Suddenly found those old screenshots on my phone remembered how much I loved the attention to detail with his expressions in this scene and how much I wanted to hug him!

Like the first one shows the cogs slowly turning in his head as he processes what's happening right now then it turns to horror and then what looks like a pained expression and even guilt in the 2nd one. Like he outright promised that the police won't lay a finger on the group and he probably felt like he failed to keep it even though it was technically out of his control. Yeah, he intended to use and potentially betray them should they show even the smallest amount of suspicious activity or indication that they're the culprits behind what's happening in the game but that was at the beginning and now he not only grew attached to them but KNOWS that they're 100% innocent of the crimes that are being pinned on them. So with that said it clearly pained him. Especially since, to add insult to injury, his own boss and implied trusted confidant and even friend is leading the raid with such coldness on top of it so now he's forced to choose: Be "lawful" and listen to his head, chained like a dog to an obviously broken, stagnant, and corrupt system and hope that waiting longer will make it better even if it means ruining more lives in the process (including a group of kids)... Or be moral and break the chains holding him down as he's not going to wait for change anymore and listen to his heart. What he really wants. And that's when he suddenly gets a burst of confidence and leads to this:

Shit still hits the fan but god damn was it cathartic! Just the whole cutscene was well done thanks to the minimal dialogue and expressions/movements! Less was more and Tom's delivery was solid! 👌

Soo... I did a touch-up/remake because I felt like she was missing something. So, some tattoos inspired by her 3rd tier after looking through the concept art for Royal! And yes, the larger one pictured on said Concept Art is on her back! A beautiful rose has thorns indeed~! ^_^🌹

So here's a question, since you're presumably reading this because you're a Maruki fan; Exactly how wrong do you think Maruki was in his goal? I'd love to speak to anyone who actually agrees with Maruki's reality.
