I’m trying so hard not to spit out my tea right now. Seeing this gif again, I thought - how the fuck is Mason still laying in the exact same place after this battle scene is over?

Look at this gif. Lunarre has his foot on Mason’s prone body. He then crouches down like an Olympic runner and kicks off with such speed and force (ballistic missile anyone?) the entire screen is covered in an explosion of dust and pieces of earth. 

LUNARRE HAD HIS FOOT ON MASON’S BACK. 

If Mason wasn’t sent FLYING INTO THE TREES (or buried into the ground) by the sheer force of that take-off, his spine would probably at least be SHATTERED.

I almost spat my tea out imagining Mason going WEEEE high in the air and the seraphim having to rescue his poor broken body from wherever it landed. 

BUT NOPE, HE’S STILL THERE. EXACT SAME PLACE LUNARRE WAS STANDING. Different position, but I put that down to his seraph buddies. I imagine healer seraph had to do something about that shattered spine.

Everything about this entire scene is hilariously ridiculous. 

The series is still dross though. Irrespective of the glimmers of entertainment.
