"Sexual fantasies are morally neutral" gets said a lot but like, so are violent fantasies. So are revenge fantasies. So are those incredibly authoritarian "if I ran the world" pipe dreams that we all have even if they actively conflict with our rationally held political beliefs. I don't actually believe drivers who cut pedestrians off at crosswalks should get the firing squad but when I've just been cut off at the crosswalk it sure feels good to say it
