Simply a sleepy person, call me Summer. Occasional author so you may see some stuff here, maybe not, it depends on how much coffee or tea I have in me, feel welcome and rest for a while. Lurk or feel free to shoot an ask if you want to talk LoZ or Linked Universe! The box is open for a reason after all, or don't, that's chill as well. I'm just here doing my thing and having a nice place to write. Warning that it's a mainly The Legend of Zelda and Linked Universe focused blog, occasionally Hollow Knight and Houseki no Kuni/Land of the Lustrous too, so don't be surprised if you see crazy theories, headcanons and the sort every once in a while. Profile by @parksrway , go check their art and all their works out, they make amazing content and I would literally die for their art, or if I had the chance to be sworn into office be sworn on it. They also make top tier Sheik content.

No you won’t ever be exactly the same again and that’s fine, actually.
The Unending Storm
Your name is Link. And the skies have been gray for as long as you can remember.
'The world wasn't always like this,' comes the whispered lament of a princess with hair like spun gold, the cold seeps into your bones from the chilling tempest above. As she looks up at the sky, you wonder if her hair would look like the thing the queen had described as the 'sun' if the clouds didn't cover everything, 'The monsters were supposed to be gone, you know, my mother told me so. And the skies were clear and blue and you could see all kinds of light up there.'
You can barely even begin imagine, the wet, choking cold was all you'd ever know, the chill seeping into your lungs, the humidity always a constant. And now to join the water comes your own blood
...The water level still rises, the last of the Zora had long died out, the forests have long been submerged by the hungry, endless jaws of the deep. The Gorons and Gerudo are gone. The remaining people barely hang on, you've lost everyone, you've failed everyone. As you bleed out with the princess weeping over your body, and the king attempting to stand tall against the malice wearing a Gerudo face, you can't help but think about the uncaring gods up above, so called powerful Din who stands by as one of her worshipers stand against her creations supposedly courageous Farore stands silent as every piece of life she created die and ever watchful Hylia as she does not even deign to give her descendant hope, and ask why. How did this happen? Why did the Hero leave when instead of ending the cycle for good, he merely allowed this world to leave on borrowed time? Why did the queen pass the burden onto her descendant, knowing it was hopeless, but allow her to live a torturous lie that this could be turned around?
Why, why, why?
... Not even wise Nayru can answer you. Or maybe she does not deem it worth answering.
After all, what right did a mortal have to question the will of the gods?
You were never meant to attempt to pick up the sword, this world lived on borrowed time and was just waiting to die. Your failure and attempt at trying to finish what the Hero of Time started prolonged it's suffering, and at the end, you and your predecesor both failed. You'd never be free of this wretched, torturous, unending torrential downpour for sins none of the people should have to have to bear all because of a divine spat and the greed of men.
...You couldn't keep your promise, that once this was all over, you'd gaze upon the stars with Zelda in the green fields of Hyrule.
Your name is Link. People once told you to be a hero as the real one had to leave and in the end, you couldn't save or protect a single thing. No matter how hard you tried.
And in the end of all things, you can't help but think that for your failure, it's fitting that you drown.
To sleep deprivedly add to this:
Warriors 🤝 Odysseus: Accidentally attracting the interest of very powerful sorceresses/technically divine beings who went after their comrades at some point and being very much Not Down to Tap That, They Know Better Than to Stick It in Crazy™
Time 🤝 Warriors 🤝 Odysseus: War veteráns with several varying levels of willingness for the entire effort.
Cía 🤝 Circe: Down bad for the protagonist or at least down to doing the horizontal tango and bewitching them if necessary when they're very much not down for all that nonsense.
Wind 🤝 Legend 🤝 Odysseus: All having some kind of sea related trauma, probably involving either a sea monster or a sea god of some type (Wind probably less than Legend and Odysseus)
Time 🤝 Legend 🤝 Odysseus: Wants to throw down with the gods so hard, either because they pissed one off and it made their life infinitely harder, or just because godly shenanigans got them caught up in quests none of them wanted any part in and it took from them people they cared for.
Sky 🤝 First 🤝 Odysseus: Accidental rizz was so potent literal goddesses fell for them (though Odysseus wasn't down for it and it didn't end well for First, so... First 🤝 Gilgamesh: A goddess fell for them once and it's all been downhill from there {negative})
I shall still not elaborate, doubt anyone would want me to ramble for hours about The Legend of Zelda, Linked Universe and Mythology.
Most Lu Time Fans/Enjoyers 🤝 Circe and Calypso from Greek Mythology/The Odyssey
Being very thirsty for older, married men/heroes. Albeit each with very different approaches to it.
Malon 🤝 Penelope
Very capable women who could probably kill a man for their husbands if needed be and who are very ready to support them and believe in them unconditionally.
Time 🤝 Odysseus
Older men and war veterans who had Been Through It and Seen Things, have been screwed over by the Gods Several Times to the Point They Could and Would Fight Them and Win but have better things to use their time on, like making it back home after a longer than expected journey and love their wives (or spouse/spouses if you're an X reader person or ship him with someone else) very, very much, and are fully willing to throw hands on their accounts. Also something of gremlins and canonical little shits even if no one will believe you if you try saying it. Main difference is that one successfully acquired a found family while the other had to kill a small child that could have been part of the arguable found family if not for the Gods who mostly screwed him over in the process to secure his wife and son's safety.
I will not elaborate.
*sips coffee while sleep deprivedly rereading the Four Swords Adventures Manga
*Suddenly, Ribs by The Crane Wives comes in on the playlist
*Has to mentally remind self not to either A: tear up at Shadow's sacrifice, B: Go on a rant on why it compels you so much, C: Write, and D: How Shadow likely relates to personhood and how that affects Four and the Colors.
*sighs, closes Four Swords Manga and goes to read the OoT manga
