That Ace, thank you for asking!

Prosecutor Blackquill is a wonderful, Just, kind man, who is really very thoughtful under that prickly exterior. I've learned so much from him, and while I do think he could stand to be a little less cynical, I am so blessed to have him as part of my life. He's amazing, and a great help, and...surprisingly sensitive. You wouldn't know it at first, but its true! not that you can upset him easily, but sensitive to other people's needs at times. I'm not sure where he learned that...

He's a wonderful person. he does need a little help sometimes, but that's okay!

Taka is very nice too. a little scary, but very impressive. I am told she missed me while I was....um..away. She's very protective of Si-of Prosecutor Blackquill, and is very discerning. If she doesn't like you, chances are he won't either. I'm just not sure how he can tell the more subtle mood shifts....but I am learning some of them! hopefully she and I can continue to get alone.

I wanted to ask, how's Taka doing? I've always been curious about that bird of yours, and it seems very interesting, I'd love to hear more about it!

Taka is well, thank you. Since you are curious, I suppose I could tell you a spell about her. She is a Eurasian Sparrowhawk, and Primarily feasts upon birds, but small rodents will also do.

I say she, which I have determined based on her size and plumage, but she has never laid eggs so I may be mistaken. if accurate, then she is slightly smaller then average, but also faster.

She is deeply intelligent, and has always found her way back to me. I feared when I got her that she would leave once she could hunt for herself, but as often as she leaves, she always comes back.

I allow her free range of everywhere I go, the only exception is if she requires medical attention, which is blessedly rare. She does not care for the anklets, jesses, and hoods typically involved in falconry, so I defer to her preference when possible. This also means should I displease her, she can go. I do not truly think of her as my bird, but as my companion, staying only so long as she is willing.

Perhaps sometime I will tell you how she came to be so.

Oooh. Latte is good, so are mochas..and frappe's are good too!

Really, anything but that terrible stuff in the break room. And if the beat is long enough, even that will do, so long as you drown it in cream and sugar. You'll still be able to taste it, but it's got some placebo effect I think. Detective Gumshoe drinks it by the pot, but I'm fairly sure he has an iron gut. And doesn't let it contact his taste buds.

Occasionally! She mostly cares for herself, though. He did ask me to check on her a few times while he was in prison, make sure she was eating, but these days hardly ever. And it is! She has very sharp claws, and has scratched me several times. I like to think she's warming up to me, especially knowing that those were affectionate bites that one time....still, that's only happened once, and it didn't feel all that affectionate...
