Hi guys I hope your having a great week! Since I’ve opened this blog I’ve been rly surprised by how many people like MDZS/CQL! Its nice to see how much of a community had been created.

I’ve been having some tough times at school, so although I love doing your requests, imma have to close requests for at bit. I’ll also try to make a masterlist, and I’ll answer any asks that I have currently (which is quite a few), before I reopen the requests.

What their drunk confessions are like (Pt4)

A/N: Pt 4! I am in love with XXC. Its just a fact. So I hope I did him justice! Enjoy!(Also its pretty long sorry)

Xiao XingChen:

This one is very different from the others

We all know Xiao XingChen is an angel so he probably thought he could drink a lot without getting drunk

But he was wrong

So now he’s drunk

And Xiao XingChen is 100% a giggly drunk

You were travelling with him and Song Lan

Song Lan had (Unwisely) left the two of you alone at the inn you were staying at, while he went to buy something

And XingChen wanted to have a drink with you

Now you were also a travelling cultivator who’d once belonged to a sect but had left

You shared the same ideals as the two men so they’d invited you to doing their expeditions

And you had

So you were now very close to both of them

But you and XingChen were slightly closer

Because he was in love with you

And (Surprise!) you were in love with him too

But you’d never said anything because he was so sweet and you didn't wanna ruin it

And now he was drunk and Song Lan would probably blame you

You had tried to stop him!

But he’d been able to convince you that he could take it

And now he was drunk as was practically laying on top of you

He wouldn't stop giggling and acting like a child

“Ah-Y/N!” He said between giggles

“Your hair is so prettyyyyyy”

Que more boyish giggles

“Look! Your face is all red! Are you drunk Ah-Y/N?”

His face was now so close to yours and you were getting stares from the other people in the inn

You decided to get your drunk friend out of there

“Come Ah-Chen, lets go to our rooms”

He didn't protest, but he clung to you as you dragged him up all the while giggling and poking at your hair and cheeks, uttering words between giggles

When you finally got the the rooms, you sat him on his bed and gave him some water

After drinking it he sat quietly for a but before getting up awkwardly to go sit next to you on your bed

Once comfortably seated, he leaned towards you and

“Ah-Y/N... D-do you like Zichen?”

You were slightly bewildered, but you didn't do anything about it, choosing to answer his question simply

“Of course. Both you and Zichen are my greatest friends.”

His boyish grin was back as he giggled again

“I’m more than just your friend Ah-Y/NNNNNNN! I love youuuuuuu! Do you love me too Ah-Y/N?”

Even in such a drunk state, he was so cute

And for the life of you you couldn’t tell if he was being serious

“O-of c-course Ah-Chen...”

The look on his face was priceless

“Really?” He practically yelled before crushing you in a hug, burying his face in your hair and muttering sweet things to you

You just lay there, trying to process what had just happened

Had all that been real or was it just a side effect of the drinks?

Just then, Song Lan returned from his shopping

The look on his face said it all as he stared at you

“What happened?” He muttered putting down what he’d bought

Xiao XingChen was off you in a heartbeat, a huge smile on his face and rosy cheeks as he told Song Lan what had happened

“Ah-Y/N said she is in love with me!”

Song Lan looked at you surprisedly before grinning at you

It wasn't often that you could see Song Lan grin

You felt really embarrassed

“I love her and she loves me too! Isn't that great Zichen?”

Song Lan nodded gently at the drunk man before gently ushering him into bed, you trying to calm your beating heart the entire time

Until

“Ah-Y/N! Come sleep with meeee!”

Seeing the look on your face, Song Lan couldn't stop laughing

How about Nie Huaisang for the character thing?

A/N: Sorry for answering this a little late :). Hope you like it!

1) How I feel about this character

I love him. I know he’s done some pretty bad stuff and all, but I cant hate him. He’s just so sweet and pure at the beginning, I cant loose that image of him. I know what he did with MXY was wrong (along with other things), but I still can’t hate him you know? I know I say this a lot (like wayyyyy too much) but he’s one of my favourite characters (with like 50 others lol). The way he did all that scheming for his Da-Ge is just... so sweet and sad and ah it makes me so sad... I feel like his revenge was well done along with his character development so yeah, I love him

I mean look at this bbyyyyy! I just wanna hug himmmmmm!

