Rose is a hypocrite. 

She accuses Lunarre of cowardice, yet until this point she has been the one avoiding him! 

She has just waited to happen across Lunarre again on her travels with Sorey, knowing full well a deranged former assassin is running around free as a bird. She even tells Sorey that’s her plan. “I’m sure we’ll come across him eventually!” she says!

Um, no, how about the oh-so-badass and decisive assassin leader deal with the problem before, you know, the shit at Pendrago happens? No, let’s just wait. And then try and murder the problem rather than use your superior knowledge of the situation to understand Lunarre’s side of the story. 

Not this flippant shit.

No wonder Lunarre exploded (literally and figuratively).

Nah, killing him is much easier than facing your own accountability. No flaw can ever touch our noble, pure Rose!

Lunarre looked around, roused from his thoughts by the woman’s young voice. He had just arrived in the bustling city and was almost overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people passing by.

“Oh. Thanks, uh...”

Looking the woman over for some sort of clue as to who she was. Her striking bodysuit and hat seemed to suggest importance, and Lunarre’s eye was especially intrigued by the sword hanging at her hip. But the bandit-turned-mercenary had little experience of the world outside his home in the Misty Mountains, so the effort was doomed from the start.
