Heeey everyone… *slowly slinks into view* Sorry I’ve been MIA for a bit. The summers get crazy hectic for me and my family. I’ve been meaning to post content but I’ve been basically go go go from the moment I get up to the moment I get to either the hotel/b&b/family members house.

I’ve got several more chapters of The Yellow Rose written and some side stories as well. I just haven’t had the time to edit and perfect them before posting.

What I’m thinking of doing is putting The Yellow Rose on a longer hiatus (don’t panic, only for a bit) and we may be strictly shorts for the next little while. I’ve got my son’s birthday coming up and we’re in the middle of fishing season and then hunting season comes next. It’s basically how we provide meat for our family and close relatives, so this is a very important season.

But I promise you, The Yellow Rose isn’t going away, in fact I made myself cry writing a few things both out of sorrow and out of happiness.

I look forward to all of y’all reading it! Also I would just like to réinvite people to the asks. You can ask the characters just about anything and they will respond! Curious about someone’s feelings? Ask away! This includes for the Short Stories as well. I know I haven’t explained how our dear Scotty broke his leg yet so you can always ask about that.

Does that mean the timeline is a bit nuts? Ummm yeah. Most of the shorts either take place after The Yellow Rose or before. Weird I know. But these are pieces that don’t necessarily fit in the main story perfectly. But the shorts won’t spoil the main story. So feel free to ask! Camille has been bouncing off the walls waiting with anticipation and any much longer and she might break something.

Camille: I would not!

Uh huh… So anyway, please don’t be angry with me, I’m only one person and I’m like mom/wife/teacher/farmer/author/EMT/huntress all rolled into one. Im surprised my arms haven’t fallen off yet.

As an extension to my last question, since Edward, Thomas and Flying Scotsman help baby-sit Gordon. What do they usually do with him while baby-sitting him?

Thomas: Gordon and I love playing games, our favorite is hide and seek. I use the trucks and coaches to hide, and when its Gordon's turn the station master will create little areas for Gordon to hide around and in. Edward: Gordon loves stories, we like to stay in the shed and read children's books about railways. His favorite is about Ottie the post office dog and the Big Blue Train. Scotsman: My little brother loves riding in my front passenger coach. You should hear him as we thunder down the line, he is in constant giggles all the way to our final stop.
