, strong, and "manly," and a lot of that is reflected in clothing and personal grooming as well. our society has such a rigid view of manhood that there is basically no wiggle room for personal expression in interests and activities that are not traditionally "manly". men are told they are not men if they do not uphold these traits.

this is a performance.

gender is a performance no matter what you identify as. men and mascs have to over-perform manhood as well, just as women have to, trans or cis.

hey quick reminder to queer inclus people that when you’re talking about lesbians you’re talking about ALL lesbians. i say this because a lot of people say “transmasc people and trans men” when talking about lesbians who are men, and… you guys see trans men as men, right? because all men can be lesbians, including cis men.

same thing goes for gay women. cis women can be gay too. sexuality is made up!! do whatever you want forever

(queer exclus fuck off i’ll block you ❤️)

Again, fuck those who are anti sex work. I dare say it's ableist to bar people from doing sex work, and here's why: not everyone can do nine to fives or fast food jobs. Sex work, when in a good environment, can be the less taxing alternative to busting your ass in an office job. It's not just a liberation issue at this point; if you're anti sex work, you're actively making it harder for disabled people to stay afloat.

Sex work isn't 'lazy', it is a valid alternative to constant burnout and strain on your body. And even for those who aren't disabled, having that alternative is important.

(this take does not take into account prostitution and being a stripper, two things that require more physical engagement than online sex work. However, these are still valid and acceptable forms of work that should be respected, and may even still be less strenuous on one's body than other work)

In the community's attempt to uplift loveless aros, we have created a very rigid idea of what it means to be loveless and, by proxy, what it means to be aro in general. I know people who constantly feel not aro enough or loveless enough, and it's all because they don't adhere to the love negative views the community seems so obsessed with leveraging. Sometimes I fully expect to hear an accusation of cooties get thrown around with how mature some of y'all be acting.

As an aplspec, loveless individual who has been scarred time and time again by those who claimed to love me, trauma is NO EXCUSE to push out love and/or romance favorable aros. Again, in the attempt to not leave out loveless voices, we have created a rigid standard of what it 'means' to be loveless... and that HURTS loveless people! If you have the audacity to call this out in any way, you'll get some self pitying asshole in your notes putting words in your mouth and being otherwise aggressive. I've seen it happen multiple times to ONE group of people. You'll be told you're throwing your community under the bus for speaking out, have your words cherrypicked and the rest glossed over, and told that 'erm actually, this thing I've been told is actively harming members of my own community is not bad and you're just a meanie bigot!'

Please do better in realizing that your language is already a weapon.
