I worked from 8:45pm on Friday to 1:13am on Saturday. I got home about 2am and didn't fall asleep until closer to 3am.
My body had the audacity to wake me up at 7:32am. I said no, turned over, went back to sleep and didn't wake up again until 11:36am. I then curled up on my dad's bed while he was laying bills and fell asleep. I woke up again again at 3:15pm. I didn't move until 4pm.
Cool. All that's fine except for the fact that I now can't sleep. I knew this would happen, but it doesn't make me any less upset.
Now, do I read more fanfics (I just finished one, and then read an update on another) or do I work on my own WIPs?
Sigh. Tis the life of an unhealthy sleep schedule.
Maybe I should take my own advice...

Did you know that only 30%-50% of the world's population has an inner monologue?
Did you know that only 1%-3% of the world's population cannot see pictures in there head?
I fall into both of those categories. I do have an inner monologue, and I can't actually see pictures in my head.
So when I say anything along the lines of "I can see that" or "I can imagine that" I'm partly lying. I have to see a picture of what you want me to see before I can actually imagine it, y'know?
For example, you can describe to me, in great detail, your OC or a scene from a book. Unless you have a picture I can reference, I can't actually put those details together in my head to form a picture.
Does that make sense?
Anyway
Because I'm thinking about it, and because I should be asleep, here's a list of every (not all) "Holy --- Batman!" I've found. (Pulled straight from the internet because I can only remember 1 off the top of my head)
Taken from Batman (1966-1968)
"Holy Oleo!"
"Holy Graf Zeppelin!"
"Holy IT&T!"
"Holy Pianola!"
"Holy Rheostat!"
"Holy Tintinnabulation!"
"Holy Bunions!"
"Holy Nightmare!"
"Holy Uncanny Photographic Mental Process!"
"Holy Contributing to the Deliquescy of Minors!"
"Holy Knit One, Purl Two!"
"Holy Cinderella!"
"Holy Bouncy Boiler Plate!"
"Holy Reshevsky!"
"Holy Paderewski!"
"Holy Luther Burbank!"
"Holy d'Artagnan!"
"Holy Priceless Collection of Etruscan Snoods!"
"Holy Hole in a Doughnut!"
"Holy Astringent Plum-Like Fruit!"
Now, the only one I can ever remember, taken from Batman Meets Scooby Doo
"Holy jumping jacks!"
I'm gonna scream.
I had a thing all typed out, and I was getting to the end of the part and was almost ready to post it.
I had to leave the app to look something up, but I'm not making the same mistakes twice, so I made sure to save it before leaving.
Anyway, I save it, leave the app, go back in, and it turns out that it didn't save my progress. Great. I only lost one paragraph, so it's not that bad.
I left the draft to see if it was a glitch or something, but I pressed 'discard' instead of 'save' and now the whole draft is gone.
I don't have time to retype everything, but I'll forget it all if I don't do it now. I have to be somewhere in fifteen minutes. The story part took me 45 minutes to work on.
I'm going to scream.
Edit/Update: I got it all retyped and it's now posted. My dad joked about shutting the laptop on me and I told him I'd breakdown crying if he did that. It also doesn't help that the delete button and the edit button are right next to each other.
