Noah Kahan: I have a deeply conflicted love-hate relationship with the place I grew up and the cognitive dissonance will drive this whole album.
Hozier: fuck yeah, Ireland!!!
Girls Scouts encounter Bigfoot the most frequently. Part of their oath is to keep him a secret because he’s very kind and makes up 30% of their revenue due to his fervent love for thin mints.
oh and let's not forget ofc that Alice called Gwen a "useless ass". which could mean nothing
MALEVOLENT REFERENCE?!!?!!?
This too shall pass but like holy fuck
~`'the forest guardian hides his face behind a mask for ages long,
no one knows how to find him, no one knows where he belongs.
and those who glimpse the shadow lurking in the gloom
see only a fox, as it slips into the room.
now, through the rain, the lonely guardian does run,
while the hunter's on his heels—will he face what’s yet to come?
soon we’ll know the answer, just wait for the storm,
in the heart of the tempest, fate will take its form'`~

Sometimes the mark of good writing is that it makes you really fucking angry at a character. Sometimes a character is so heinous and duplicitous that it makes you feel so fucking mad whenever they show up. The problem with this is that a truly hateable villain is usually not that fun if they keep winning for too long. You have to be careful. But when it's done right, when the character's villainy and overall awfulness make you mad just occasionally, when they're only around every so often, that's the fun part. Anyway this post is about Lady Ethel Mallory from Hello from the Hallowoods. Ive finally gotten to the part where she's pathetic and it's glorious
anyways i think if i were alice dyer id start fucking killing. i think she needs to do acts of incredible violence.
the magnus protocol explores some of the most gruesome and bone-chilling horror concepts such as what if you received an email
i know i’m on my jekyll and hyde bullshit rn but does anyone wanna see my designs for them from the book 👀👀
i read a lot of fantasy novels (like, a LOT a lot) and my current read is the pomegranate gate by ariel kaplan, a portal fantasy novel inspired by jewish myths and history, so when i say that it's one of the most fresh and unique books i've read in awhile and i genuinely have no idea where i think the characters and story will go next, that's one of the highest book compliments i can give

RHDHHAHAHASHSHSSHSHHSS IM SO NORMAL ABOUT THEM

This came to me in a vision. a stupid vision, but a vision nonetheless
listening to horror podcasts is so silly because ill be having the worst day of my goddamn life and ill be like.. you know what i need? to listen to this sad wet cat british man have an even worse day and ya know what it actually helps
one of my favorite ways to spend the time on this silly little app has to be looking up posts about songs or albums that i am currently obsessed with and see people sharing their love for them. i love it. i love seeing humans care so much about one song, each for multiple different reasons, to the point of writing so beautifully about their fondness for it and post it for strangers to see. it's like, you posted about this song in 2015 and your opinion about it resonates with me in 2024. i love it, please don't you ever stop.
I might get some shit for this but one of the reasons some of you have such shit critical skills/reading comprehension is because you’re adults who exclusively consume kids’ cartoons, ya books and fanfic and staunchly refuse to engage with anything remotely challenging which is how we ended up with people thinking harry potter is the apex of world literature or that dante’s inferno is the same as fanfiction. I love easily digestible things that are simply fun to consume but I’ve heard people say “ya is a vast diverse genre” and in the same breath add “I don’t like the classics (aka books that shaped, reflected and influenced the world) because they’re all boring and one genre apparently” which is a stance that is not so much anti-elitist as it is anti-intellectual.
Me now that it’s autumn, when The Fellowship of the Ring takes place:

ALSO i love you podcasts being largely removed from the capitalistic ideas that leak into big name shows and movies i love you podcasts not feeling the need to be advertiser friendly i love you podcasts produced in someone's closet out of genuine love and passion for the project i love you so much and you mean the world to me