2) All the people I ship romantically with this character

Oof so this is a tough one. I do ship Sangcheng to an extent, because their both lonely at the end and I would never like that for either of my bbys. There’s no one else really because I just feel like Huaisang is just very good alone I guess? If that makes sense? I just want him to be happy :’(. But truly I think that Jiang Cheng and him would make a pretty good couple.

3) My non-romantic OTP for this character

THIS ONE IS EASY! THE NIE BROS ARE THE BEST! But no joke I really like that relationship, because its so cute! Like I just love the whole brother dynamic they have (sure its not always amazing but its pretty darn good). I also rly like pre sunshot campain, JGY and NHS’s relationship. But then, well that one definitely does not age well...

4) My unpopular opinion about this character

Do I have one? I know loads of people think that he became a villain but I still see him as a cinnamon roll. I cant seem to make myself villainously see him, no matter what he’s done. Is that an unpopular opinion? Its the best could come up with

5) One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon

Just like with XY, I don't think I want to fix canon. I mean sure it would be nice if he hadn't done bad stuff towards the end, but whats a good character without some chaos and bad decisions? I like him just the way he is. (But could we maybe give him his Da-Ge back?:”()

Lan Sizhui:

So with Sizhui, your first date was a small picnic in the backwoods of Cloud recesses

He had finally had the courage to ask you out, and had been ecstatic when you’d said yes

You were one of his best friends since childhood, and he’d known you for as long as he could remember

You were also a Lan Clan disciple, although your personality was somewhat closer to Jingyi’s, since you always had a slight disregard for the rules

So although picnics in Cloud Recesses weren't technically allowed, the two of you had decided to anyways

Sizhui had prepared everything

Since it was his first date ever, he’d wanted everything to be absolutely prefect for you

He had prepared a nice place for you to sit (coincidentally close to his father’s rabbits, so that the two of you could play with them), a nice basket full of food (and I mean good food, none of that cloud recesses tasteless slop), and a blanket for you if ever you were to get cold

Although he was nervous, he didn't let it show

When you finally arrived, he was very exited

He tripped over a few words and was blushing quite a bit, but other than that everything ran smoothly

Needless to say, he was quite proud

Then as the date came to a close, it was time for what Sizhui had been dreading (and looking forward too at the same time)

It was time for his first kiss

He was really nervous since it was his first time

And what if it wasn't yours?

What if you had more experience than him, and noticed that he was a bad kisser?

He would be so embarrassed!

But he really wanted to kiss you...

The time went by too quickly, and you had already finished packing by the time this train of thought was still ripe in his mind

“I really enjoyed this” You said, gently turning towards him, standing only inches away

You looked so pretty, and he really wanted to just kiss you...

His mind was racing trying to decide what to do

You on the other hand could see how nervous he was

And it didn't take a genius to realize why

Jin Ling

Your first date with Jin Ling was a bit different

Since he’s a “real man” romance and affection are out of the question (right jiujiu?)

But when he falls for you he knows he has to do something about it

So he sorta kinda invites you to go shopping with him in Lanling

Although he’s really offhanded about it, you know how sincere he is deep down

So you say yes

And ofc he acts really non nonchalant about it, like of course you would want to go shopping with him, he’s the best

But inside he’s really excited that you’ve accepted

So he hatches an entire plan of action to get him to fall in love with him

First you guys just wander around the market for a bit

Looking at the wares, and occasionally stealing loving glances at each other,

Although neither of you ever catch the other looking

Then you guys head to your favourite restaurant for lunch, which is entirely covered by him

During lunch he’s unnaturally nice, doing his best to make you laugh and smile

Although you noticed his change in demeanour, you didn’t say anything and simply chose to enjoy his presence

After lunch, you returned to the market

You browsed a little more before walking back to carp tower

By then it was already dusk

So the two of you went to sit in the pavilion where Jin Zixuan had planted lotuses for Jiang Yanli

This was where his plan would end with the grand finale

A kiss

He was very nervous for this moment

He’d never kissed anyone before

What if he messed up and made a fool of himself?

You on the other hand had had the most amazing day

You’d never seen Jin Ling be so sweet to anyone, and you knew with all your heart that all his gestures today had been genuine

And you wanted to repay him

So you gently took his hand

When he looked at you he looked quite nervous, but you didn't take any notice

Instead you leaned in and quickly stole a kiss

It didn't last very long but it was sweet

His lips tasted of candy and although he was surprised at first, he quickly reciprocated, kissing you back

When you pulled away he was very red, and quickly looked away, embarrassed

But you weren't done yet

“Ah-Ling...”

