What their drunk confessions are like (Pt3)

A/N: I cant seem to write Huaisang with a good ending I don't know whyyyyy... But here you go!

Nie Huaisang:

As we all know Huaisang is somewhat a complicated character

I think that he got drunk for fun

Without thinking about the repercussions that could have

He’d just gone out for drinks with his bff Wei Wuxian in Qinhe and got drunk

You were someone quite special to him, although no one else knew about you

You had been his maid since he was very young, maybe ten or eleven

You were only slightly older, almost the same age as him

You came into the service of the Nie clan a bit after the death of his parents, so it was a really had time for both him and his brother

You had also just lost your parents, but since you didn’t belong to any clans and had no one to take care of you, it was either this or the whorehouse

And there was no way you were going there

So you became a maid

You were really good at cleaning and cooking as well as a special skill in braiding

So the head maid put you in charge of the young master

The headshaker, the one and only Nie Huaisang

You were really nervous to be directly serving a Young Master, because that job was much more difficult than simply being a maid

You had to bring him his food, braid his hair every morning and take it out every night, and accompany him when he went certain places

And since you’d only really had contact with Nie Mingjue before, you were afraid of what the young masters temper would be like

So you were really surprised when you finally met him

He was gentle, kind and terribly shy

And so you became quick friends

You were his only friend what with his brother having to lead a sect and the others scorning him for his lack of talent on the battle field

But you’d always been there for him, by his side

You knew the real Huaisang, the one who liked painting fans and being artistic

The sweet kind little boy who was terrified of his brother

And that’s why he loved you

He never had to hide anything from you, since you knew almost everything about him (this would change rly soon but let’s not focus on that)

He’d gone down to the village for drinks without telling anyone, so when he returned, you were right there waiting for him, worried as hell, with Mingjue by your side

“Young Master!” You called as soon as he entered your view

You could feel his brother seething next to you

He always scared you, but protecting Huaisang was your job, especially since Meng Yao had been sent away

He walked up to the two of you and it was obvious that he was drunk out of his mind

“Y-Y/N, D-Dage. How are you d-doing tonight?” He slurred, barely able to pronounce words

“Where were you?!” Mingjue yelled, startling both you and Huaisang

“I went to drink with Wei W-wuxian. You should have come Ah- Y/N it was so fun. You too Dage. You need to have fun sometimes” He answered, gently slapping his brother’s chest and sending you a flirty look

Nie Mingje was seething

“Ah-Y/N. Take Huaisang to his room and send him to bed. I will deal with him tomorrow.” He said before angrily huffing away

Crisis adverted for now

Now all that you had to do was carry your drunk master through several flights of stairs, without him helping you in the slightest

Every so often he would mutter something incoherent, but nothing you were able to understand

At the top of the fourth flight of stairs however, your arms felt like they were gonna fall off and you leaned him against a wall to take a break

But he got up immediately, and walked over to where you were panting to regain your breath

“Ah-Y/NNNNNNN,” he whined “Why did you let go of meeeee”

He then leaned against you and toppled the two of you onto the floor, where he lay on top of you

From under him you could hear him mumbling things again although you could hear them now

“You are so pretty Ah-Y/N. Do you know that? Your hair is so pretty and you smell so good and your eyes are so pretty and you are so soft…”

You were now very embarrassed, face very warm and pulse rushing

“Young master, you must get up…” You begged softly, although you never wanted this moment to end

You’d always thought that he was way out of your league because of his status, but hearing him say things like this…

You could almost see it

Almost

“Ah-Y/N, I wanna stay with you forever…”

But no

His brother would never allow it

So with all the remaining effort you had, you pushed him off and ignored his protests as you dragged him to his room

You quickly undid his braids and tucked him in bed

He fell asleep almost immediately

You knew he would have a hard time tomorrow, and you would do your best to save him from his brother

As you walked back to your room however, you couldn’t help but think of what he’d said

Had he meant it?

No… You couldn’t let yourself think like that

Even if he had, it didn’t matter

He was your master and you his maid

And It would always remain like that

Xiao XingChen:

This one is very different from the others

We all know Xiao XingChen is an angel so he probably thought he could drink a lot without getting drunk

But he was wrong

So now he’s drunk

And Xiao XingChen is 100% a giggly drunk

You were travelling with him and Song Lan

Song Lan had (Unwisely) left the two of you alone at the inn you were staying at, while he went to buy something

And XingChen wanted to have a drink with you

Now you were also a travelling cultivator who’d once belonged to a sect but had left

You shared the same ideals as the two men so they’d invited you to doing their expeditions

And you had

So you were now very close to both of them

But you and XingChen were slightly closer

Because he was in love with you

And (Surprise!) you were in love with him too

But you’d never said anything because he was so sweet and you didn't wanna ruin it

And now he was drunk and Song Lan would probably blame you

You had tried to stop him!

But he’d been able to convince you that he could take it

And now he was drunk as was practically laying on top of you

He wouldn't stop giggling and acting like a child

“Ah-Y/N!” He said between giggles

“Your hair is so prettyyyyyy”

Que more boyish giggles

“Look! Your face is all red! Are you drunk Ah-Y/N?”

His face was now so close to yours and you were getting stares from the other people in the inn

You decided to get your drunk friend out of there

“Come Ah-Chen, lets go to our rooms”

He didn't protest, but he clung to you as you dragged him up all the while giggling and poking at your hair and cheeks, uttering words between giggles

When you finally got the the rooms, you sat him on his bed and gave him some water

After drinking it he sat quietly for a but before getting up awkwardly to go sit next to you on your bed

Once comfortably seated, he leaned towards you and

“Ah-Y/N... D-do you like Zichen?”

You were slightly bewildered, but you didn't do anything about it, choosing to answer his question simply

“Of course. Both you and Zichen are my greatest friends.”

His boyish grin was back as he giggled again

“I’m more than just your friend Ah-Y/NNNNNNN! I love youuuuuuu! Do you love me too Ah-Y/N?”

Even in such a drunk state, he was so cute

And for the life of you you couldn’t tell if he was being serious

“O-of c-course Ah-Chen...”

The look on his face was priceless

“Really?” He practically yelled before crushing you in a hug, burying his face in your hair and muttering sweet things to you

You just lay there, trying to process what had just happened

Had all that been real or was it just a side effect of the drinks?

Just then, Song Lan returned from his shopping

The look on his face said it all as he stared at you

“What happened?” He muttered putting down what he’d bought

Xiao XingChen was off you in a heartbeat, a huge smile on his face and rosy cheeks as he told Song Lan what had happened

“Ah-Y/N said she is in love with me!”

