NO BECAUSE IVE DWELLING ON THIS
The panel right before this one, he is off in the back ground and he looks so dark and gloomy. Everyone else is staring ahead but he is looking down.
Everyone is frozen, no one knows what to do and they are in danger. Ashlyn feels responsible for all of this and (I believe) she wants to try to help Ryan, she wants revenge against Jasmine but they need to escape. Everyone is so caught up in the moment, in panic, anger, frustration, so no one moves. Aiden is the crazy one, the lunitic, he doesnt think before he does things (prime example, jumping off the fucking WALL) but when no one was thinking, he stepped up, he made a decision everyone else was unable to make because they had to move. But if he had gone by himself, if he had just walked away, everyone would be concerned "what is this idiot doing" "where is he going, hes going to get himself hurt" but he took Ashlyn with him. He didnt hesitant to pull her along. She trusts him to do so, although she may see him as a moron, she trusts him because yes he is impulsive and reckless but one thing he is not, inconsiderate. She knows this because the pure panic he had when she got taken on the roof, the fear he had when he fought to get her back. He would never put her or the group in danger. She was, in a brief moment, unable to lead them, so he did it for her. The safest thing to do was to run, the only way they all 100% could get out is to run. The infected were coming, the staff had guns and was hunting them, there was no option but running. He was not going to let anyone get hurt again.
Chapter 86 spoilers

He always does the most

You cannot tell me he doesn't love Midoriya Izuku. There's so much yearning in the soft way he says, Izuku.
Katsuki in love. There are no other thoughts inside that head, only Izuku.
He is dying, and he only cares about Izuku. He is dying, and he mourns the loss of a future with Izuku.
This Katsuki is already thinking about "for the rest of our lives" with Izuku.
This poor little gay boy made sure they put him in the same team as his Izuku for the final battle because there was a tiny part of his brain that probably thought "I might not make it, but I'll be with Izuku until the very end."
But Izuku is not there, and Katsuki cannot bear the thought of spending his finally moments without him, so he talks to him as if he's there. He pretends Izuku is there with him.
are we getting closer to this in canon ?
(yk since they want to escape and also what they said in ep 86)

one of my favorite things to do in limited perspective is write sentences about the things someone doesn't do. he doesn't open his eyes. he doesn't reach out. i LOVE sentences like that. if it's describing the narrator, it's a reflection of their desires, something they're holding themselves back from. there's a tension between urge and action. it makes you ask why they wanted or felt compelled to do that, and also why they ultimately didn't. and if it's describing someone else, it tells you about the narrator's expectations. how they perceive that other person or their relationship. what they thought the other person was going to do, or thought the other person should have done, but failed to. negative action sentences are everything.
I was rereading SBG and in chapter 39, Aiden says "you seem like the type of person to only get close to those who are special to you, and I dont know how to go about that" (paraphrased)
This man is literally telling her, TO HER FACE that he wants to be someone special to her. He is so clueless when it comes to emotional interactions and just relationships in general. He doesnt know what it is to truly have a friend, and he seems scared of messing it up. He blames himself for her getting hurt and he admits he was the problem and apologizes. He basically tells her 'I care about you and I want us to be close but I have no idea what Im doing, help me to be someone to you, help me learn how to be someone for you'
AHHHH Im probably reading too much into this but as someone who didnt have friends until I was like 14, I know how easy it is to desperately cling to someone and hope with everything in your heart that they care as much as you do. He definitely seems to be doing that here and it makes my heart hurt š
How I see it is that they do care for their son, they love him but they dont have a relationship with him. When he woke up from dying, his mother was panicking and he ignored her to check on Ashlyn, a girl hes know for what, 3 months if that. He was more concernedfor a friend he barely knows than he was about seeing his parents. Again at the hospital, she called for them to leave and he ignores her. Even when he wakes up after passing out, he doesn't reall pay attention to them, focused on Ashlyn blaming herself and bullying Tyler. I think he cares for his parents sure but how can you have a relationship with someone who is never around. Then his father seems barely present when he is there (in my opinion at least). The scene that really pisses me off is when they compare their son and other children being in life or death situations nightly to a mix up at work. Obviously they are privileged people, nothing wrong with that, but how can you be so sheltered from reality that all you can compare death to is extra paper prints? It hints that Aiden may have depression or at least felt incredibly lonely, they never noticed that. You cannot convince me they picked up on his emotional needs because they said things like "he used to be a quiet kid" and never questioned if he was okay. They may not be intentionally hurting him, but they are bad parents. That and Jessica just annoys me. I just think they are ignorant and believe that because Aiden has a "good" home that he doesnt have problems. They provide food and shelter and money, what else could a child need? One thing I think is important to keep in mind, why would Red write it out like this if it was not supposed to be delved into, there is no point in making them look bad if they are truly good parents. Why hint at these things if thats not whats going on in the background? Its obvious they have a rough relationship, and I think that comes from them probably not expecting to have had a child and being emotionally immature. I dont necessarily think its their fault or blame them, they are probably genuinely doing their best, but just dont stop to think of Aiden individually. š¤·āāļø I digress
am I the only one who thinks Aidenās parents were nicer than people think?
Disclaimer: this probably makes no sense because I made this sleep-deprived but still wanted to post it
Iāve seen and read a lot of fics, posts, etc. about Aidenās parents being neglectful, rude, or forcing etiquette onto Aiden but thereās no way Iām the only one who thinks otherwise.

