Happy Halloween Season!

[ID: Artwork featuring Gosalyn from Darkwing Duck, and Webby from Ducktales. They are out trick or treating and are carrying large bags with them. Gosalyn is dressed as Freddy Krueger, and Webby as Jason Voorhees. They pass each other on the sidewalk, and they give the other a sideways glance. End ID]

Interesting how this cover kind of predate Louie's cowardly personality and Dewey's bonding with Gosalyn in thwe reboot

The people from Valhalla are okay with letting Jormungandr destroy the world, but giving inappropriate to a dog? Not okay!

DUCKVEMBER DAY 5: Remarkable
Antônio Patiño, Brazilian voice actor
For my belated contribuition to the fifth day of Duckvember, I decided to pay tribute to the late Antônio Patiño, by far the most remarkable voice of Uncle Scrooge. His most remarkable works for Disney include Louie in Talespin, Sherlock Holmes’ cameo in Great Mouse Detective (coincidentially, he also voiced Basil Rathbone several times) and Mr. Potato Head in the first Toy Story (his last work before he retired). While he only ever voiced Scrooge McDuck in the original Ducktales, he remains as the best Scrooge McDuck in Portuguese ever. So this is my tribute to him, who would have turned ninety in last october

DUCKVEMBER DAY 4: Quietly reading a book.
One of my earliest drawings of Scrooge; I’m really glad to be part of Duckvember for the first time
Imagine this: an 80′s show, with Alan Young as Scrooge, Russi Taylor as Donald and Della, Christian Jacobs as Gladstone and, um, R. J. Williams as Fethry...
Still love how the 80′s Ducktales worked out, though

This is how I pretend the 80s show worked out.
Bless me bagpipes! The best theory for the next DT episodes yet!
Okay, so after staring f o r e v e r at the trailers, I have a theory.
What if this:

isn’t actually Magica?
Don’t get me wrong, she’s definitely coming back, and she’s definitely coming for Lena. But how would she get her staff back without, ya know, taking the amulet out of Lena? Never mind fixing it (big old crack from Donald’s head, remember). So I kept watching the trailer. And watching. And watching. And this scene caught my attention:

(Yes Magica, we all tremble before your slightest scowl.)
No staff. Looks like she has a wand though, which I dig. And invasion of the manor:

No staff (epic glare down between her and Webby though I love it.)
Back to the first one isn’t really Magica, though. So I might I have dreamt this, but I swear I saw somewhere about an episode where Violet takes the kids to her school (and I mean there’s a lot of context in both trailers to prove that even if it hasn’t been officially confirmed). It’s easy to assume this scene:

is that episode since, well:

(oh…. Dewey.)
Assuming this is fairly soon after the hiatus, and after Lena came back, it feels safe to assume she hasn’t even started trying to deal with half her trauma yet (which, ya know, is fair. No one wants to deal with that). And there’s a very well-known trope of magic/supernatural powers manifesting one’s fears and making them seem real - we all know one show where magic brings someone’s fears to life, let’s be real. So what if this Magica:

Is something Lena accidentally created due to repressed fear and trauma? It’s Magica the way Lena remembers her, complete with the intact staff that shouldn’t be able to exist. She’s in a new place, she’s somehow ended up alone in a hallway, of course she’s going to start freaking out because presumably she knows Magica is still out there and her worst fear is absolutely Magica coming back. We see that in Friendship Hates Magic:

(”No, not her! Not again!” bby let me hug you)
So, they’re at the school, Lena’s “oh fuck” meter goes through the roof when she sees Magica, magical shenanigans start happening, leading to:

(Honestly, Violet is so patient with all of this.)
And this is where my brain really goes off the rails. This:

isn’t Magica. It’s Lena.
I know I know just let me.
Magic makes things go absolutely haywire, the whole school turns into some weird wondernightmareland where Huey is - wtf Huey - Louie is a cat (I mean, that fits him, he’s lazy, likes to sleep, and thinks he’s the King of everything. He’s basically the cat sitting in my lap rn), Dewey appears to be some popular jock or something (it does fits with his need to stand out and not be lost between his brothers), Webby is… mini-Scrooge, and Violet is far too patient with all of this I swear to god. The kids figure out something FREAKING WEIRD is going on, and where there’s magic, there’s usually Lena and/or Magica.
And while magic is messing with everything else, Lena accidentally turns herself into the thing she hates and fears most: Magica. Is she aware she’s doing any of this? Probably not. She probably sees herself as Magica and loses it. Is friendship going to fix everything in the end? Most likely. They’ll figure out Lena is causing all the mayhem, talk her down, everything goes back to normal, and they all go back to the manor for a nice, calm sleepover:

Except, ya know:

FORESHADOWING.
(I somehow missed the magic shattering the mirror on the first fifty watch throughs but damn that is a cool detail) ((tl;dr Lena accidentally turns herself into Magica and it turns into foreshadowing for the real Magica climbing out of Hell presumably Mount Vesuvius for reasons unknown))

(seriously wtf)
(I mean it could even be reversed – start with the sleepover because Violet is taking them to school the next day yay! Lena sees herself go half Magica for some reason, sleepover otherwise goes off without a hitch until the next day when the school shenanigans happen, it ends with everyone assuring Lena she’s safe and Magica can’t hurt her, then cut to…. that last clip of Magica seriously wtf)

Phantom Blot
My take on one of the famous Disney villains ever
Happy Women’s Day, duck fangirls (and non-fans of course)
Happy International Women’s Day DuckTales Fandom
A girl can be anything….
A pilot or astronaut

A Bodyguard/Housekeeper who is actually a Spy

A Police Officer

A Businesswoman who runs a Charity Organization

An Explorer and Treasure Hunter (Though I highly advise to have a better moral compass than Goldie)

But Still, the Possibilities are Endless

Huey, Dewey and Louie - Don Rosa style
I tried imagining what the new versions of HD&L would look like if they were drawn by Don Rosa. It’s rather ironic, since he’s not a fan of the show himself, but I really love his art style and I love the new Ducktales. So one thing takes to the other...

Capelobo
Capelobo is a mythological figure from Brazilian folklore. It has the head of an anteater, a humanoid furry body, long claws and rounded hooves. It hunts animals and humans, killing them and drinking their blood, but in some versions, it can also suck their brains out through its snout.

Huey Dewey and Louie and Webby. I had drawn a different Webby on the right, but I thought her beak was too long, so I drew her at left. Im still improving my drawing habilities with these ducks, their beaks always come out different than i expected. Still, I hope you enjoyed my work

Scrooge McDuck, the richest duck in the world. This is my first drawing of Scrooge, I’m training to make Disney Ducks, especially the Ducktales characters, which I’m a huge fan of.
