Can You Write Some Fluff With Tate? Like He Is Cheering The Reader Up

Can you write some fluff with tate? Like he is cheering the reader upđŸ„ș

Of course! Sorry, it’s a bit short but I hope you like it nonetheless 😊

~~~~~~~~~~
You laid on the dusty unused bed, feeling depressed as you often did.
It was just another one of those days where you loathed your entire existence as a ghost trapped in a worn down house that nobody wanted because it was creepy.
Plus, a bunch of murders, suicides, and just some good ol’ fashioned human sacrifices would probably scare anyone in their right mind away from even setting foot on the property.
It’s not you wanted people living in the house, you just wanted something new to happen once in awhile, which rarely ever happened. But being a person who wore their heart on their sleeve obviously didn’t want the house to be bought by good people who’d just end up dying anyway.
No, you had to be content with being alone for all eternity, well, kind of.
The other ghosts in the house were fine, some of them. But Tate was the only one you got along with, despite his more than questionable past and life/dead choices.
You and Tate both having somewhat sardonic attitudes made for a good fucked up relationship.
You had no idea where he was, he had become sort of infatuated with Violet, who hates his guts, but you figured he was trying to earn her trust back. You didn’t really mind, you both had the open relationship thing going on, but you also hated labels.
You just laid there, staring at the ceiling that had moss lining the corners from lack of upkeep, but you thought it gave the house character.
You lifted your head when you heard a soft knocking on the door frame. “Oh, hey, Tate.” You said, plopping your head back down onto your pillow with a huff.
“What’s got you down, darling?” Tate asked softly, moving to sit next to you on the bed.
“I don’t think I’ll ever be able to come to terms with being trapped here, Tate...” You whispered, willing yourself not to cry.
Tate frowned, but moved to lay beside you on his side. “I know...” Then he forced a grin. “But hey, it’s not all bad right?”
You gave him an annoyed look, causing him to drop the grin. “Being trapped is really bad...” You groaned loudly, throwing your arms up dramatically. “That stupid fuckin’ serial killer. Why’d he target me, man?” You asked rhetorically.
“Well, you’re good looking, you were vulnerable, you stupidly went into an abandoned building alone...at night...shall I go on?”
You glared at Tate. “Not funny.” You scowled.
Tate sat up with a smile. “Aw, come on. Y/N. I was just trying to get you to smile.”
“Yeah, well, good luck with that.”
Tate lifted up one of his brows and smirked. “That sounds like a challenge.”
“Not in the mood.” Tate slowly lifted his hand up to your frowning face, poking your cheek repeatedly. “Don’t.” You slapped his hand away.
Tate kept trying to poke your cheeks and your sides, trying to get you to smile or laugh, but all you did was groan in frustration. “Tate.” You whined, not liking being tickled.
“Nope. Not until you smile.” Tate rolled over on top of you, trapping you in his heavy embrace, still trying to tickle you.
You ultimately couldn’t keep your laughs in, squirming around from Tate’s roaming hands. “Okay, okay, stop, Tate!” You laughed, quickly becoming breathless.
Tate rolled off of you and held up his hands in surrender while laughing loudly, most definitely feeling very proud of himself. “You should know by now that I don’t back down from a challenge.”
“It wasn’t a frickin’ challenge!” You yelled after catching your breath.
“Huh...well, I read the situation all wrong, didn’t I?” He teased, giving your cheek one last poke.
“Oh, shut up.” You grinned, poking Tate back a little bit harshly.
“Ow.” He whined, rubbing his now sore cheek, but you knew he was just being overdramatic, as usual.
“Pussy.”
“Hey! At least I made you feel better, right?”
You giggled. “Sure.”
Dating Levi - Attack on Titan
Kinda weird assortment (head-canony), but here ya go. I made this like last year when I was obsessed with this man, so I thought I’d post it. Turns into an imagine at the end.
~~~~~~~~~~

Dating Levi - Attack On Titan

You love Levi’s smile. You don’t see it often, but it makes your whole life brighter every time he does.

Levi loves your hands. When you joined the Survey Corps, your hands were so soft and smooth. Somehow, they’ve still kept their smoothness and Levi takes every opportunity to hold them.

You love that Levi lets you vent to him. No matter how stupid and petty the thing you’re upset about, he always listens to you.

You love when Levi calls you “brat.” Even if he means it as an insult, you still find it endearing.

You annoy Levi so that he calls you “brat.”

Levi loves that you love cleanliness. You make sure your room/desk/house/etc. is always tidy. But he also loves you can get your hands dirty when you need to.

You and Levi are so similar in the way you always take your job seriously and really care for your team. You two make a deadly combination when it comes to killing Titans.

Levi is not an emotional person, so whenever he comes to you for emotional support and allows himself to be vulnerable with you, you fall in love with him even more.

Levi always worries about you whenever you two have to split up for missions. He knows fully well that you can handle yourself, but that worry is always in the back of his mind and he always thinks of when he lost Farlon and Isabel.

