HELLO SAN I Loved Meant To Be In Fact I Created This Acc Just To Read Ur Stuff So Can We Please Please
HELLO SAN i loved meant to be in fact i created this acc just to read ur stuff so can we please please have poly wolfstar headcanons with lots of fluff đĽ°đĽ°đĽ°đĽ°
i love you ⥠and yes of course you can! also i got so carried away, this was very self-indulgent and fun to write <3
headcanons of poly!wolfstar x fem!reader

tw: tooth-rotting fluff, one mention of sex but if you blink it's gone
personalised nicknames! all of you have different terms of endearment for each other so you donât get mixed up (remus calls you dove/sweetheart, and sirius calls you love/pretty girl <3)
sirius is always in the middle when the three of you are walking together, holding both yours and remusâ hands
sirius loves laying his head in your lap, letting you comb your fingers through his hair and make small braids in it
he goes crazy when you braid flowers into his hair, peppering kisses all over your face and relishing in the victory of you blushing
he bombards yours and remusâ faces with kisses all the time anyway, he doesnât need an excuse for it
whenever thereâs parties, sirius does both of your makeup for you. you canât stop giggling as he does your eyeliner, heâll tsk irritatedly and kiss you to shut you up. and remus keeps grumbling about how tedious the process is but sirius will tell him how pretty he looks and heâll immediately zip his mouth
sirius loves to be pampered, especially after quidditch matches. heâll lay on the bed while you rub curling cream into his hair and remus massages between his shoulder blades. the moans that escape his mouth from remusâ massaging are borderline sinful, and he claims that he would âtrade sex for this any dayâ
speaking of quidditch matches. when gryffindor wins, everyoneâs crowding around sirius and congratulating him, but he doesnât care. he runs straight up to the stands and into yoursâ and remusâ arms
both you and sirius lean against remus when cuddling, who has long arms to wrap around your waists, the tall wanker
remus chides the both of you for not doing assignments (he still does it for you anyway, pretending to hate doing it. but he loves how grateful you both are after he does)
he is a stupid stupid flirt who bends down to look into yours and siriusâ eyes when he talks to you. it makes your heart beat like crazy
sirius and you are always stealing remusâ grandpa sweaters because theyâre just so comfy. heâd be like âwhereâs my-â and then heâd see one of you wearing it and roll his eyes affectionately
remus is all for pressing kisses into yours and siriusâ hairÂ
and you like to give them each a kiss on their nose, which makes remus turn red and sirius gush over how freaking adorable you are
after full moons, you clean remus up and press gentle kisses to his scars while sirius kisses his tears away. itâs a painful yet heavenly experience, it hurts and it heals
when you have period cramps, sirius massages your stomach and presses kisses to your hairline, while remus makes you hot chocolate and envelopes you in his warmth
sirius cries all day when he gets a letter from home. and the two of you are right by him the whole time, squeezing his hands, whispering reassurances into his ear, and wrapping him up in blankets and warm hugs
remus reads to the two of you every night till you fall asleep, hands interlaced and legs entangled. heâll smile and press a kiss to each of your foreheads before falling asleep himself
cuddles every morning, smothering one other in tight hugs and kisses filled with bad breath and love. itâs especially nice when it rains; it storms outside, but youâre all cosy in your safe haven
youâre in their dorm room so much it might as well be yours. and itâs always lively with music from siriusâ record player
the three of you hold hands and jam out to the music, all awkward movements and tripping up, but itâs so much fun
all of you go for picnics together, or just sit under a tree near the black lake. remus will read his book, youâll lay in his lap and make flower crowns, and sirius rests his head on your stomach while he paints his nails. remus will occasionally bend down to press a kiss to siriusâ knuckles or between your eyebrows
hugs hugs hugs so many group hugs and being squeezed until you feel all the sadness seep out, and you wish you could stay there forever with siriusâ arms holding you close and remusâ chin on the top of your head. it feels like home

âDove,â Remus breathes, a false picture of calmness even though concern seeps into his tone. âDeep breaths, please. Deep breaths for me.â
His thumb continued to apply gentle pressure between your shoulder blades as you sit there, red-rimmed eyes and tear-streaked cheeks. Remus thinks he can feel his heart breaking everytime you sniffle, the pitiful sound from deep inside your chest.
The two of you sit by the black lake, the moon lighting up the space. This was almost a weekly occurrence; both of you pulling yourselves out of your other two boyfriendsâ sleepy embraces to sneak out and sit together on the expanse of grass.