Song Lan looked at you surprisedly before grinning at you

It wasn't often that you could see Song Lan grin

You felt really embarrassed

“I love her and she loves me too! Isn't that great Zichen?”

Song Lan nodded gently at the drunk man before gently ushering him into bed, you trying to calm your beating heart the entire time

Until

“Ah-Y/N! Come sleep with meeee!”

Seeing the look on your face, Song Lan couldn't stop laughing

A/N: Part 5 yay! Hope you enjoy!

Lan SizHui:

Just like XXC, Lan Sizhui is an angel

So he also probably didn't get drunk on purpose

And even when he was drunk, you probably couldn't even tell

It was one warm night in Gusu

After a long harrowing night hunt with the juniors, everyone had decided to stay one night in Gusu to recuperate

So to celebrate the end of the night hunt, the juniors decided to have drinks (even though it is illegal in cloud recesses, Jingyi was able to convince sizhui)

You were a junior as well, from the C/N clan

You were really close with the junior quartet (yes, Zizhen too give my boy some love), having befriended them during the many inter clan night hunts

You were closest with Zizhen and Jingyi, since all three of you were closest since you shared the same sense of humour and all enjoyed playing around the most

SizHui and Jin Ling were slightly more of a mystery to you

Jin Ling was just kinda bratty, and although you two were close friends, you also argued a lot

And SizHui generally didn't speak to you

Not because he didn't like you, no, it was because he liked you a little too much

He had a huge crush on you

And so, he never really knew how to approach you, let alone ask you to court him

So being drunk was the perfect excuse

The five of you had gotten some emperors smile and were now drinking it in a common room you had rented

And now you were surrounded by four drunk boys

Jin Ling and Jingyi were definitely very drunk, arguing over some pointless thing

Zizhen was in a corner, crying his eyes out (he was 100% drunk as well)

And Sizhui sat next to you, downing his fifth of sixth  cup, nothing but slight red cheeks to show his drunkenness

You had only had a single cup, since you didn't really like the taste

Whenever you and Sizhui were alone together, you would generally be in comfortable silence

Now that he was drunk however...

“Ah-Y/N,” he started, soft and gentle voice slightly wavering, “We are friends aren't we?”

You looked at him puzzledly, before nodding

“Well, I-”

Whatever he’d been about to say was cut off by a loud Jingyi, as he sat down right between the two of you, effectively separating you

Then he turned to Sizhui and said

“Are you finally gonna ask her to court you?” Then with a huge shit eating grin he added

“Zizhen, Jin Ling! Sizhui is asking Ah-Y/N to court him!”

Jin Ling turned to them, but made no move to come over

Zizhen however immediately smiled and came over to where you were sitting

“Really? I knew you wanted to Sizhui, but I never thought you’d do it so soon!” he exclaimed, coming to sit with them as well

By now Sizhui’s face had reddened so much he practically looked like a tomato

You tried to catch his eye but he seemed to be doing everything in his power to not look at you

He was really embarrassed and although he had been meaning to ask you, this was not how he had meant to go by it

“Well? Are you gonna ask her or not?” Zizhen mumbled, clearly impatient

Sizhui looked like he was about to implode

You knew you had to do something to save your poor friend

And so you did

“If Sizhui wants to ask me something, he can do it whenever he wants to. Stop pressuring him”

You could see Sizhui relax, even if it was only a bit

Jingyi and Zizhen however in turns annoyed and let down

“Fine then... Come on Zizhen.” Jingyi muttered, getting up along with Zizhen and going to whisper to each other on the far end of the room

Which left you and Sizhui  alone

The comfortable silence that you had was now long gone

Somehow, Sizhui was the first to break the silence

“I’m sorry I put you in an uncomfortable position...” he said softy, almost a whisper

“Nonono! It’s okay!” You you scrambled to say, tripping over your words in a rush to get them out

Only then did he truly look at you, and you could see something a little but like hope in his eyes

“Was Jingyi telling the truth or...” you muttered, unsure if you should continue the topic

Sizhui looked away, blushing more now, but he managed to nod all the same

And that was all the confirmation you needed

Since he wasn't looking at you however, you had to grab his hand to get his attention

“I would like that. To, um, c-court y-you i mean. I would like that a lot...” You mumbled

Now it was your turn to blush

But the smile that appeared on his face after he’d understood what you’d said was so bright that you almost entirely forgot your embarrassment

You just looked at each other, sharing a tender moment, until

“FINALLY!”

Jingyi and Zizhen (and even Jin Ling) congratulated you on your courtship for the next hour, until they all passed out from drunkenness, and you and Sizhui were finally able to share your first kiss

Lan Sizhui:

So with Sizhui, your first date was a small picnic in the backwoods of Cloud recesses

He had finally had the courage to ask you out, and had been ecstatic when you’d said yes

You were one of his best friends since childhood, and he’d known you for as long as he could remember

You were also a Lan Clan disciple, although your personality was somewhat closer to Jingyi’s, since you always had a slight disregard for the rules

So although picnics in Cloud Recesses weren't technically allowed, the two of you had decided to anyways

Sizhui had prepared everything

Since it was his first date ever, he’d wanted everything to be absolutely prefect for you

He had prepared a nice place for you to sit (coincidentally close to his father’s rabbits, so that the two of you could play with them), a nice basket full of food (and I mean good food, none of that cloud recesses tasteless slop), and a blanket for you if ever you were to get cold

Although he was nervous, he didn't let it show

When you finally arrived, he was very exited

He tripped over a few words and was blushing quite a bit, but other than that everything ran smoothly

Needless to say, he was quite proud

Then as the date came to a close, it was time for what Sizhui had been dreading (and looking forward too at the same time)

It was time for his first kiss

He was really nervous since it was his first time

And what if it wasn't yours?

What if you had more experience than him, and noticed that he was a bad kisser?

He would be so embarrassed!

But he really wanted to kiss you...

The time went by too quickly, and you had already finished packing by the time this train of thought was still ripe in his mind

“I really enjoyed this” You said, gently turning towards him, standing only inches away

You looked so pretty, and he really wanted to just kiss you...

His mind was racing trying to decide what to do

You on the other hand could see how nervous he was

And it didn't take a genius to realize why

So you decided to help him

You stepped closer to him and gripped his hands gently as you placed a short (albeit sweet) kiss on his lips

Then you quickly pulled away to wait for his reaction

If he’d been blushing before, it couldn't compare to how red he was now

But after a wile he smiled brightly, before grabbing your hands and kissing you again

This time though, the kiss was longer and all the more tender than the last

And even when it was done, you held hands all the way back to the dormitories

Jin Ling

Your first date with Jin Ling was a bit different

Since he’s a “real man” romance and affection are out of the question (right jiujiu?)