In (S2) Ep. 61, we see a glimpse of Aidenās āchildhoodā of him as a child curled up on the bed in a messy room. This scene just made me think overall that Daniel and Jessica can try their best as parents but overall, they have horrible parenting skills.
In the same episode, we see how much they care for Aiden. Daniel and Jessica begin to panic when Aiden starts seizing and you can see it plain on their faces.

Theyāre both reaching out to him and maybe itās because theyāre his son so their brain automatically creates this worry but they wouldnāt be like this if they didnāt care.

But in the next episode, we can see that Daniel is sitting on the couch while watching over Aiden who is sleeping. Heās clearly worried for his son and no one can make me think otherwise, that one panel is everything to me.
Even at the hospital, once Taylor starts shouting at them and they see the phantoms out the window, Jessica wants to leave with Aiden. Might be a small detail but Iām gonna use it for my argument (I donāt know if thatās the right word).

When we see younger Aiden who seems expressionless in the family photo, I think it would be safe to assume he was forced into that position, right? In my opinion, it couldāve just been him wanting to make his parents proud rather than being forced, or I think this case would be half-forced.

In episode 78, Daniel and Jessicaās first concern is the state of their son who is passed out and is aware that he died in the phantom dimension (which they are in), they would be pretty worried. They rather hear an explanation for Aidenās state than how or why they are also stuck in the dimension.
Looking further into Daniel and Jessicaās parenting skills or issues, they probably havenāt seen the issue or fault in their parenting. They allowed Aiden freedom by giving him allowance, letting him dye his hair at a young age (guessing around grade 7 or 8), and letting him get red eye contacts.
But at the same time, theyāre barely there. I think parents assume kids are fine or overreacting when seeing them in a state of deep sadness and they mustāve gone through the same thinking process.
In the end, I think Jessica and Daniel love Aiden very much. No one can change my mind.
No one can tell me they abuse him, insult himāhe literally has the same eyes as his fatherā or I donāt know what anyone else has said.
Daniel and Jessica love Aiden they just need to up their parenting skills or needed to.
I cannot express how accurate this edit it, I adore this
I made an Aidlyn edit

I adore all of these so much

some jerk forced me to read school bus graveyard 2 days ago, i'm NOT okay š
Ok I just made myself so sad. I'm sitting here listening to The Devil Wears Prada : Louder Than Thunder and I imagined Aiden laying in bed screaming this song into an empty house.
"Are we meant to be empty handed, I know I could, I could be better, I dont think I deserve it"
This kid probably so desperately wanted a house full of a family being obnoxious and annoying over all the things he dealt with in his head.
If he truly was s**cidal than I feel like he would have had a lot of those moments (I remember laying in bed crying to this song, maybe I'm just reflectingš )
I thought about this forever ago and no one has done it so I attempted to do it myself š

