What if, in Minecraft, holding a plant of some kind made it harder for witches to cause damage (makes poison fade faster, lowers damage from potion of harming, etc.) for a certain amount of time and it gives you some rare item/advancement based on the type of plant it is? This is based on the belief that a plant randomly dying is a sign that it absorbed a curse someone was trying to place on you.
