watching one piece live action really puts into perspective all the times devil fruit users get called monsters and freaks in the anime. it's one thing to see luffy stretch his neck ten feet to head butt someone or see buggy rearrange his own body parts in a cartoon but to see it approximated in live action I'm like oh yeah. i would be pretty fuckin scared if i saw someone do that in person.
