I think I would define my relationships and attraction as queerromantic more than anything else. To most outside people, my relationships are quite romantic, but internally, they're not romantic. But they're not queerplatonic or particularly platonic either. I feel like what I experience is both inherently different from romantic attraction, while also having quite romantic aspects. It's a queer approach to a romantic relationship, not because the people in it are queer, but because of the dynamics of the relationships.

I think queerromantic can come in many different ways. It can be either completely separated from romantic things and its own separate category, or it can be a different form of romanticism. I don't think it should be a distinct thing other than describing your relationship as queerromantic.