But when he falls for you he knows he has to do something about it

So he sorta kinda invites you to go shopping with him in Lanling

Although he’s really offhanded about it, you know how sincere he is deep down

So you say yes

And ofc he acts really non nonchalant about it, like of course you would want to go shopping with him, he’s the best

But inside he’s really excited that you’ve accepted

So he hatches an entire plan of action to get him to fall in love with him

First you guys just wander around the market for a bit

Looking at the wares, and occasionally stealing loving glances at each other,

Although neither of you ever catch the other looking

Then you guys head to your favourite restaurant for lunch, which is entirely covered by him

During lunch he’s unnaturally nice, doing his best to make you laugh and smile

Although you noticed his change in demeanour, you didn’t say anything and simply chose to enjoy his presence

After lunch, you returned to the market

You browsed a little more before walking back to carp tower

By then it was already dusk

So the two of you went to sit in the pavilion where Jin Zixuan had planted lotuses for Jiang Yanli

This was where his plan would end with the grand finale

A kiss

He was very nervous for this moment

He’d never kissed anyone before

What if he messed up and made a fool of himself?

You on the other hand had had the most amazing day

You’d never seen Jin Ling be so sweet to anyone, and you knew with all your heart that all his gestures today had been genuine

And you wanted to repay him

So you gently took his hand

When he looked at you he looked quite nervous, but you didn't take any notice

Instead you leaned in and quickly stole a kiss

It didn't last very long but it was sweet

His lips tasted of candy and although he was surprised at first, he quickly reciprocated, kissing you back

When you pulled away he was very red, and quickly looked away, embarrassed

But you weren't done yet

“Ah-Ling...”

He looked at you

“Thank you...”

You giggled at the flustered look on his face

He was really sweet when he wanted to be, you decided

“We should do this again”

No amount of embarrassment could hide the happiness on his face as you said that

Physical affection with them (Pt1)

Jiang Cheng:

When it comes to physical affection or any affection at all, you’re in for a ride

This grumpy sect leader is in need of affection but good luck trying to give him some

He will do everything in his power to run away from your love

Not because he doesn't want it, actually because he doesn't know how to react to it

Hes never really been given much love so just doesn't know what to do

But you know very well what he needs

So as much s he likes to escape, you don't let him

When it comes to being in public he “allows” little things like hand holding and maybe small kisses on cheeks

He never knows how to reciprocate, but he turns incredibly red when you show him an ounce of genuine affection

If the two of you are out on a nighthunt or in the market and you go to grab his hand, he will instantly blush and give you a look, but he wont pull his hand away

If anything, he’ll actually hold your hand tightly and won’t let go till the end of said trip

When it comes to being in private, like cuddling in bed, he will never initiate it, although he will show you what he wants

He will “subtly” nudge you while you’re in bed, but will never actually wrap his arms around you

He knows that you’ll always turn over and snuggle into his chest when he nudges you, and he thinks that you don't know how much he likes it

But you do

And it makes you very happy to see him blush

His kisses (those initiated by him) are few and far between generally saved for a special occasion like anniversaries, birthdays and long separations

But when he does initiate it, his kisses are surprisingly passionate

He will always grip your hands of your waist when he kisses you and will always drag it out, acting surprisingly sheepish when its done

He loves when you kiss him

Because of how gentle you are when you do

He loves when you gently gently run your hands up his chest and when you softly cup his face when you lean in to kiss him

It makes him feel so loved and cherished

Something he doesn't feel very often

He also loves it when you hug him

Just the feeling of yours arms wrapped around him and the warmth of your body make him so happy

He will occasionally wrap and arm around  your waist

Especially when he’s jealous

Which happens quite often

(Especially around Wei Wuxian)

No matter who you are or where you come from, Jiang Cheng will always  be worried that you will fall for his elder brother

Since Wei Wuxian is very flirty, when the two of you meet, he almost immediately starts his teasing

And because of how charismatic he is, the two of you definitely become quick friends

Which pisses off Jiang Cheng to the furthest extreme

And so, whenever the three of you are in the same room, Jiang Cheng is all over you

He goes from 0 affection to 100% love, arm around your waist, practically stuck to you

He would even go to lengths such as hand holding and even the occasional hug

Unfortunately for him however, Wei Wuxian notices this and makes fun of him for becoming soft

Which would promptly make him let go of you entirely

Needless to say, Jiang Cheng is a softie who needs love, but he tries rly hard to hide it

But don't be fooled by this grumpy grape, Jiang Cheng 100% needs love and it must be given to him promptly

What their drunk confessions are like (Pt 6)

Lan Jingyi:

So as we all know, although he’s not a very Lan-Lan, Jingyi is still, well, a Lan

Which means he has 0 alcohol tolerance

But he still agreed to a drinking competition vs Jin Ling during your stay in Yunmeng

The juniors were staying in Yunmeng while their seniors were at a cultivation conference

You were from the (C/N) clan, and you were really close to all the juniors

Jingyi in particular

The two of you were the troublemakers of the group

Whenever you were in Gusu, you helped him with whatever schemes he had planed, to the great annoyance of Sizhui

Sometimes you even get Zizhen in on it

After having known each other most of your lives, you’d (ofc) fallen in love with him

But you’d just stayed friends, and you’d decided that pining was the best course of action

Little did you know that you occupied Jingyi’s thoughts all the time

Especially now that he’s drunk

He was still sober enough to know that he’d lost the drinking competition to Jin Ling

Which was very embarrassing since you were sitting right there and had witnessed the whole thing

It wasn't much of a loss however since Jin Ling had gotten drunk as well

Sizhui and ZIzhen had gone to bed an hour ago, so the three of you were the only ones still in the dining hall

Until Jin Ling passed out

Then it was only the two of you

“Jingyi,” you whispered, “We should go to bed...”

His mind was so foggy that it took him a while to understand

He was much too focused on you, your face, your hair, your eyes, your lips...

Smirking he answered

“Together?”

You knew he knew what he was saying

And it made you so flustered

“N-no!” you managed to stutter

Which made Jingyi laugh

Which then made you laugh

The sound of your laugh made him so happy

After all he was the one who made you laugh

And he wanted to be the only one it make you laugh like that

Before he knew what was doing, he’d grabbed your hand

And clumsily pulled you closer to him

You lost your balance though and ended up on him

It felt so nice to have you so close to him

He would stay like this forever if he had the choice

But sadly as soon as you regained your bearing you quickly scrambled off him, muttering incoherent sorry’s

You failed to notice his disgruntled look

And the glimmer of determination in his eyes

He grabbed your hand again, except this time no one fell

Jingyi never thought twice about anything, and now was no exception

“Court me.”

