My worst nightmare realized.
As my sister and I leave Vegas and head to Kauai I’m excited, and yet sad at the same time. This would not have been a vacation that I would have gone on solo, this would have been an “us” vacation. I know that thinking of yesterday fogs your vision of your today, so I focus my attention on what I can control now, whatever that actually means “control”. I’m making my way through this storm. Crystal Beach Florida is one of those towns that sets the imagination on a path of discovery. I recently had the pleasure of showing off my town to a friend from the Midwest. Took him to Tarpon Springs, to Mr. Souvlaki’s (Once A Week Go Greek) to have Pickled Octopus and Greek Chow Mein. We then took a stroll through Crystal Beach, to the community pier that is named after my grandmother‘s youngest brother. Then down to the community park, to one of the favorite oak trees that we used to climb as kids, and then to the water fountain. If you are lucky enough to live in Crystal Beach, you are lucky enough!

What Gets In The Way? As I looked in the mirror, and I see the Sunrising, i take a moment to think, is it just another moment in time that is about to pass me by. Am I so lost in my self thought, that I am going to allow a moment like this to pass me by because of my mindset? I’ve been busy, busy not living my life, not being me, I making my way, and I choose to see.
