He was drifting off to sleep in a twilight between dreams and reality when he thought he heard whispering. 

His father was calling him.

“Lunarre! Come on, no dawdling. Today’s a busy day!”

Lunarre lurched from his bed, his eyes darting wildly around in the darkness. 

A chill enveloped the room and Lunarre shivered. It was early morning; a faint line of light peeked out from under the front door. 

Throwing off his blanket, Lunarre got out of bed and put on his coat and shoes. 

He needed a walk.

Apparently Chicken Little is part of the culture of Glenwood! So much so that even the seraphim of Elysia got a hold of the story and had Zenrus and others reading it to little Sorey and Mikleo!