He’d never been particularly good with words either

Even though he was drunk, something told you that he meant it

Your silence was killing him

He didn't think that this would be such a bad idea

He’d rather be in a room full of ghosts that wanted his soul than  have you say no

But you weren't speaking, so he pulled his hand away

His entire expression had changed

He was no longer determined or laughing

He felt sad and just wanted to sleep

But as he got up, he accidentally tripped and fell on top of you, leaving the two of you in a very promiscuous position

He just lay there above you, held up by his hands, and curtains or his hair falling into your face

“Jingyi...”

The sorrow you saw in your best friend’s eyes was enough to let you know how much he meant this

“You didn't wait for my answer...”

He just stayed on top of you, motionless, anxious

You giggled at his expression

He looked like such a lost puppy!

“Of course Ill court you!”

His smile was brighter than the sun

Then he feverishly pressed his lips to yours

His breath tasted of liquor and his scent surrounded you from all sides

To say the least it was intoxicating

You almost forgot where you were until,

“WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING?!?”

Jin Ling’s dishevel form stood barely visible in the doorway

You and Jingyi couldn't help but laugh

That is, until Lan Qiren returned

How about jiang Cheng and lan xichen with a lover who lost her memory in a night hunt accident and she forgets who they are but she eventually remembers everything ???

Jiang Cheng:

Jiang Cheng had met you during the could recesses lectures

You were from the Y/C and although you weren't their top disciple, you were still greatly skilled

You first drew his attention when you spoke up in front of Wen Chao

You’d been the only one

After that, you and Jiang Yanli were almost inseparable

Which meant you spent most of your time with them

And he fell in love with you

Fast forward to after Sun Shot

Due to your great friendship, you joined Jiang Yanli when she married into the Jin clan, by becoming a Jin disciple

When she passed however, you and Jiang Cheng were left as Jin Ling’s guardians

And so for the sake of simplicity, you joined the Jiang Clan

After that, you and Jiang Cheng spent loads of time together

And his old feelings rekindled

Then one night, Jiang Cheng (Awkwardly) confessed his love for you and the two of you (secretly) started courting

Although he was very busy, he still made time for you and he even found himself being kind and less angry thanks to your guidance

As a Jiang disciple it was your job to go on nighthunts, but Jiang Cheng (not so subtly) always made sure he was there when you did

But one day the aid of the Jiang sect had been requested to aid with some water ghosts close to Yunmeng

Jin Ling requested that he be allowed to go for practice and you and Jiang Chen had agreed

Once you got there however you quickly noticed that the threat was much worse than you had previous assumed

You all fought valiantly but quickly started to be overpowered  by the demons

Jiang Cheng was so focused on protecting himself and Jin Ling that he didn't notice when you got dragged under

Luckily, the Lan clan who had been visiting came to help and the issue was quickly resolved

You were rescued by the Lan disciples and although you were unconscious, you where still breathing

Relief coursed through Jiang Cheng until he noticed something much worse

Almost 25 years ago

Every tender memory shared with him was gone

Every moment, stolen kiss, passionate love making session, everything

He was heartbroken

And he blamed Jin Ling

After all, if Jin Ling hadn’t been there, he would have been able to protect you

You on the hand were trying to understand why your good friend wast speaking to you

Also why was this fifteen year old boy calling you his aunt?

Wasn’t he Jin Clan? Maybe Zixuan’s brother of something?

And where was Yanli?

“Lady Y/N! Are you alright! Do you remember anything?” asked one of the Jiang disciples

“Are we still in Gusu?”

The worry on everyone's face was evident

“Get the sect leader...” one of the disciples closest to you whispered

Then it dawned on you

“What year are we in?”

The answer was enough to confirm you suspicions

Then the disciple returned, followed by Jiang Cheng

It was obvious now

He was taller than you remembered and much more intimidating, not to mention a lot angrier

He slowly made his way to you and glared at everyone around you until they gave you space

Then, softly, he spoke

“Ah-Y/N... Are-Do you remember me?”

You could feel that you were missing a big part of the story but you nodded anyways

He let out a small breath

“What do you remember?”

“Not much... My last memory is of the Lan lectures”

His eyes widened in horror

“T-thats all!”

You nodded again

He quickly got up, an implacable emotion in his eyes, and started to leave

“Wait!”

He paused

“Where’s Yanli?”

The question struck him like a ton of bricks

With that single word, twenty five years plus of memories flooded your mind in less than two seconds

The marriage between Yanli and Zixuan, Jin Ling’s birth, Yanli’s death, and all those years spent in Yunmeng by Jiang Cheng’s side

Where you belonged

You couldn’t help the tears that rolled down your cheeks

“I'm sorry” he muttered

And he moved to leave again

“Ah-cheng...”

You got up and hugged him from behind, doing your best to put all your love for him into that hug

Surprised, he turned around to face you and you saw the single tear streaking down his cheeks

“I love you...” you whispered gently, pressing your lips to his

As soon as he heard your words it was as if a switch had been turned on in him

He kissed you back wildly

Putting all his unspoken love into it

He may have lost his father, mother, brother and sister, but you would make sure he never lost you

Lan Xichen:

It was a bit different with Xichen

Although you were an arranged marriage, you’d quickly fallen in love with his wit, kindness and gentle smiles

He’d fallen in love with your charm

You made the perfect couple

Everyone knew that the valiant sect leader of Lan would be nothing without his angel of love

Which he made sure to remind you of at all times

As often as he could, he would remind you of your meaning in his heart by giving you of a small gift or sharing a private moment together

And you would do the same, always giving him your time and love, making sure you were everything he needed

So you can understand how heart broken when you forgot of his existence

You had offered to help the Juniors with a nighthunt, to take the burden off his shoulders and allow him to do other things for a while

He was very grateful, and although you were his wife, he never doubted your cultivation skills for a minute

And he was right to of course, it wasn't your cultivation skills (or lack thereof) that got you in trouble

The Lan clan had been night hunting close to Yunmeng when you heard screams from a nearby lake

The Junior and you went to check what was happening and arrived to a scene of pure chaos

Jiang disciples where getting dragged under by some sort of huge water spirit, full of resentful energy

You immediately sprung into action, and with the aid of the juniors that you’d been accompanying, you all solved the problem

But in the process of saving everyone, the spirit hit you and sent you flying into one of the trees that surrounded the lake

When you awoke, you were back in Gusu, a very worried male by your side

He was tall looking and he seemed extremely worried about something

Although he seemed familiar, you couldn’t place where you’d seen this man before

“Ah-Y/N! You're awake! How are you feeling? Would you like something to eat? Or perhaps to drink?”