Youâd talk about the blood-thirsty monsters haunting parts of you till the sun started to rise, and fall asleep holding each otherâs hands. The next morning, youâd wake up on the grass wrapped in Jamesâ arms with Sirius peppering kisses all over your faces, and everything would be alright again.
This time was different, though; Remus knew it, and he was sure that by some form of instinct, James and Sirius would be able to sense it too despite the distance.
You were absolutely distraught, and he had no idea why. The two of you were sitting in silence when you broke down all of a sudden, and now he was desperate to make you smile again.
He was right â soon enough, the shuffling of leaves and poorly concealed whispers could be heard behind you.
âI told you something was wrong!â
âWhat? Whatâs wrong? The only thing wrong here is that theyâre getting cosy without us!â Remus can hear Sirius grumbling, unable to stop a small smile from curving his lips despite the situation.
âPads! Sheâs crying,â James huffs quietly.
Within seconds, Sirius rushes to crouch down in front of you, his eyes wide with panic. His eyebrows are bunched in concern, mouth set in a frown. âWhatâs wrong?â he asks, his voice coming out shriller than he intended to.
You tense and shrug noncommittally, gaze fixed on the ground as you try to blink away the tears blurring your vision. He softens slightly upon seeing the look on your face and gently takes your hands.
Sirius opens his mouth to speak again but James holds a finger to his lips, a silent plea to let you be. He rolls his eyes but keeps his mouth closed, starting to rub your palms with his thumbs.
James looks at Remus quizzically for an explanation, to which he shrugs â he had no idea what had triggered you so terribly. James sighs, and you feel his warmth instantly as he sits down beside you.
âHi angel,â he murmurs, turning to you with a small smile. He reaches out and brushes a few strands of hair off your face, and you find yourself involuntarily leaning into his touch.
âHello,â you mumble.
James feels his heart sink at the sound of your defeated voice, and he can tell how much effort it was taking you to hold back tears. âCan you tell us why youâre upset?â
âI⌠I donâtââ you warble, âIâm fine, really.â
It takes all of Siriusâ willpower not to roll his eyes at your blatant lie. âLove, youâre crying. Just spit it out.â
Remus and James both turn to glare at Sirius, but he just shrugs and eyes you impatiently. Apparently, Siriusâ goad was all you needed to get you started. âI was justâŚ. I donât wanna be alone,â you croak pathetically.
Remusâ ministrations on your back still immediately, completely abandoning his project as he drops his arm to the ground. Sirius furrows his eyebrows, looking at you strangely as though you were some sort of crossword puzzle.
âAlone?â James echoed, pouting with puzzlement. âWhat⌠what do you mean, alone? You have us, sweetheart. Weâre never leaving you.â
âYeah,â Sirius pipes up, gently lifting one of your hands to press a chaste kiss to your knuckles.
âBut you are,â you insist, and James can hear the desperation in your voice. He tugs you closer to him, wrapping a strong arm around your shoulder silently.
âWhy would we ever leave you?â Remus speaks up softly, lifting a hand to gently comb through your hair. âWhat did we do to make you think that we would?â
âItâs notâ you guys didnâtââ you let out a frustrated sob, roughly raking your fingers through your hair. There was no easy way to go about this conversation, and you hated yourself for having to do this to them.
James makes a pitiful sound in the back of his throat and starts rubbing your arm encouragingly. He presses a quick kiss to your hairline, feeling more worried by the minute.
Sirius squeezes your hands firmly, applying pressure until it hurt and you finally raise your eyes to look at him. Youâre scared of the anger, or worse â disappointment â youâd find, but thereâs a bountiful amount of love in his gaze. He looks at you imploringly, saying nothing yet everything with his eyes.
You sigh shakily. âYouâre all gonna die one day, and⌠and youâre gonna leave me here. Alone,â you warble, your voice growing softer with each word until your last one came out as a whisper. âAnd â and Iâll have to live without you, and Iâll be so loveless, and ââ
James canât take it anymore, and pulls you into his lap without warning, bringing your head to his chest. The walls of your dam start to break as you let out a sob, feeling the fear and sadness pouring out of you. He rubs small circles into your back, nestling his chin in your hair as he glances at his boyfriends worriedly.
