All her life Camille was treated as an equal to humans. She was raised as the daughter of an old man and his wife who couldn't have children of their own. But after they passed away, Camille was left with an empty hole in her heart and the sudden realization that not everyone around her saw her as an equal. With the threat of being scrapped near her doorstep, she is sent away to the Island of Sodor, a safe haven for engines. There she starts her life completely over with new friends, a new life, and a bright future. She quickly befriends the Steam Team, who all welcome her with open arms. Almost. There is this one engine she can't quite wrap her head around, but maybe she's not the only one struggling with the new situation. Something is just so... enticing about him.

New Chapter Summary:  Gordon encounters a horrible passenger and it's up to Camille to make help him come out of his funk. Rhinos are in need of help. A day at the zoo reveals more feelings than originally intended.