You shook your head as you moved into a sitting position

He and you were the only ones in the room

“I-Where am I?” You asked, trying to make sense of everything

The fear and concern that flashed across his handsome features was obvious

“Ah-Y/N... You you remember who I am?”

You shook your head

The heartache in his eyes was evident

He didn't know what to say

Neither did you

He simply handed you a ribbon and got up to leave

“The Juniors fished it out of the water. I-I will come back later...”

“Wait!...”

What had you wanted to say?

The hope on his face made you feel terrible

“Umm... Whats your name?”

His face fell immediately

“Lan Xichen.”

Then it hit you

“You remind me of my old friend Lan Huan...”

Hearing you words he rushed to your side, returning to his spot beside you

“Yes! I am Lan Huan! What do you remember?”

“I... You are Lan Huan? You've grown...”

His smile was blinding

At least you remembered a little bit

That was all that mattered

In his excitement, he didn't notice you leaning in to examine his face and accidentally bumped into you

With his lips

On your lips

That small gesture was enough to flood your mind with images of past memories

Memories of your first kiss, your wedding, your first time

You deepened the kiss, surprising him

But he quickly reciprocated, putting all his love into it

When you pulled apart it was obvious that you remembered who he was

And he was so thankful for it

It was then that he knew that he had to protect you at all costs, because he would never want to loose you again

Lan Xichen:

With Lan Xichen, physical affection is second nature to him

He loves you and he knows how to show it

Whether its small kisses on your cheeks whenever he can in public or heated makeout sessions in the privacy of your own home, he knows how to make your heart flutter (and beat right out of your chest)

He hates it when you get mad at him, so his solution to that is always to shower you in love and affection until you’ve forgotten why you’re mad at him (among other things)

He is a sect leader however, so it is difficult for him to always spend time with you, so when you do, he makes sure to make every moment count

This could mean many different things

During the summer and sometimes in spring as well, he will take you to the top of one of the many waterfalls in cloud recesses and you would spend the entire day talking and sharing passionate kisses, which occasionally lead to something else

During the winter he will make sure that you have a nice fire going on in your quarters and you will have dinner together, before he gently leads you to sit by the fire and talk, gently kissing you whenever he wants to

As a child, Xichen didn't get much physical contact with anyone, with his uncle being Lan Qiren  and his brother never wanting to hug him

This has made him a very touch starved person

Which also makes him pretty clingy, especially when your alone

He knows you both have reputations in the outside world, so he will never do anything too forward in public

But when you’re alone?

He goes all out

He won’t ever do anything that you don't want

But he will let you know what he wants

That whole kind well-behaved sect leader thing? Lies

He wants you to love him

He wants you to kiss him, he wants you to gently run your fingers through his hair as you whisper words of praise, he wants you to gently hold his hands whenever you can

And when you do? He’s always so grateful

Sometimes you even go out of your way to give him affection

Perhaps he’s walking through cloud recesses with Wangji

You’ll run up behind him and wrap your arms around him waist, burying your head in his hair (which always smells so good for some reason)

Then when he turns around to greet you, you’ll urgently press your lips to his, surprising him with how passionate you can be (and leaving Wangji thoroughly embarrassed and red)

He’ll chastise you for it afterwards, telling you that you shouldn’t do that to his poor brother, denying the fact that he’s the one who’s all red

But you know he loves it when you initiate the loving

When he’s really feeling lustful, his kisses will be ardent and fervent, his hands gripping your waist or not-so-gently cupping your face (it doesn't hurt though)

When he’s feeling more thoughtful and peaceful, his kisses will be gently and sweet and so very slightly shy

But whenever he kisses you, in any mood, it will be passionate and heartfelt

He loves the feeling of your warmth next to his when you sleep, and will generally want to be the big spoon although he’s been known to choose the small spoon on some more difficult nights

Since he’s started sleeping with you, he cant sleep as well alone which is why he almost detests going on really long night hunts without you

He also really loves holding your hand when you go to the market, or anywhere for that matter, although it always makes Wangji uncomfortable

Lan Xichen doesn't get jealous very often although sometimes he will feel threatened by someone

In which case, he’ll very passive aggressively make them leave

And if they persist?

He will kiss you on the lips, extravagantly

(Which makes Wangji even more uncomfortable:))

But no matter rain or sun, you know that your lover will always give you all the physical affection you need

Just make sure to give it back :)

Jin ling physical affection please?

Physical Affection with them (Pt 3)

Jin Ling:

Just like his uncle, Jin Ling is afraid of affection

But he craves it more than he knows

Having grown up with little to no physical affection, from either of his uncles, Jin Ling is very touch starved

But he repels affection even stronger than his jiujiu

If Jiang Cheng runs away from affection, Jin Ling sprints

He (thinks he) detests affection from anyone, but he (very) secretly craves it

So when you gently reach for his hand during a night hunt or hug him after long periods of separation, he loves it

But on the outside he tells you off and wrenches his hand away

“What did you do that for stupid?”

But inside his well guarded heart is melting

At first, it would hurt you when he said things like that, but you simply got used to it, and then proceeded to ignore him when he did it after that, opting to keep holding him as you wish

The only times he didn’t put up a fuss was when he was sad or hurt

He either didnt have the energy to tell you off, or he just wanted your love so much, he didnt even care what others thought anymore

If his uncle had gotten really mad at him, or if Jin Chan had pushed him around too much, Jin Ling would come to you, on the pretense of complaining, but he really just wants to feel your love

And you never fail to live up to his expectations

His first kiss was with you and every other kiss after that as well

After your first kiss, he was still too shy to initiate it, since he lacked experience, but you had no qualms

You would kiss him whenever you wanted to, which sometimes made him very shy since, well, he just wasn't used to such blatant displays of love

But he loved it when you did kiss him

Especially on the lips, with a loving passion that he had never felt before

When he initiated it (very rarely) its probably because he was jealous

Its always pretty sloppy and rough when he does, since he’s jealous and a bit angry

He’s not very confident in himself, so he wont generally initiate contact for fear of rejection

But every time he does he is relived to find that you rejoicingly accept it, which makes him feel loved

His preferred form of affection (that which he initiates most often) is either hugs or cuddles