Youâre scared; to say the least. The three of them had been by your side for years, and your world revolved around them. You didnât think you knew what else to live for if it wasnât for them, their bright grins and heartfelt love. The way James crouched slightly to hug you, how Sirius pulled you into his side and peppered kisses all over your face, Remusâ hand in yours as he pressed his lips to your own â you didnât think you could last a day without them and their endearing little quirks.
Living alone wasnât something you had in you to do; because it wasnât really living if it wasnât with them. The thought of waking up in an empty bed sends a shudder through you as you squeeze your eyes impossibly tighter.
âBaby,â Sirius speaks softly, and your heart clenches at the way his voice cracks. He places a hand on the nape of your neck, slowly rubbing up and down. âMaybe⌠maybe you wonât have us in the future. But ââ
That was the wrong thing to say, as you let out a wail and cling impossibly harder to James. Remus flicks the side of Siriusâ head chidingly as James rolls his eyes. Sirius lets out a sad exhale, blinking away tears. He never knows how to fix things.
The tall boy notices the way Siriusâ head was lowered, and immediately wraps both arms around him, pressing kisses to his hair. James tries not to smile upon seeing Sirius melt into his touch.
He locks eyes with Remus, and nods quietly to let him know he can handle it.
âAngel,â James coaxes softly. âLook up at me, please?â
You sniffle softly, raising your head to meet his gaze. James frowns when he sees your puffy red eyes, reaching out to wipe your tears.
âDo you love us for our bodies?â
The question catches you off guard, your eyebrows arching. Was he joking? In a situation like this? You hear the unmistakable sound of Remus snorting behind you. âWhat?â
âI said,â James repeated, âdo you love us for our bodies?â
âNo!â you splutter, some of your melancholy leaving to make way for confusion. âWhat â why ââ
âExactly,â James says firmly, immediately shutting you up with the sincerity in his voice. âYou donât love us for our bodies, for our physicality. You love us for us, for our love. And let me tell you, our love is something thatâs gonna stay with you until the end of time.â
You immediately soften at his words. âBut I wonât have you here, you wonât be ââ
âWe will,â James responds softly, jabbing a finger into the left side of your chest. âWe will be here. Right here.â
You feel your heart swell with sad affection; feeling nostalgia towards something that hasnât even happened yet.
Remus scoots forward to wrap his arms around your waist, pulling your back snug against his chest. âAnd weâre here with you now. Weâre going to be with you for years, dove. Weâre not going anywhere anytime soon, okay?â
You let your eyes flutter closed, let yourself indulge for a moment as you nod blindly. It was impossible for you to stay upset when your boys were comforting you with saccharine voices and sweet touches. Perhaps they were right, they always were.
You hear a sniffle from your left, and open your eyes to look at Sirius. He had tears running down his cheeks, and was looking at you with his mouth open and a heartbroken look on his face. Remus let out a quiet chuckle, and you turn to give him a death glare as you crawl out of his lap and over to Sirius.
Sirius immediately pulls you into a strangling hug, burying his face in the crook of your neck as he cries. âWhy are you crying?â James questions, bemused with the slightest hint of concern in his tone.
âMy poor baby, sheâs gonna be all alone,â he blubbered, earning a small smile from you. He pulls away and raises his head to look at you, gripping your cheeks with a fervour and desperation youâve never seen before. âIâm gonna write you a letter everyday, so you can read them all when Iâm gone. And⌠and Iâll make you a scrapbook of my most handsome pictures.â
You smile indulgently at him. âYeah?â
âYeah,â he blabs on, wiping his nose. âAnd we can make sex tapes in case youâre extra horny when youâre old, andâŚâ
âOkay, I think thatâs enough,â Remus says loudly, earning a giggle from you as James swats the back of Siriusâ head.
You rest your head on Siriusâ shoulder, feeling James peck your cheek and Remusâ arm wrapping around your waist.
Grief was inevitable, but it was just love coming back to haunt you, wasnât it? Even after they passed, youâd find them in the way the wind travels on chilly nights, the glimmer of the sun at dawn, and maybe even the occasional sex tape. In everything you see, you would see them.
Their unconditional devotion to you transcended the blurry lines of mortality, and you knew that as long as your heart continued to beat, they would never stop loving you. James was right â they had left the mark of their love in every corner of your heart and home; and werenât ever going to leave you alone.

a/n: inspiration really struck with this one! was feeling sad about poa sirius so i decided to write this :) enjoy!
summary: sirius is back from azkaban, but things just donât feel like they used to
âI wish I knew how to talk about it,â you murmur, gaze fixed on the tearing leather of the couch as you thumb it absentmindedly, like it were the most interesting thing in the world.
