I Would Like To Pontificate On The Locations Of Robert Baratheons Unknown Bastard Children.
I would like to pontificate on the locations of Robert Baratheonâs unknown bastard children.
Hereâs the ones we know about
Mya Stone, born in the Vale Robertâs first bastard child, all others probably come after her. Born in 279 AC or 280 AC.
Bella, born or conceived in Stony Sept when Robert was running from Jon Connington. Born 283 AC.
Gendry, born at Kingâs Landing, 284 AC
Edric Storm, born 287 AC raised at Stormâs End with Renly.
Unknown Twins, fathered by Robert on an unknown serving woman at Casterly Rock.
Barra, a daughter born at Chatayaâs brothel, in 298 AC.
Now according to Maggyâs prophecy Robert has nine other children. The known children all correspond to places that we as readerâs know Robert has been. Id like to guess at where his other bastards might be based on what information we have as readers (This is just circumstantial evidence I know but an interesting thought exercise).
Possibly locations of Bastard children.
Harrenhal, Robert was there for the largest tourney in living memory. Possibly left a child there.
Riverrun, Robert attending the wedding there during his Rebellion. Based off his having kids at Stannisâ wedding there might be one there.
Greenstone, when Robert visited Estermont as king he bedded an unnamed cousin. Itâs possible for her to have had a child but also not since as nobility her potential child would most likely have had to have been acknowledged Robert.
These are just some speculated locations though. Itâs possible heâs got bastards in locations from the Wall to Sunspear.

Personal Hygiene During The Apocalypse
Many people donât realize how important personal hygiene is and will be for a zombie apocalypse (or any kind of apocalypse). I know many will be focusing on getting water, food and shelter (and weapons), which are very important, but donât forget thereâs a unseen enemy that we all need to fight against as well. Itâs not just zombies and hostile survivors that we have to watch out for, but for diseases and infections. Keeping good hygiene prevents diseases caused by bacteria, viruses, and parasites from infecting us.
So donât forget to include personal hygiene items, such as soap, deodorant, hand sanitizer, toothpaste and so on, in your bug out bags. We need to be at our physical best, because in a apocalypse doctors and dentists are very hard to come by. If youâre lucky and do find one, they wonât be able to do much to help you without the proper equipment. So your best bet is to practice good hygiene in order to prevent becoming ill in the first place.Â
For example, when it comes to brushing your teeth, if you donât have toothpaste available, simply having your toothbrush with you and brushing your teeth with water, will be better than not brushing them at all. If you donât even have a toothbrush, you can also chew on the tip of a twig to make it spread out into several small strands then use it in the same way that a toothbrush is used. Salt is also a great way to brush your teeth, as well as a mouthwash to keep bad breath away.
When you donât brush your teeth, bacteria builds and it begins to release acids which eat away at your enamel. Eventually over time this could lead to gum disease.

What Was Stannis' Plan for the Blackwater?
Iâve been thinking on what the point of the Battle of the Blackwater (henceforth BotB) was strategically for Stannis. And I'd argue it was to gain the Reach to his side.
I will not argue the BotB was not a huge series of fuckups on Stannisâ part. Even so there was a point. Winning that battle was possible and a reasonable goal. I think, in Stannis thinking, the problem would have been the aftermath. He'd be stuck with a wounded army, an at least partially damaged fleet and an entire city to feed. Somehow this was a desirable goal. In my opinion the victory is what makes that battle desirable because the battle wasn't just to take the capital (although that's very important) but to gain the capital to get the Reach to join him. I think the cart before the horse analogy works here.
As Rhaenyra I, Daemon Blackfyre, Robb Stark and Robert Baratheon prove, winning battles brings allies because they see your strength. The blackwater would have been Stannis' Whispering Woods or Summerhal, like how Rhaenyra capturing KL gave her legitimacy.
It's same reason as fighting the ironborn in the north gives him allies in ADWD. In westeros winning proves strength. In ACOK the Stormlords and Reacherlords he gets from Renly's death were all he was gonna get at that point. He needs more men to win the entire kingdom, and the Vale won't fight but the Reach might. With Tywin distracted by Robb Stark at Harrenhal. Stannis knows Tywin could come down from Harrenhal to defend KL and he knows that the Tyrell forces are sitting at Bitterbridge in a leadership crisis. It was is the perfect time to strike while KL was undefended and win an *almost certain* battle to prove himself. When I say almost certain remember BotB is 20,000 of Stannis' trained soldiers against mostly a few thousand gold cloaks and a small (in comparison) number of knights.
By taking KL Stannis eliminates his rival claimant (Joffrey) and proves he should be followed as a victorious king. Specifically to the Tyrells who have the sheer military numbers to win the war as well as food supplies for KL. If the Stannis won faster the battle might've solved all of the problems it would cause. Namely supplying a city and military casualties.