When you're in bed together, he will always wrap his arms around you, but beware if you make any comment, he will leave you cold and alone for the rest of the night

If he hasn’t seen you in a really long time, when you meet again he will initiate a hug, but only in private

He absolutely loves it when you run your fingers through his hair, especially when you are cuddling

It’s probably his favourite thing you can do

But he will never say it so you had to find out by yourself when he accidentally let slip a sigh of pleasure when you first did it

His embarrassment had been evident, so you didn’t say anything

But you made sure to do it more often after that

When it comes to small things like hand holding and kisses on the cheek, Jin Ling will allow it in public, but will still complain, because he has his reputation to uphold

And if he’s jealous (generally of Sizhui), he will grab your hand and pull you to his side, which is childish, but makes you smile never the less

You know how low his self esteem is, so you make sure to give him lots of love, especially when he’s jealous

He knows that you and Sizhui are pretty close, and he knows that Sizhui is practically and angel on earth, so it would make so much more sense for you to be in love with him instead of Jin Ling, who is considered a spoiled brat by the majority of the cultivating community

You know that he thinks this, so when you're with the two of them, you make sure to stick closer to him, and make sure he knows that you are in Love with him

In the end, you complete Jin Ling and he loves you with his entire heart, and will do practically anything  you’d want him to do, just for you to stay by his side

Little does he know that he doesn’t need to do anything else to get you to love him, because your heart already belongs to him

How about a Nie Huaisang, Jain Cheng, Lan Xichen and Wei Wuxian s/o defected from the Wen clan to help them, but gets treated badly at the LanlingJin feast during the Sunspot events. How would they react?

A/N: I’ve actually had these written for while so hope you enjoy! (Also I wasn't sure what title Jin Zixun holds so i just wrote him as third young master)(Ps. I only wrote NHS, JC and LXC, hope you don't mind)

Nie Huaisang:

Nie Huaisang would never be the one to openly start a public riot, or any public confrontation at all, but when it comes to you, he’ll go all out

He won’t start a duel, or anything physical, although he will use his words

The one throwing accusations is Jin Zixun (of course cuz he’s a bitch)

During the SunShot campaign, you sided with the great gentry clans, even though you where a Wen

You held no high rank in the Wen clan, in fact, you were simply a disciple born into Qishan Wen

So when you’d seen what they where doing was evil and wrong, you’d deflected

On your way out of Qishan, you’d run into Nie Mingjue who’d allowed you to live, if you fought by their side

Since that's already what you’d been planning to do, you gladly accepted and joined their ranks

By then you already knew Huaisang (from the Lan clan lectures), and where already courting (which also sorta started at cloud recesses), so Nie Mingjue already knew of you

And he made sure to keep you safe

When you returned to the Unclean Realm with Mingjue, Huaisang was ecstatic to see you

And they invited you to join their clan, for fear of prosecution by the Jin clan, so you were now technically a Nie (Which ofc would be solidified when the two of you got married)

But for some reason, this didnt sit well with Jin Zixun who decided to call  you out at the flower banquet in Lanling

He walked over to where you were sitting, behind  Huaisang, and demanded to know why you left the Wen clan when they were still winning, claiming that such actions were very suspicious and that you were probably a spy

Before you could retort, Huaisang’s gentle voice interrupted you

“Of what exactly are you accusing my fiancee third young master Jin?”

Several badly hidden gasps filled the room

Due to your status, you hadn’t told the cultivation world about your courtship, let alone your betrothal

The only people who knew were 3Zun, one of which (Nie Mingjue) gave his brother a reproachful look

But Huaisang took no notice, and proceeded to get up to properly match Jin Zixun

“Perhaps you have drunken too much,” he said with a fake smile, as he removed the cup from Jin Zixun’s fingers

“You should go sit down”

In all your days you had never heard such menace in your beloved’s voice

And Zixun seemed to get the message since he left you alone

Then Huaisang turned to you, and with the sweetest and cutest smile, proceeded to ask if you were alright

Jiang Cheng:

With Jiang Cheng, it was different

We all know that this young sect leader has an explosive anger

And as you were his betrothed, he would do everything in his power to protect you

It had been Yanli’s idea for the two of you to get married, since you were very close to her (her best friend), you would be safe with Jiang Cheng, even if you were an ex-Wen

Similarly to with Huaisang, you had escaped when you had seen what the clan had been doing, and had joined the gentry clan, and had helped them win the SunShot Campaign

But your relations to the Wen Clan were no secret, and it bothered many people that such an influential member of the Wen Clan was still allowed to live

Which is what Jin Zixun seemed to want to know

Already parties and feasts where not your safe place, but with him trying to cause a scene, there was no doubt that you were no comfortable

“You are the niece of Wen Ruohan are you not? Why are you here? The Jin clan dishonours themselves letting a Wen wine and dine with them after all that's happened.

From beside you, you could almost feel the anger radiating from you beloved

“I mean no trouble” You said, in the kindest voice you could muster, but it did nothing, as Jin Zixun continued his verbal assault, not taking a second to hear what you were saying

After a while, it became too much for Jiang Cheng and he stood up abruptly, towering over Jin Zixun

“Shut up before I do something I may regret.” He growled, voice full of venom

This clearly rattled Jin Zixun since he backed away

But before he returned to his spot entirely, he spilled his drink beside you, muttering a “Wen Scum”

This sent Jiang Cheng into a fit of anger and without thinking about it, he unsheathed his sword and in an instant, he had it at Jin Zixun’s throat

This was when Jin Guangyao decided to intervene

“Sect leader Jiang you must forgive the third young master for his harsh words, we all lost much in the war, it is normal to have some reservations after what they did.”

But his angelic smile did nothing to calm your betrothed

“She is no longer part of the Wen clan, she is of the Jiang Clan now, and if anyone else dares to say another ill word on her behalf, I will not hesitate.”

And with that he re sheathed his sword and returned to sit beside you

After a bit everyone went back to their chatter, and the issue was forgotten

But Jiang Cheng would never hesitate to defend you against anyone if the occasion where to arise again

Lan Xichen

Similarly to the other two, you were also a deserter of the Wen Clan, but you had met Xichen when he’d been escaping cloud recesses

Instead of Jin Guagyao, you were the one who saved him and let him stay with you, in a little cabin deep in the woods in the mountains that you’d found and had decided to live in until this all blew over

But when it was time for him to leave, he’d wanted to take you with him, for he’d fallen in love with you, and he wanted to be the one to protect you from now on

You’d agreed and together had returned to cloud recesses and had fought in the war

And you had plans to get married soon after

But for now the two of you were attending the festivities in Lanling, more specifically the flower banquet

It had been problematic enough when Jin Zixun had asked your fiance and his brother to drink, but when he started talking ill about you, you could tell that Lan Xichen was on the verge of snapping

The generally kind and gentle sect leader was tense and rigid, and it was clear that he was not going to retain his air of elegance for much longer if the third young master did not shut up

“Third young master Jin, my betrothed is no longer part of the Wen Clan and fought valiantly by our side during the war. She was with me at every moment, so as such it is very improbable that she was trying to do any under cover work for the Wen Clan. I would appreciate it if you left her alone.”