Sirius looks up from where he slouches on the other end, surprise flashing across his features. âWhat?â
Heâs startled, really, that you decided to start a conversation. Itâs something you havenât done once in these past few days.
Sirius presumed youâd be happy to have him home, glad to be reunited with your lover after twelve long years. But ever since he returned, heâs felt a constant craving for your affection.
The truth was that he didnât feel much different right now from how he did in Azkaban.
Hours spent tirelessly longing for you - for the touch of your soft skin beneath his calloused hands, the feel of your tender lips on his chapped ones. It was how he survived, dreaming of who was waiting for him on the other side of the cruel metal bars.
It had felt like he was going mad sometimes, crazy for you. Hands grasping at what he thought was the fabric of your dress. Fever dreams and hallucinations of soft moans, whispered promises. Loud sobs racking his body because he envisioned a glimpse of your death. But you were here, now, sitting stoic in front of him.
You werenât the same anymore, though. You were no longer the person he had left behind when he was taken away. You werenât his.
What had once been stolen kisses and longing stares had turned into accidental touches and pulling away. Late night heart-to-hearts about rings and cradles had been replaced with small talk, mindless rambling for the sake of conversation.
Where there had been love, there was now a barrier. And Sirius couldnât tell if it was a mental one or a physical one; considering that you now slept with two doors separating you.
He wished he could say all of this, express the twinge of pain that tore through his chest every time he looked into your lifeless eyes. But all that he managed to croak out was, âWhat do you mean?â
âThis,â you gesture between the two of you, finally mustering the strength to meet his steady gaze. You wish you hadnât. The torment in his eyes was going to haunt you for the rest of your life.
Everything had changed, it was as obvious as the rising of the sun. His departure had left you like a rag doll, solemn and still as though the life had been sucked out of you. It was more than a decade ago. But you had felt the anguish grip you every minute of every day from the time he was taken away.
He had left you with so much anger, so much hatred for the circumstances you were left in. You knew deep down that it wasnât his fault, of course it wasnât. But you werenât about to direct your fury at anyone else. Not at Remus, the pathetic bloke who had just lost his best friends. Not at Peter - he deserved nothing, not even your emotions.
So you channeled your rage at Sirius. Because you were so desperate to get the image of his pleading eyes out of your head, so fraught with the need to kill the longing ache that filled your body when he double-crossed your mind. You couldnât bear the pain of loving him, so you convinced yourself to hate him. Told yourself that he killed James and Lily. He abandoned you and was never coming back.
But he was here now, looking at you like his universe began and ended with your love.
You suck in a shaky breath and continue, convincing yourself that if you didnât have this conversation now, you never would. âI donât know how to talk about this. About us. NothingâsâŚ. nothingâs the same anymore.â
Siriusâ eyebrows bunch in concern, and you donât miss the slight quiver in his lips as he bites down on them. He breathes sharply, blinking away what looks suspiciously like tears.
âWell,â he starts, gulping down a lump in his throat as he continues to train his eyes on you. âYou donât- we donât have to talk about it.â
âI donât?â
âNo, you donât.â
âWe can just⌠we can just sit together,â he blurts out, seeming puzzled at his own words for a moment as he averts his gaze to the ground.
But then his expression clears up, and he looks back into your eyes, surprisingly firm. âIf youâd like to, I mean. If youâd like to sit together.â
âSit with you?â you repeat.
âSit with me,â he says again.
âOkay.â
Sirius lets out a tense exhale, visibly relieved. He gives you a terse yet encouraging smile, patting the spot next to him.
You take a deep breath, pressing your palms into the couch as you move yourself towards him.
The next moment, your indent in the couch is melding with his, knees touching the otherâs. He extends his arm behind you, unsure. But when you donât protest, he wraps it around you gently, pulling you into his side with all the care in the world.
âOkay?â
Uncertainty.
âOkay.â
Hope.
You feel your walls start to collapse, involuntarily melting into Siriusâ touch. This is what it used to be like, this is how you used to spend your days.
It was engraved into your very bones, the feel of his skin against yours. Etched on your soul were the hearts he used to trace with his slender fingers, the marks of where he left his kisses. Visible to no one but you and him.
He sucks in a trembling breath and you fear heâs going to start crying. Worse, you think you might just crumble into a pool of tears yourself. So you do what your heart is screaming at you to, and wrap your arms around him tenderly.