This just feels so them coded. For a 3 hour project I'm really proud of it :)
The original ā¬ļø

I am not over this. Aiden and Taylor were so ready to kill a man. Like yeah Ben ran at him too, but he wasnt so controlled by anger to not think. That is the face of a person ready to murder a human being no second thoughts. I love it and hate it. Like yes protect your girl but also the trauma you have to go through to get to this point š
Fast pass spoiler aidelyn

God he was SO mad
like: RGRRHR GET THE F*CK AWAY FROM HER š¹š¹š¹

HE'S LIKE AN ANGRY CAT WITH RABIES
AND I WILL DRAW THIS š¹š¹š¹š¹
This will be my second post on here! So, here are my sbg headcannons:)
Taylor+Aiden gossip besties and sometimes they drag Ash and/or Logan with them
Taylor LOVES K-pop and always tries to teach the others dances.
Ash EATS every single time
Aiden is actually really good(like suspiciously good) (did he practice beforehand?)
Ben and Logan are decent but not great
Tyler couldnāt stand on one leg to save his life there is NO WAY heās getting through K-pop choreo
They were all hanging out one day and Logan just started crying because he was so grateful for all of them
Logan+Ash siblings go
Logan has a different flower assigned to each member of the group and doodles them whenever heās missing the others
Ben knows how to do hair(because of lily) and Taylor and Ash always have amazing hairstyles after hanging out with him
The group is trying their best to learn ASL so they can communicate with Ben more easily
Tyler has broken at least 5 bones in his life
Aiden has broken none
Ben almost died once because he fell asleep with wired earbuds in and choked himself
Party rock anthem once played at a school dance. They never recovered.
Aiden can do a backflip
Aiden canāt write. Not like heās fully unable to do the act of writing but like, he canāt write an essay. Partly because he looses motivation and concentration half way through and partly because itāll just be incomprehensible by the end.
The twins 100% have abandonment issues
Aiden owns a katana
The twins totally have a secret handshake
They also most definitely had a case of cryptophasia
Logan got increasingly more strange as the group got to know him
I love writing because sometimes its like this

And then other times... š

Things I want to happen school bus graveyard
ā¢ Aiden to lose it and go apeshit one someone (phantom or a person)
ā¢ for Ashlyn to be genuinely happy for more than one panel š„²
ā¢ Ben to say something (whispering or yelling, maybe sometime happens and he no longer cares what he sounds like/ how bad it hurts)
ā¢ ( specifically in the facility ) one of them to get fatally hurt and the others all desperatly trying to break out of their rooms/break the lock ( I dont really want anyone to die but I think it would make for a great scene for them to use like the dresser drawers or something to bust out)
ā¢ For Taylor to save the day via mechanical skills (escape car?)
ā¢ For the parents (specifically Jessica š ) to finally understand the extent of what their kids have gone through
Ive been on a drawing binge of sbg fanart š

The first one is just a silly pic if them flexing at Ashlyns ballet practice. Got inspired by Full Metal alchemist for the second one.
Gonna throw up If I can't talk about them-
Bunch of Aiden analysis under the cut because he's just SO OBSESSED CODED AND NOBODY TALKS ABOUT IT š (I will be very weird about it)
The way it's so doomed from the start. He's already so fascinated by her. It's in the little jump he does when she sits in front of him, like a secret they're both in on, like her sitting in front of him is some obscure way of her inviting him into a conversation.