The passive aggressive in his voice was striking and it was visible to all that Lan Xichen was in no mood to play

Jin Zixun gave him a look, but before leaving, he had a cup poured for you, asking you to join him in a toast

“To the destruction of the dreadful Wen Clan, and all of its fighters. Isn't that right Lady Y/N?”

The look you gave him was deadly, but you brought the cup to your lips never the less, until Xichen stood up, almost knocking Jin Zixun over

“That is enough third young master Jin. The family matters of my beloved are of no concern of yours. I will now ask you to please leave my betrothed and I alone.”

It was clear to all that he’d crossed the line, and Jin Guangyao came to your rescue at last, asking Jin Zixun to stop

He scoffed, but left you alone

As soon as everyone had calmed down, your lover turned to you, and kindly asked you if you were alright and if you wanted to leave

Although you did, you told him that it was alright, but he was by your side for the rest of the night and the next few days as well, defending you against anyone who dared insult you or your family

Jin Ling:

The first time the two of you met was on an inter clan night hunt

You were of the Lan clan and because you were kind and gentle (although sometimes opinionated), everyone liked you

Especially Jin Ling

During that night hunt however, Jin Chan and a few other Jin disciples decided to mercilessly tease Jin Ling over having missed a shot and failed to capture one of the flying demons as he had said he would

And of course, you were the only one to step up for him and tell them to back off

Which just made him like you even more

Several years later, the two of you became quite close and, along with Zizhen, Sizhui and Jingyi, now formed the Junior Quintet

And through those years Jin Ling fell further and further in love with you, every time you did a sweet action towards him or spoke kind words, his heart would soar

But unfortunately, since you were a Lan, you spent the majority of your time with Jingyi and Sizhui by proximity

And thus rumours grew that you and Sizhui were courting

Jin Ling did his best to ignore that hearsay, because if he were to believe it, his heart would break

But those rumours where unfortunately too easy to believe, what with Sizhui being the well-mannered, kind, gentle boy he was

It was quite probable that a respectable, not to mention super kind and loving and amazing person such as yourself would want to court someone like Lan Sizhui

Just by watching you, it wasn’t hard to see how such rumours may have been true as well

For example, every time the five of you where together and it was time to split up, you would always go with Sizhui, even when Jin Ling was left without a partener

Which made him undeniably angry

Just the thought of Lan Sizhui being the one to hold you when you are cold, to be the one to protect you from the dangers of the world, to be the one who would be allowed to marry you,

Those thoughts where enough to bring tears to Jin Ling’s eyes and make his anger flair up in his chest

But what could he do?

As long as Sizhui held such an important spot in your life, he could never dream to be the one at your side

And he couldn’t even hate Sizhui for it either

Sizhui was one of the only people he trusted, and was friends with, and that in and of itself was enough to make Jin Ling’s anger vanish to give place to sadness instead

Not to mention the fact that Jin Ling knew that no matter what he said, he couldn’t compare to Sizhui

He was prideful and short-tempered not to mention haughty and rude

How could you love him?

But this knowledge (albeit entirely false) didnt stop him from falling deeper and deeper in love with you every time you gently touched him, spoke some sort of kind word to him or spent a moment toghether

Like now

The path in the forest was muddy and gross, but you and Jin Ling had been assigned to take this route, so there wasn't much you could do

You had needed to split the group up again for nighthunt purposes, but this time, you’d also had Wen Ning with you, so he’d gone with Sizhui while Jingyi and Zizhen had been the second pair

Which of course left you and Jin Ling

When you could, you tried to be paired with Sizhui because he was like a brother to you and you felt safest with him

Being with Jingyi was non productive, since he was always too loud and being with Zizhen was also non productive since the both of you always got distracted talking to each other

And being with Jin Ling was nerve wracking because, well, how could you concentrate on the nighthunt when he was there?

He always wore the best robes and had his long hair styled in the best ways to make himself look attractive (even though he was attractive enough as it was without all of this), not to mention his sharp yet delicate features, and the constant look of, well you couldn't tell what it was but it was always in his eyes when he looked at you, and it was very distracting

And so you did your best not to look at him while you walked the path

Not that you had much time to had you even wanted to since the path was quite narrow and you were stuck walking behind him

The air was filled with awkwardness, and panting breaths as you walked further up the mountain

You decided to break the silence shortly after bringing up a series of short topics, perfect to make interesting conversation with him

You hoped that he didnt notice how nervous his presence made you

He on the other hand was angry

It was obvious that you did not want to be partnered with him, but you could at least make an effort to not show it

The way you avoided eye contact and only spoke in small talk, you would almost think that you hadn’t been close friends for the past few years

His mind was filled with these troublesome thoughts

Until

SPLASH

“JIN LING!”

The puddle that he had just stepped in was much deeper than he’d anticipated, and he’d lost his balance, falling into a meter deep of mud and slamming his head against one of the jagged rocks that adorned the side of the badly kept path

You quickly dragged him out, gently laying him on the mossy grass by the side of the path, making sure that there were no rocks under him, and began to examine his head

All the while, he was whining in pain, but it was clear that he’d hit his head quite hard because he looked quite dazed, as if he didnt know where he was

“Jin Ling, do you know who I am?” You asked, once you’d made sure to stop the bleeding

His eyes moved to your face and the change of look was instant

“Ah-Y/N. Of course I know who you are stupid,” but just then as he tried to get up, a searing pain shot through his head and his body fell back against the moss as he let out a groan

“Ah, don't move yet Ah-Ling, you hit your head very hard.” You muttered worriedly, pushing the loose strands of hair out of his face, and putting him back into a better position

When you removed your hands from his face, you could see the red tint that now covered his cheeks but chose to say nothing

“I will send a signal for the others to come help us” you said, reaching into your pocket for the signal, but his hand shot out and grabbed yours before you could get it

“Nonono that's not necessary I can keep going. We need to finish our task.” He said quickly and this time he was able to get into sitting position, although a wave of pain did cross his face

You knew how stubborn he could be, so instead of working against his will, you grabbed his hand to help him up

As soon as he was standing however, he grabbed his hand away, his blush even deeper than before

But you didnt care, all that mattered was his safety, so you took his hand back in yours and slung his arm over your shoulder, so he could use you as a support if need be

“Hey! W-what are you doing! Let go of me!”

