I really want to commend Alexander j Newell and Lydia Nicholas for creating a character and story line so emotionally compelling that now every time I see a drawing or a post about Sasha Racket I start to cry.

I'm not exaggerating on that.

every time I go into her Tumblr tag I think "this is the time that I'll be okay." but I always burst into tears.

please understand I absolutely do not mean this in a romantic or sexual way but every jonny/alex interaction has this exact energy

Thoughts on the trans Alice (mtf) and Sam (ftm) headcanons? :)

I tend to steer clear of canon discussion and avoid head-canons as much as possible since I don't really believe in the author-as-authority thing. That said, just to be clear, the character Alice Dyer is canonically trans.

Well howdy! And bless your heart for the compliment! Picked it up from our head of Production April Sumner who was Texan born-an-raised but moved to merry old England. She eventually tuckered me out on it and rather than pitch a hissy fit I just had to git. Might could I seem all hat no cattle using it but dadgumit, life's just too short for all that hollarin and fussin. Anyway, y'all have a good day now y'hear?

Hey y'all, Just thought I would try something this week and give a couple of thoughts on today's episode. (I might do it again in future, I might not, let's see.) Personal Thoughts: I have to admit I was nervous about this one. I have taken lead researching the historical elements of Protocol and part of me is always terrified that someone will drop me a line and be like "FYI this makes no sense" and then I realise they are right. That said, I have checked and double checked though so it's probably fine right? Also frankly I didn't really have to make that much stuff up. History in this period is absolutely bananas. Fun fact for this episode: The Gilded Gallows. Look it up. Backstage insight: I don't deliberately keep including Newton in my work. The guy just has a lot of links to him on Wikipedia y'know? Also I super enjoy writing old-timey. Just gonna throw out a thank you to Rusty Quill Productions because I'm listening to the RQG Metacast #9 about relationships and sexuality and I appreciate it so fucking much

I never had this sort of talk of representation when I was a kid and now it's out there and RQG is one of the companies I've personally heard that has so far advocated that topic in a concise way? (I know others have too but I'm focusing specifically on them)