Why is he like this (not positive but not negative either)
He has such a cocktail of personality traits and, most certainly, mental disorders, and his own history that makes it so, when he's in love, that it WILL blow up in his face.
The fact that he's been homeschooled for his entire life- he has no idea. HE DOESNT EVEN KNOW. He doesnt realize that its not normal. of course he doesn't :( His parents obviously leave him alone for long stretches of time and he doesn't seem to mind this. He hasn't had the chance to develop his social skills at all-
It's why he's so, let's be real, creepy. Ash makes it very clear she's not interested and he just keeps worming his way into her life. He plots so that she'll go on the field trip, he follows her around, he goes to her fucking house on the first day. LIKE, HELLO? RED FLAG?
He's having evil thoughts here I swear š

And already so quickly after meeting her he makes Ash his priority. He asks to sit next to her, he engages and makes an effort to talk to her. Tries to joke around with her. Gives her a nickname. Touches her. He's so touchy.
And defends her!!! When Tyler gets pissed at Ash, he honestly goes off on him even tho he KNOWS Ash can defend herself- and he's so...dark about it. There's a threat hidden behind his words. He's MAD here, right? Tell me I'm not crazy, please-

He also very clearly has violence on the forefront of his mind š He's the first one to actively attack the phantoms; not to defend himself, not to defend somebody else (well, he pulls Ash out of the way), but for fun. And he's disappointed when they don't scream. He's sadistic, he likes causing pain, it's something he relishes in.
I mean look at how he smiles!!! None of the other kids have such an...active ENJOYMENT in fighting the phantoms, but for Aiden, it's almost like he finds relief in it, some way to vent out his frustrations. He's eager for a fight, for a thrill.

That's how Aiden sustains himself, he pretty much operates under "I'm here for a good time, not a long time." Everything he does gives him a boost of adrenaline, no matter the consequences. He got into a fight? Eh, who cares about all the bruises, at least it got his blood rushing. Broke a bone while doing parkour or smth? Whatever, the way his stomach dropped when he was falling as totally worth it.
It's a very dangerous mentality to live with, obviously. He's an adrenaline junkie. He's an addict. More than anything else, Aiden wants something that makes him feel alive.
And what makes you feel more alive than love?
Like not to minimise or anything but he's known her for like. 2-3 months- and he's already SO scared of losing her. Like I just don't think he would have had this type of reaction with anybody else besides Ben. He would have absolutely lost his shit if Ash 'died'.

He's a straight up love junkie. He's obsessive. Nothing beats the high love can give you. It overrules everything else. If Ash (or whoever he's interested in) feels bad because of smth, he's done with it.
He LIKED dying. He LIKED the adrenaline rush. But he won't do it again. Not because he had some realization that he didn't want to die, that he still wanted to live and do things, but because Ash was upset. Because this, this rush of care from her part, the way she was so scared of him dying that she was shaking, nothing could fill the hole in his heart better than that. And now that he has a taste for it, he won't let go easy. He will keep on living- if it means Ash will be by his side.

Which is a very dangerous position to put her in. Ash already feels responsible for her friends, and she doesn't even know that Aiden has "put" his life in her hands, not that it's her responsibility, because it isn't, but she will certainly feel responsible if Aiden does something FOR her.
Like He's so fucking obsessed and he doesn't even realize it- like look at how he sees her š THE HEAVENLY GLOOOOOOW, LIKE SHES AN ANGEL AND HE THINKS SHE CAN SAVE HIM. BABY SHE CANT, YOU HAVE TO SAVE YOURSELF.

He could spiral so fucking bad. He could do some absolutely heinous things. Because he just doesn't know. He doesn't know how to love truly, yet. For him love really is that rush of adrenaline, the knife carving out his heart, he could be putty in her hands, or her executioner. This love that can be so obsessive, that he NEEDS it to function, like its water, like its the air he breathes. Its a compulsion, a fixation, a longing that burrows into your very soul. Ash doesn't even know what she's getting herself into-
Godddddd, it makes me so sick/ pos, it's SO FUCKING INTERESTINGGGGGG. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.
I literally cannot function around this drawing š«