But no matter his complaining, you still supported him as you walked, making sure that he didnt get hurt more than he already way

To Jin Ling, this was the most embarrassing thing that could have happened

Not only had you gotten stuck with him against your will, but he was now a burden that you had to carry!

He wanted to cry

Every time he tried to impress you, be it shooting a kite out of the sky, or slaying a fearsome demon, something bad would always happen and he would end up looking like a fool

And now, he’d been trying to take the lead, to show you that he was able to protect you, and all he’d been able to show you was how much of a burden he could be

The tears fell no matter how hard he tried to hold them

There was no way you could love him anyways, so what did it matter?

You, on the other hand noticed his crying immediately

You quickly sat him down and although he tried to avoid your worried gaze, you softly wiped the tears that had fallen

“Does you head hurt?” You worriedly asked, placing your hand at the back of his head where the wound was

It almost looked like you were about to kiss him

Jin Ling looked away, and did not reply

You quickly took the signal out and threw it into the air, where it exploded, notifying the others that you were in trouble

His expression changed instantly

“No!”

He made to take it out of your hand but it was too late

It was then that you noticed that he was still bleeding and that he was losing lots of blood

You held him in your arms as the rain started falling and didn’t let go until half an hour later, when Jiang Cheng came with reinforcements and Jin Ling was dragged back to the cloud recesses, half consious

When he awoke again, he was in a warm bed, and the sunlight was streaming through the windows

The sound of a waterfall alerted him to the fact that he was in cloud recesses

His head felt sore, but other than that there was no striking pain as there had been before

You were sleeping in what looked like a very uncomfortable position beside his bed, head on the duvet

He carefully tried to move you out of the way, but to no avail, since you woke up despite him trying to be quiet

“Ah- Ling your awake!” You shot up, gently pushing him back against the head board and grabbing the bowl of soup that was on the table beside you

“Its not as warm as it was before, but it’ll still taste good.” You practically whispered as you handed him the food

Once he was holding it stably, you fluffed his pillows and returned to sit on the bed next to him while you pressed your palm against his forehead to check his temperature

“I’m sorry.” He said all of a sudden, so out of the blue that you almost got startled

“About what?”

“I was a burden to you and we didnt get to finish our task.”

The look on his face was one you never wanted to see again

The warm feeling of his warm lips on yours stopped your nervous stream of words

The kiss was so delicate and gentle, almost as if a soft breeze would be enought to break it apart, yet so loving at the same time

Jin Ling didn’t get many chances to prove himself to you but this was one and you bet he would take it

If he could at least impress you with his bravery (by asking such questions without pause) then he would ignore the fact that as he had uttered those six words, his entire life had flashed before his eyes, and he’d been so undeniably scared that he’d almost peed himself

As a living corpse, Wen Ning didn’t think he could still get drunk

He was wrong

The liquor made by Senior Wen (in burial mounds) was strong enough to make even Wen Ning drunk

Which he’d never expected

But now, with his mind muddled by the drink and you sitting so close, Wen Ning was having more fun than he’d had in months

Alcohol made everyone more jovial and of course Wei Wuxian was telling the great tales of his exploits to a very entertained crown of Wen’s

You seemed to be very interested in what he had to say, laughing at all the right times, a smile so bright lightning up you face and Wen Ning couldn’t help but wish he could be the one to make you laugh like that

But unfortunately he didnt have any tales of immense bravery to tell

All he would be able to tell you about would be how he got pushed around and bullied for being weak

You immediately picked up on how his expression had fallen while looking at you

“Whats wrong Ah-Ning?”

He quickly snapped out of his thoughts and offered you a small smile

“Just thinking...”

It was clear you didnt believe him

The look of worry on your face made him feel bad

“Its really nothing Ah-Y/N, I was only thinking about Wei-Gonzi’s story.”

Your expression softened and you smiled again

Then, you scooted closer to him and grabbed his hand

“Come, let’s go get some fresh air”

Wen Ning didnt need any fresh air, but he would go anywhere with you if you asked him, so he got up and followed behind you

The only one to notice your departure was Wen Qing, but she did nothing, knowing of her brother’s feelings for you

Tugging him along gently, you went to sit by the small lotus pool that Wei Wuxian had built

You then let go of his hand, and patted beside you, telling him to sit by you

There was a calm silence, interrupted only by the sounds of the burial mounds

You looked so pretty in the soft moonlight, you lips slightly twisted upwards into a small smile, your posture entirely relaxed and calm

And when you looked back at him he couldn’t help but see a hint of fondness in your eyes

He almost felt compelled to spill his heart out to you, and tell you his deepest feelings of love and adoration for you

He almost wanted to tell you that he was in love with you

And he almost did

But something held him back

It was the same thing that held him back every single time

What was the point of telling you how he felt if you could never feel the same way?

It would only tarnish your friendship and make you pity him more than you already did

And he would never put any unwanted feelings on you

And so he held his breath and looked away

“What’s on your mind Ah-Ning?”

You could see that he was struggling to say something, and if it was what you thought it was, you wanted to hear him say it

You needed to hear him say it

And now that he was seemingly drunk, it would be the perfect moment

“N-nothing...”

You could feel the lie

You turned your gaze to him and pierced him with your gaze

The you gripped his cold hand again, which almost made him jump in surprise

“Tell me Ah-Ning, I can help you. I can see that its been bothering you. What is it?”

Your gentle voice and the fact that he had a bit too much to drink loosened his lips, and before he knew what he was doing, he was telling you how he felt

“You’re b-beautifull tonight, and I was just thinking about how nice you are. To me and to everyone, and, um, I really like, uh, being with you? You are so amazing Ah-Y/N...” he mumbled, avoiding your gaze at all costs

You on the other hand were ecstatic

You tugged his and and got up, bringing him to his feet abruptly

As soon as he was standing stably, you pressed a chaste kiss to his lips

He couldn't believe what was happening

It was as if all the lights had been turned off and the entirety of the burial mounds just faded away

Leaving him alone with the most amazing person on this planet

And you were there, looking up at him with bright, loving eyes, and kissing him

Could you... Could you truly love him?

Could it really be true?

He happily kissed you back, putting all his pent up emotion into it, always making sure that you weren’t hurt
