I have no fucking clue why Viktor and Vander from Arcane give me gender envy

Hello this is one of my first writing pieces so ik it sucks. Also I’m American so I hope I used the right British words on here the only other thing I will say is I’ve always wrote words like colours with the u ik most Americans don’t that but idk I’m weird. But anyway enjoy:)

——————————————————————Ginny watched as the blonde-haired girl walked over to the bookcases, running her fingers along the spines. With the smell of nature and parchment, the place was old so it was cooler than Ginny imagined. Just then Ginny heard a gasp, as Ginny turned around Luna’s eyes widened and a smile spread across her face after laying her eyes on one book. Luna quickly grabbed the book and spun around with bright eyes.

“I thought I’d never see this book again. My mum used to read it to me when I was little or before you know…..” Luna trailed off as if lost in thought.

“Hey, it’s okay don’t worry, your mum would probably want you to have it”, Ginny whispered, after rushing over to engulf the blonde girl in her arms. Luna hugged her back tightly and Ginny’s heart fell into a bottomless pit. This is nothing like her, Ginny thought. When both girls pulled back, Luna’s eyes weren’t red and puffy like Ginny would have imagined instead, they were bright.

“Yes, I guess she would have liked that '', Luna whispered, smiling. Ginny smiled as bright as the sun. There’s the Luna I know, Ginny thought. Ginny then reached for the book, now laying face down on the ground. At the same time, Luna reached for the book, both girls’ hands brushed against each other. Ginny’s face turned as red as a lobster back. Both girls stood there frozen in place.

Finally, Ginny reached and grabbed the book from the cold cement floor. Both stood up as Ginny extended her arm out to Luna.

“Here”, Ginny mumbled, her face turning even redder. Luna just looked at Ginny, diamonds in her eyes. Beautiful was the only thought that crossed her mind. Both girls stood there in a haze, staring into each other's eyes.

Without her eyes leaving Ginny’s, Luna smiled softly and whispered, “Thank you.”

When Luna reached out to grab the book she quickly pulled Ginny into a bear hug. Taken aback Ginny stood there for half a second then wrapped her arm around the other girl. As both girls stood there, heads on each other’s shoulders, birds began to sing softly in the distance.

After what seemed like a lifetime, Luna pulled back. As Ginny lifted her head, Ginny’s gaze caught Luna’s. The sky blue ones that seemed to glow even brighter in the dim light. Ginny tried to push away the thought because there was no way Luna felt the same.

Luna then leaned in, Ginny couldn’t help herself and leaned in as well. Both girls’ lips met and Ginny swore fireworks went off. Eventually, Ginny’s arms wrapped themself around Luna’s skinny frame, Luna’s arms draped over the ginger’s shoulders. Soon both girls pulled away, short of breath. Ginny’s mind raced kilometers per second while Luna broke into small giggles.

“What? Did I mess something up?” Ginny rambled, face heating up.

Luna just laughed, “No. No, you did nothing wrong. You look like a strawberry but you’re still cute as one.”

I’m cute? Ginny couldn’t believe her ears Luna thinks I’m cute?

“Yes, you’re cute Ginny. If I didn't, why would I have kissed you?” Luna whispered.

“Well true,” Ginny replied.

“So, girlfriends?”

“Of course.”

Both of them pulled away from each other and began walking back towards the bookshelves. Luna’s hand found Ginny’s, pausing a moment before intertwining their fingers.

“Is this okay?” Luna’s voice sounded light and happy.

“Of course,” Ginny replied with a happier tone but not as much as Luna’s.

As the ginger and blonde walked back to the worn-out books and bookshelves, Luna rested her head on Ginny’s shoulder. Ginny felt like she was on a cloud-like this was all a fever dream. But it wasn’t, Ginny would remember that day for the rest of her life as one of the happiest days of her life, other than marrying Luna.

Nah man what I’m implying is that r*wling didn’t like that people INCLUDING GARY OLDMAN AND DAVID THEWLIS WHO PLAYED SIRIUS AND REMUS THOUGHT THEY WERE A GAY COUPLE BC SHE IS HOMOPHOBIC. Look man idgaf if u don’t ship wolfstar whatever but r*wling put them together to say that Remus was straight. 😐

Anti Remadora rant

Ik I said I was gonna do this earlier but I’m lazy asf.

First off the age gap. 13 YEARS??????!!!!! Look normally I could probably get over an age gap as long as it wasn’t absurd but 13 yrs is too much even more so at this time point. Remus has already fought the first wizarding war (1970-1981) and Tonks is born in the middle of the war (1973). Like the experience is completely different for each of them.

Next off Sirius had just died and Remus wasn’t in a good headspace. And ik ppl r gonna come for me say oh ur only saying that bc u ship wolfstar no even if Sirius didn’t exist I wouldn’t ship remadora. So since Remus’ lover best friend had just been killed he wasn’t ready for a relationship. As for Tonks I don’t think she wanted to be in the relationship either. Personally I think Tonks and Remus were covering for each other like Sirius and Marlene did. That being said they only got married bc they were pressured into it.

Next after Remus and Tonks got married Remus said how he regretted marrying Tonks. That he made a grave mistake. He also almost went on a suicide mission to get away from Tonks and it took Harry who was SEVENTEEN to get Remus to go back to Tonks. Like if someone would rather die than be in a relationship that means it’s unhealthy asf.

Next after Tonks and Remus got together Tonks’ whole personality was diminished. Tonks was basically reduced to a house wife after they got together.

Lastly they were forced together bc r*wling was homophobic and didn’t like that people shipped wolfstar. So she forced 2 obviously queer characters together to say they’re straight. (Personally I hc Tonks as gender fluid and lesbian and Remus as trans ftm and bi.)

So yea that’s my main reasons but yea I hate this ship with my whole existence. :D