The. The hand. That way he's grabbing her. He's pulling her back. Towards HIM. like "this is mine. And I'm not sharing." And that little fucking look in his eyes, he just looks SO fucking pleased with himself. And Ash looks so...resigned. they're so doomed-coded, i love them so bad.
I don't know how I was supposed to NOT make a killer au, when he's just...like that around her.
Love is a wonderful thing. But love is also cruel, it is vicious, it is possessive and obsessive, and it will leave carnage in its wake.
Romantic love is an obsession. It possesses you. You lose your sense of self. You cannot stop thinking about another human being. -Helen Fisher
Ok, so I've watched Link Click a few times now. And one thing I don't think it really explains is how Lu guang sees the photo. Cxs basically possesses the person who took it so does Lu guang see it only as the photographer sees it. This bit confuses me but I think I get it. My main question, if the person he is watching the past through goes to sleep or is unconscious in those twelve hours, would be not able to see similar to when the little boy was knocked out? This could get them in trouble, right? Lu guang couldnt see what was going on and cxs dives and wakes up to investigate and all hell could break loose and Lu Guang couldn't fix or guide cxs through any of it because he doesn't know. But theres also how protective he is, he may just not let cxs dive because they have no idea what could happen.
Just an idea of what I mean: A client comes in asking if they could find his daughter. He gives a picture of her off her social media from the day she went missing.
Lu guang looks through it and 4 hours in, everything goes black and nothing can be seen throughout the rest of the photo. However near the last 2 hours, he can hear talking. Cheng decides he wants to dive and manages to convince Lu guang.
After he get knocked out as the missing girl, Lu guang continues to talk to him, eventually waking him up earlier than original. Hes blindfolded and the room is silent and cold. Hes tied up. He can't clap, he can't see, and he has no idea where he is. And Lu guang doesn't know what is going to happen.
Hours pass and Cheng is unable to break free. And eventually the talking starts. A low mumbling from multiple people approaching the room he's held captive in. The twelve hours is almost up. Cheng is starting to panic but wants to get some kind of information.
"What are you, cowards? Too afraid to show your face to your victim?" His voice is shaky but hes determined to see at least the smallest amount. He ignores Lu guang calls to not escalate the situation. His blindflod gets ripped off. And he can see their faces. The small garage they are in. Time is almost out, only a moment left. He looks up and sees the barrel of a gun and feels the bullet hit him at the same moment time runs out. He falls back next to Lu guang in a pure panic. The feeling of a bullet running through his brain causes him to break down into a full panic attack, lashing out as Lu guang tries to comfort him.
"Breath, your safe. Your home. I got you." Cheng calms down enough for lu guang to pull him into a hug "I didn't know, Im so sorry"
Never lose sight of why you started
The thing about writing is weāre taught to write in a very specific way as children that is deemed as the ācorrectā way. And itās so important to have those fundamentals ā to know how sentences are constructed and what is proper paragraph structure and to become familiar with grammar. Those are essential building blocks.
But because schools have to focus on essay writing and technicalities and whatever is needed for the latest standardized test, itās often the only way we learn how to write when thereās so many ways to write. Thereās technical writing, journalistic writing but also editorial writing, copywriting, letter writing, free writing ā¦ to infinity and beyond.
We often donāt explore creative writing in an academic setting until later in life when we seek it out (or never at all in most cases). And while thereās guides for these looser types of writing, as well, itās important to know you can just say FUCK ALL and bastardize the rules that were beat into your brain by red pens all your life.
Make up words. A paragraph can be one sentence, one word, or a whole damn monologue. Run-on sentences can be a style choice. Make a chapter one line. Use capitalization however you see fit. Start sentences with conjunctions. Be abstract in imagery. Forget commas exist and keep using āandā instead (<- my favorite). Fragments can be fire. Create your own voice in the remnants of a burned language.
Learning the rules also means knowing how and when to break them. So break them to tell your story the way you want.
Something I always tell myself, "You can not have beauty without imperfections." Im not sure where I originally heard this or if its my own, but I do know for certain it helps me on projects, it could be anywhere from painting to writing, all forms of art are simply beautiful in their mistakes.