He looked at you

“Thank you...”

You giggled at the flustered look on his face

He was really sweet when he wanted to be, you decided

“We should do this again”

No amount of embarrassment could hide the happiness on his face as you said that

Jiang Cheng:

Unlike Lan Xichen, Jiang Cheng would be drunk on purpose.

Knowing this grumpy sect leader, it would just be because he’d had an exceptionally hard day

Jin Ling had thrown a fit, the sect was hard to lead and he was generally in a bad mood

As always

When Jiang Cheng got drunk, he would either become even angrier or kinda sad

Today he was the latter

He started reminiscing on times he’d spent surrounded by his loved ones, by Wei Wuxian and Jiang Yanli, with his parents

And then he thought of how twisted and old he’d become, so weighed down by pain

 Deep down through all that sadness, he really just wanted to feel loved again

And then there was you

He’d met you in cloud recesses when they’d gone for lectures

You were one of the top disciples of the C/N clan

He’d admired you from afar as you’d become great friends with his sister

You’d eaten dinner with them, and spent most of your time at the lectures with Yanli

She would always say that you were like a sister to her

So it would only make sense that you stuck with her through sunshot campaign

And her marriage

And her death

She made you Jin Ling’s godmother

Which meant that you stuck with Jiang Cheng when he took Jin Ling to Lotus Pier

He tried to make you leave many times, since you were a sore reminder of his sister

But you knew he needed you

I mean, this is Jiang Cheng

How is he gonna raise a kid on his own?

And so over the years you’d grown a bond

And he’d fallen in love with you

After all, you were the only one still by his side

The only one who showed care to him

He needed to talk to you, he decided

So he left his office to find you

He asked many servants where you were before finally finding you

You were exiting Jin Ling’s quarters after having put him to bed

Jiang Cheng bumped right into you as you were gently trying to close the door, causing you to slam it

You whirled around in surprise and was about to scold him, until you saw the tears on his cheeks

You were about to ask him what was wrong, but before you could say anything he had you pinned against the wall

And his lips where on yours, sloppily kissing you

You could taste the liquor on this breath, but you were to caught in the kiss to really notice

He broke away first

“Y/N…” he whispered, leaning down to wrap his arms around you, in a sort of hug

But because he was so tall, he kinda crushed you against the wall

It was uncomfortable, but you hugged him back

“A-Cheng,” You whispered, confused and slightly worried

Clan Leader Jiang was not known to cry very often, if at all, so your worry was justified

“Are you alright?”

“Y/N,” He said, so low you barely heard it, from right next to him

“I l-love y-you…”

And then he passed out

Leaving you to carry him to his room

It took you forever, but you finally got him in the bed, and tucked him in

And then you sat next to him, to process this new information

He loved you?

Could it be possible? You’d always felt like you were closer than just friends, but you’d always thought the feeling was one sided

And maybe it was just the alcohol talking

You decided to wait until tomorrow, and if he remembered, then you would confront him about it

The next morning you got up early to check up on him

You knew how wicked hangovers could be, so you made him tea and brought it to his office

And just as you supposed, he had a terrible headache and was in an exceptionally bad mood

But as soon as he saw you, he went silent, sparing the disciple he’d angrily been shouting at

You dismissed said disciple as you put the tea on his desk

Then you chanced to look at him

His face was very red as he avoided your gaze

He clearly remembered

Which was good, because so did you

“A-Cheng, we need to talk”

His head snapped up to look at you

He looked afraid, and very embarrassed

He looked away

“What you told me yesterday. Did you mean it?”

He looked back at you annoyingly

“I dont know what you are talking about. I was drunk.”

For all the years you’d know him, Jiang Cheng had never been a good liar

“A-Cheng… Did you mean it? Please I really must know.”

You sounded more desperate than you wanted too, but you just wanted to know

“yes…”

It was no more than a whisper, but it was all you needed

You closed the distance between you and kissed him passionately on the lips

He was surprised at first, but quickly reciprocated, kissing you back with as much passion as last night

When you pulled apart, you couldn’t help but laugh at him, face as red as a tomato and looking as shocked as you’d ever seen him look
