I Feel Like The Reason Why People Ship Suzie With A Lot Of Characters In Doodle World, Such As With Portia
I feel like the reason why people ship Suzie with a lot of characters in Doodle World, such as with Portia and Quincy, is because she's the only character that's actually emotionally and mentally stable. (Long Post, Rambling) For Portia, she came from an upbringing where she lost her mom and her father ran away, any semblance of connection had been severed, disjointed or not really that well established. The only two people that she cares about is Ellen and Quincy, she is so starved for connection that she is willing to look past Quincy blatantly disregarding her and calling her annoying, for a chance to be his friend. And with Suzie, she doesn't have to try too hard of impressing her or anything. She can just be herself and hang out with her. She is so often viewed as an executive that she doesn't get to be herself, people view her as "Rebecca's daughter" or just a worse version of Rebecca. With her friends, she actually gets to be her own person, her own legacy. She gives me Steven Universe vibes by the way she has a hard time living up to her mother's shadow. Now with Quincy it's a bit different, at least for me. (Omg rare Richcandy shipper here!!1!) Quincy is a rich snobby kid at the start of the story, but as time goes on, he learns and grows. His dynamic with Suzie is one where he gets more and more comfortable of letting himself be... himself like with Portia. We know he can be kind through his actions rather than his words, and with Suzie, it brings out those aspects even more. Suzie is someone who wouldn't judge or care about status, she came from von Sweetsville after all, the hood. Which is why she's so great as an option with Quincy. (I'm a sucker for the trope of rich snob being with the poor yet sweet character, it's too good)

Player in my head, is this kid who's not even trying that hard to do much, they're just going with the flow of things. Like on the day they get their doodle and enter the Key Hunt, they didn't even bother to brush their hair that day. Just put on a beanie and done. They got that messy morning hair that's somehow fluffy and really well kept despite not brushing or even touching it ever since they left home.
Actually, looking into Zavier and Player's parallels and how they reflect off one another. Like- Okay so I'm going to just ramble some nonsense. Zavier is this like person who only cares about the end goal, a person who doesn't care who he hurts or who gets hurt. Or that's what it looks like. As much as Zavier threatens and says he'll hurt people, he actually hasn't done that. He hasn't actually hurt anyone. He has yet to kill or injure anyone. Contrast that with Player who does care about the people around them. (At least in the Good Karma route). Since if you look at it, if they were like Zavier and didn't care about anything leading up to the end. Why should they go out of their way to do things for strangers if it doesn't benefit them in the long run? Player (In Good Karma route) does it anyway, purely because they want to help people. That's in stark contrast to Zavier. Who doesn't do much, instead keeps talking on and on about how he'll change things and how he's the savior of the island. Yet he hasn't helped anyone and has only caused problems. Zavier and Player are meant to be reflections of one another. One ideal to another. Player is all bite and no bark. While Zavier is all bark and no bite. (Lol bark and bite are actually moves in Doodle World)
Are ya'll from Icyridge? Cause ya'll simp for Riffraff so hard that ya'll probably hate DoodleCo and the Louis Fanclub.

Have you all noticed how both Quincy and Teneson seem to find Portia annoying and a bother? (More ranting) Teneson just talks shit behind her back during our second encounter with him, it just ain't good taste. But consider that Teneson might've had to be the one that Quincy spends a lot of time as a child. I'm thinking that Teneson rubbed off on Quincy. And this caused Quincy to be more of a snob outwardly. Which y'know fits him being that way due to Teneson rather than because of Charles. Charles wants to help the people on island; he sent his executives to aid in the island when the thunderstorm came and caused destruction and obstruction. In Sketchvile, he built a lab there so that the place would get more people going there. He cares about the people on the island despite how distant he is. Charles is what I believe where Quincy gets his deep-down kindness and care for the people on the island. I am a firm Charles believer, and I believe that he means well. He might be very distant, but goddamn does he try to help. He doesn't seem like the harsh and cold type of father or person, he seems like he's a genuinely well meaning guy. For all we could know, Zavier's mindset of "The ends justify the means" could come from Charles.
Yo partners, I got this image in my head that I can't exactly write into a fic but I'm sure y'all can. Player is up against the Shadow Clan, they have Anna in their clutches n' they are gonna kill her and take the key along with it. When all hopes seemin lost, Player steps in n' offers em a deal they can't refuse. They challenge 'em to a battle, one where Player wavers their prized keys in exchange for Anna's life. If the Shadow Clan win, they get their keys along with the Frigid one but they gotta leave Anna alone. If Player win, they gotta skedaddle and leave Anna alone. No keys for 'em Shadow Clan. It just seems better as a deal for 'em, if they win, the only thing they lose from the deal is Anna. And she's worth much less than four whole keys. Just an idea for ya'll writers. @dragonroar87 @gromicidaltomfoolery
