Check Out My New Guy (:

A digital drawing of an undead drow. He is on the left side of the canvas, facing towards the viewer, with his arms held just away from his sides. His dark cloak is torn and damaged, and covers most of his upper right arm. His left arm is more exposed, but covered in more bandages than the right. His armor is dark leather. Most of his hair has fallen out with time.

On the right side of the canvas, there are some details about the character, including his name, class, and subclass. There are some design notes that include:
"Spiders." and "If he doesn't look like a Skyrim NPC, he's too saturated."
Underneath the text there are some of the colors used in his design.

He crawled out of his grave right at the start of the D&D campaign he's in, and I love him. (:

Fun facts about him:

He is full of nothing but spiders. No thoughts, no memories, only spiders.

I haven't taken much damage as him yet, but I'm not sure if he bleeds. The DM has mentioned that using hit dice will probably look like him sewing himself back together.

He's just a little raisin, my little thousand year old, mummified, religious sacrifice.

I need a little guy to use as a chew toy, to bury in the dirt to destroy emotionally and physically then bring him back and fill with bugs and mold and fungi and rot

I'm not sure how many more times I could get away with drawing the Devil even though I've only done it twice so far

maybe I'm just tired but I really need to make an OC or something that I'm content just drawing over and over again because it turns out I somehow am lacking in the inspiration department

ayo why did you whitewash ezmeralda ?

Hi!

I see where you're coming from, she is a little pale.

Aside from her coat, bracers, and hair, the base colors were all taken directly from art used in the Curse of Strahd module, which I grabbed from Ez's Fandom Wiki page. The changes I did make were to darken the hair, and make the jacket redder.

Her having slightly lighter skin was entirely unintentional. If/when I draw her again, I may fiddle with the skin tone a bit more, to make sure it doesn't look like I whitewashed her. For now, unless my CoS players ask me to change it, I'm not going to worry about it.

spider chatter whitewashing is a valid concern and its why I usually spend more time on the skin than any other part of the piece in this case that meant an hour and a half of flipping between the reference and my version until everything looked right

A sketchy drawing of a sheep moth, with torn wings. The larger set is quite pink, with black edges and dark circle patterns. The upper right wing is the most damaged, with more than half of the wing torn off, and haphazardly stitched back together, with gold thread.

The other set of wings is yellow, with small tears, and a stitched over hole.

He really left you on the sidewalk, didn't He? Shame they couldn't help much. At least you were warm for a little while; that's got to be something, right?

Shoutout to that moth my classmates and I found in elementary school on the wet sidewalk outside the door. Being picked up and taken into the loud room probably sucked, but at least you were warm for a few hours before school ended. Sure we had to let you go in the end, but I still hope your death didn't hurt too much.

Okay, solution found, I'll have a new DnD PC in a few hours, and he will be filled with bugs (:
