I've noticed I'm not great at describing NPC appearances, so I'm going to start making up for it with art, here's Rictavio, the... bard... and babysitter for three random children the party dumped on him.
Here's another NPC my Curse of Strahd players have run into: Arrigal, who, in my game, is the vampire spawn son of Madame Eva, and father of the dhampir Arabelle, thanks to me messing up the family tree a bit.

Mirella Staltenfort! (Made the name up but it's probably an actual name)
She's an Evocation specialist! She loves fire, arson, using magic, using magic to set fires and commit arson. She hates talking to strangers, making eye contact, making plans (she has high INT and WIS but does NOT use it), and taking risks
Also her eyes turn cyan when she uses magic :)

I introduce you to the goblin rogue pc of my D&D campaign, Goobins. We are all first time players. One time our sorcerer made him invisible, gave him a bag of holding, and set him loose at an artificers convention so that the rest of us could go over a strategy to infiltrate this important building. The first thing he did with the bag of holding was put another bag of holding inside of it. I love you, Goobins.
Some more fanart (?) from my current campaign. For context we (drow + half elf) were invisible and trying to convince this artificer npc that his invention was stupid, and that he was being gang stalked and followed.
We also eventually got him to set himself on fire.