Sirius immediately tugs you impossibly closer, burying his face in your hair. You feel the yearning in his embrace, his hungry craving to hold you close. His tears wet your hair as you nestle your face in his chest.
The both of you stay like that for what feels like forever, making up for all the time you shouldâve had. At one point you start to rock him as he cries, trying to pretend like his muffled sobs didnât send daggers through your heart.
âI love you,â Sirius breathes shakily, a while after his bout of tears has passed.
Silence.
He seems to understand, seems to accept it. He gently rakes his fingers through your hair. âDo you love me?â
Itâs less of a question, more of a plead. You think he might already know the answer. And you know heâd continue to love you either way.
âI donât know,â you admit softly, feeling the guilt squeeze your chest.
You feel his Adamâs apple bobbing as he swallows. âOkay.â
âOkay?â
âYeah, okay,â he murmurs, a hint of heartbreak in his voice. He lays his head on your yours and closes his eyes as he squeezes you just a little bit tighter. âYou donât have to love me. Not now, not ever. But⌠until you do, we can just continue to sit together, you know?â
That earns a soft chuckle from you.
âSit together,â you muse, feeling your lips start to curve upwards. Your agreement is obvious from the smile in your voice.
âSit together,â he echoes, smiling softly.
Sirius would love you for the rest of his life if youâd let him. But until you did, he was content to just sit next to you with his arm around your shoulder and head resting on yours.
heyyyy do you think you could write a James blurb where reader hangs with Severus and Lily (she's a Snape but it's not really common knowledge as she's a few years younger) and everyone thinks James likes to come around for Lily but it's actually for the reader? I love your work btw!!!
yes, of course!! and thank you âĄ

tw: fluff
snape!reader, james potter x reader
A frustrated sigh escapes Severusâ lips as you flick a petal at him for what seems like the umpteenth time that evening. You can feel the quivers in Lilyâs body from where youâre laying on her lap as she laughs.
O.W.L.S. had just ended for your brother and best friend, so you dragged them down to your usual spot beneath the silver-leafed tree for a picnic. Lily was concentratedly twining vines together, crafting a daisy crown.
The light breeze caused her auburn hair to cover her face as she worked, the sun hitting her face in all the right places. She looked like some sort of heavenly wood nymph, you thought as you stared up at her. She was really really pretty.
Meanwhile, Severus was engrossed in some old, weathered-down potions book - furiously scribbling down notes for god-knows-what. Your legs were propped up on his lap as you threw the petals which occasionally fell from Lilyâs flower crown at him. His expression was growing more cross by the second.
Your brother starts to grumble at you under his breath as a petal drifts straight into his nostril. A giggle bubbles out of you as he sneezes and the petal shoots out his nose, not missing the huff of annoyance he let out.
âIf mother hadnât instructed me to take care of you,â he mutters, a hint of irritation in his tone as he rubs his nose, âI wouldâve tossed you into the black lake already.â
Lily grins, flicking your forehead as you bat your eyelashes at him playfully. âYou love me.â
âLies.â
âYou bought me a whole bag of chocolate last weekend!â
âThat was merely because-â
Your brotherâs rambling comes to a halt, his eyes suddenly narrowing as he glares at something across the field of grass. His mouth twists up into a disgruntled frown.
You follow his line of vision to see none other than James Potter stumbling towards your clique, casting dirty looks at his friends behind him as they urge him towards you.
A sigh escapes you before you can even think about it. It annoyed you greatly, whenever James came crawling after you all like a desperate dog, just for the sake of Lily.
That was all it was, you tried to convince yourself. You told yourself that the acidic burning sensation of your heart in your chest was just because it was frustrating how obsessed he was, how his eyes lit up whenever they landed on Lily, how he stumbled over his words whenever he was near.
He was annoying, a stupidly beautiful wanker with an achingly gorgeous smile and eyes so bright they could rival the stars.
But you knew why you really hated him, and it frustrated you immensely. You despised him for liking Lily, hated his guts for not liking you instead. It was sickening, the way he gazed at her. And it was even more disgusting how envy took ahold of your entire being when that happened.
It gutted you, whenever you saw him looking at your best friend with heart-eyes. But it was obvious why - she was everything a guy could ever want, and she was a perfect girl for the golden boy. How could you even think about rivalling her?
What upset you the most, though, was how Lily always seemed to ignore him, looking away and rolling her eyes when his eyes met hers. You wanted to shake her, yell at her for being so ungrateful and wrack some sense into her brain. But all you did was stare quietly at the ground whenever James was near, zoning out so you didnât have to hear the sickeningly mushy stuff which surely poured out his mouth in front of Lily.
So it was an understatement to say that your heart stopped when you heard your name coming out his mouth. You furrow your eyebrows, snapping back to the present as you press your palms down on the grass to lift your head from Lilyâs lap. âWhat?â
James was looking at you anxiously now, with that glimmer in his eyes and a nervous smile. âY/n, I um⌠I asked if youâd like to go to Hogsmeade with me? Tomorrow?â
You blink, the cogs still turning in your head. It was unfathomable, James Potter asking you out. Surely, it had to be a joke or a dare or something. Or maybe he meant to ask Lily, that was probably it. He had just asked the wrong person and was too nice to go back on his word, right?
âBut you like Lily!â you blurt out immediately, a pang of hurt overwhelming you, for both you and your best friend. Jamesâ eyebrows bunch up in puzzlement, his lips slowly twisting up into an almost comical smile. âLily? You think I like Lily?â
You were sure youâd get whiplash from how fast you turned around to look at Lily, seeing her eyebrows bunched in confusion. âSo, you donât like me, Potter?â
He chuckles, a bit of the tension leaving his muscular frame as he shakes his head. âRedhead, youâre cool and all. But Y/nâŚ.â His gaze flicks over to you, and the affection in his eyes made you want to melt into a pool of hot mush.
Lily starts to smile, before it turns into a full-blown grin and she turns to you, nudging your elbow suggestively.
âMe?â you question slowly, suspiciously. You didnât want to admit it, but your heart felt like it was going to burst even at the prospect of going out with him. âYou like me?â
James immediately nods, turning slightly red at how long it was taking him to get an acceptance from you. But then again, he thinks heâd wait a lifetime for you to say yes, and heâd wait forever even if you said no.
Just then, you hear a loud cough on your left, and turn to see Severus glaring at you with a deadpan expression on his face.
You feel an arm bristle the hair on your head as Lily reaches over from your right, mussing up your brotherâs hair. You laugh as he swats her away, tsking and cursing under his breath. âShut up, Sev. Let my girl have her moment.â
Severus, to his credit, does shut up. Though he still has that bleary, stormy look on his face.
You turn back to James, slightly dizzy as the thought began to plant itself in your brain. The smile on his face was asking a million questions, holding a hundred insecurities. Yet you knew that there was only one right answer to them all.
âYes,â you say softly, your lips beginning to curve upwards. Your heart was beating so loud, you were sure he could hear it.
âYeah?â he asks, starting to grin. He lets out an exhale and scratches the back of his head, smiling at the floor before looking back at you. âAlright, then. Iâll pick you up outside the Great Hall, 5pm.â
âOkay.â
âOkay.â He beams at you, and itâs the most beautiful youâve ever seen a person look before. âBye, Y/n. And redhead, and Snivellus.â
James winks at you before turning around, causing your heart to jump and lodge itself in your throat. He jogs back to his group of friends waiting with wide eyes and bated breath.
A moment later, you can hear the cheers and whoops from across the field.
You turn back to Severus, afraid of what youâd find. Heâs gazing at you with a terse expression on his face as you gulp anxiously.
âIâm sorry. If youâre not okay with itâŚâ
âNo. You are not going to bail out on him,â he says, the firmness in his voice catching you by surprise. âI know how long youâve been waiting for this. And this is something you need to learn to do, getting your hands on the things you want. Youâre a Snape, you always get what you want, you hear me?â
You nod helplessly.
âAnd if what you want is Potter,â he sneers, âThen Potter it is. Just donât expect me to play nice.â
A small smile graces your lips. âThank you.â You know heâd understand what you meant, all the things you were thanking him for.
You can see him start to soften, though perhaps that frown would be etched on his face permanently. He sighs, âYes, yes. Youâre welcome.â
Lily squeals and forcefully turns you towards her, gripping your hands. âThis is awesome.â
âYouâre just glad he doesnât like you.â
âAm not!â she exclaims, but the mirth in her eyes betrays her.
You sigh, smiling bemusedly as you lie back down on her lap, watching her continue to craft the flower crowns. Maybe youâd give James one tomorrow, though you doubt he could look more beautiful than he already did.
