-nostalgia, homoerotic, gorgeous

2. The Emperors New Groove

-nostalgia again, hilarious, found family sorta deal

3. Fantastic Mr. Fox

-im gay

4. Mamma Mia

-im gay the sequel, but also a theatre kid who cant act or sing

5. Moana

-stunning visuals, stunning music, im from aotearoa and i grew up reading about maui so seeing that represented was really speacial

6. gnomeo and juliet

-i don’t even know. music = good, shakespeare retellings = great, cast = stellar

don’t you hate when you’re listening to a song and think about how someone from your life would really love it, but you can’t tell them because of how badly you screwed things up with them in the past? because you were both too young and too emotionally inept to clearly communicate and now your relationship is rocky at the best of times and you can’t share the song with them because they would think that its a sign that you want to go back to how things were. but you don’t. because every time she tries to take things back to how things were without fixing the damage that was done i get overwhelmed and shut her out and shut myself down completely and you can't keep doing that because it inconveniences all of your friends?

i really don’t like it when people tell me things, but they phrase it like a joke ? and then also manage to say it like “haha you could never relate” but, i can ? and its the same sort of genre as “omg i need those pens in a line im just so ocd” and it infuriates me. like, you can be mentally ill without trying to be more mentally ill htan eveyone around you. there’s no award. you’re just invalidating people’s exepriences and making me feel like shit !

“yknow i JUST realised that it’s not normal to be heart-throw-up anxious about everything lol” or “ugh that’s just because im (deep inhale) sad i guess ahaha”

i don’t mean to invalidate experiences. but oh my lord it makes me so irrationally angry. especially when they say things like that, with either a) no warning or b) after you’ve been sharing something you’re going through. i dunno it just feels really off putting and like they don’t care

i’ve decided that to vent i will now add every new one of these i experience below

my mum just asked me to talk to her about how i’m feeling. so guess who’s going to a retirement home lol
