My Fantasy Bestiary: Dire Vermin

Dire Vermin are a magically augmented animal commonly found in a city’s less well regulated areas, they are the size of a medium dog, have the head and front feet and tail of a rat, the ears of a rabbit, the body and legs of a hare, and porcupine like quills on their head neck and shoulders.

Dire Vermin exhibit many powerful features, they can with effort fit through any hole large enough for their head, are very resistant to falls, and they have nearly unmatched resilience against poison and corrosion.

Mother Dire Vermin were long mistaken for being aggressively cannibalistic towards their young, this is in fact a very advanced use of their abilities, the mother instead isn’t consuming them but carrying them in her stomach relying on their resilience to protect them from her digestive fluids, which not only allows her to cary the entire litter safely and warmly, but also uses her stomach acid to clean them.

Dire Vermin are demi social animals, they have little territorial instinct and will easily cohabitate but lack a hierarchy, beyond joining into a swarm to attack intruders or prey, they are surprisingly intelligent, older females will instead of vomiting acid onto their young who have out grown stomach baths simply vomit into their mouth coating their tongue in acid and licking the youths to clean them.

Dire Vermin are often used as guard animals by gangs who will use chemicals to keep them trapped in cages until releasing them onto intruders or for pit fights.

Dire vermin are the Apex companion for Backstreet Rangers, providing them with a smart dexterous agile and sneaky partner, capable of learning to do amazing feats like untie knots or use keys, at the expense of their quills making belly rubs the only method of properly explaining that they are in fact the goodest boy or girl.

Death: always plays support learns the skills needed to build stuff ect because he knows the others wont still manages to be a solid early game carry because of raw skill, also has a DIY show he does with Azrael,

FURY JENKINS!: Will 1v1 you all any time, plays the most single player games, has girl power music blaring in the background, skips 90% of the dialog, will still rant for an hour if reminded Tali wasn’t an LI for femshep, takes the longest to master games because of her temper tantrums but slowly becomes the best at them,

War: Constantly costs the team wins by refusing to gang up on enemies, spends surprisingly long periods of time planning builds and everyone is shocked when they come together only for Death to remind them War’s good at mechanics, Spent most of his Fallout 4 LP with the Brotherhood before realizing they were evil and switching to The Minutemen,

Go right ahead, just promise to try and freak the players out with the eating their babies to cary and clean them thing,

AU where Illia ‘s parents never died she kept up the charade and eventually became friends with Weiss even following her to Beacon but because of the irregularities on her documents Glynda decides to phone all the students former schools and while Ilia passes Jaune is found out and Ilia ends up on team PINR(Pioneer) with Pyrrha Ren and Nora,

During the forest exam Ilia feels bad because both of Weiss’s first picks for partner got taken by each other, when she and Pyrrha bump into each other,

Later when Ilia thinks Weiss was killed she looses it and changes colors in front of her teammates, they all decide to keep her secret for her,

To kill the Death Stalker Ilia uses her whip to grab Nora’s hammer so she can swing Ilia who is holding Pyrrha’s hand and then throws Pyrrha at it she embeds her Spear in it’s face, after which Ilia does the same thing to Nora who throws Ren at it who uses his Aura to drive the spear through it’s whole body,

When the teams see Cardin bullying Velvet and comment on how it must be hard being a Faunus, Ilia agrees and is clearly upset, do to not wanting to blow her secret, So Nora jumps up and tells Cardin to pick on someone his own size, he then Points out Nora is actually smaller than Velvet, which causes her to pause admit he’s right, then flying spear his ass anyway,

it bugs me that we still don’t seem to have any videos mashing up Glimmer socking shadow weaver with the FALCON PAWNCH! like not the game or anime, wth is wrong with this fandom?