You two always train together. At first, Levi would always kick your ass. Slowly but surely, you learned all his moves and techniques, so it really shocked him when you used his own moves against him and knocked him on his ass one day.

Levi used to go easy on you during training. But since you grew stronger, you two never pull your punches and most of the time the fight ends in a tie.

You love waking up in Levi’s arms.

You always admire his face when he sleeps. He looks peaceful and not angry.

Levi rolls his eyes whenever he wakes up to see you staring at him, but he can never help the small smile and blush that forms on his face.

However, you’re the opposite. You look like you can kill a bitch when you sleep.

You’re the only person that can get Levi flustered. And you always love to do it at the most inappropriate times, mostly when you’re with company.

Levi always makes you pay for flustering him whenever you get back to the privacy of your bedroom.

You both get nightmares, a lot. Most of your nightmares are memories of seeing your family get eaten by Titans, and sometimes Levi. Levi is pretty much the same, but about you and his team and sometimes himself.

When you get a nightmare, you usually wake up in a cold sweat and panic for a few seconds before you realize it was just a dream. You never wake up Levi because you didn’t want him to worry about you. But one night, you had a nightmare so bad that you woke up crying and screaming. Levi immediately woke and comforted you. And from then on, whenever you wake up from a nightmare, screaming or not, Levi always wakes up to make sure you’re okay.

When Levi gets a nightmare, he usually mumbles and whimpers in his sleep and he can’t wake up from the nightmare. Most of the time, it wakes you up. You always make sure to wake him up and assure him it was just a dream. He would nod and pull you into his chest, not letting you go until he falls asleep. Whenever he dreams Farlon and Isabel, he usually cries when he wakes.

You both rarely get into arguments. On those rare occasions, it’s usually about who gets to kill a Titan or who goes on what mission. Those never last more than a few minutes.

At first, Levi hated you. He thought you were annoying and useless. You were only made part of his team because Erwin forced him to take you on. He quickly realized he underestimated you when you killed two Titans without a hitch on your first mission.

Then as time went on, Levi started to hate you again. He hated the way you made him feel. Whenever he’d see you smile or laugh, he’d get a warm fuzzy feeling. He hated it. He didn’t want to care about you so much, but he learned to embrace it.

Your first impression of Levi was that he was kind of a douchebag. You recognized that he was an amazing Titan killer and leader and you respected him, but he was so cold and unnerving to you. When you realized he despised you, you made it your mission to get him to like you. It worked somehow.

You and Levi aren’t very touchy feely, and you both aren’t a fan of PDA. To everyone who didn’t know you, you guys only looked like acquaintances.

Levi is extremely protective of you though. Whenever someone is dumb enough to flirt with you, they end up getting a punch in the nose.

You know Levi is adored by many people, just look at him. How could they not? Many people try to throw themselves at him. You’re not the jealous type, but it does get annoying when it gets in the way of your work.

Levi actually finds it really attractive that you trust him so much that you never get jealous when men and women try to flirt with him. Of course, Levi would never cheat. He finds it more annoying when people flirt with him than you do.

You’re not the type of couple that says “I love you” to each other a lot. But when you do, it’s rare. Actions speak louder than words to you guys.

Surprisingly, Levi was the one who said “I love you” first.

You were with Levi’s team when the female Titan showed up. You tried to save Petra, but the Titan pulled one of your wires on your mobility gear and you crashed hard into a tree.

Before you blacked out, you saw Petra get killed, Eren turn into his Titan form quickly after.

When Levi went back to his team, he saw you laying below the tree you crashed into. His heart almost stopped. You looked dead. He quickly went to your side, and sure enough, you were still breathing...barely.

You woke up after the whole mission was over. You woke up in a bed, and your whole body was aching so bad you wished you didn’t wake up. Levi was also by your bedside, he never left when the group got back. Bunch of broken ribs, concussion, laceration of your right arm, fractured wrist, and a broken leg.

You were extremely lucky.

Levi shakily exhaled a breath of relief when he saw your eyes open. You saw he looked exhausted. “You look like shit.” You said, failing to keep your voice lighthearted.

Levi rolled his eyes when he heard your comment. “You should look in a mirror.”

Levi was so worried about you. He thought he’d have to deal with losing another person he cared about. He couldn’t keep his feelings anymore, too worried you would die not knowing how he felt about you.

“I love you, Y/N. So, so much. I was so scared that you’d die, that you’d leave me. I was scared that you’d die not knowing how I feel. So, I love you brat. I love you.”

The sudden deceleration of his love was a bit overwhelming. You never heard him talk about love, especially not about a person. You knew he cared about you, a lot. But this was the first time he ever expressed it out loud.

With no hesitation or doubt in your voice, you said, “I love you too.”

Sweet Pandemonium - Gally (The Maze Runner) Part 4 of 16

Oh god, I’m growing attached to this relationship...

In other news, computer still dead and I’m tired and idk how to feel about this chapter. I’m slowing down lmao. But here it is anyway

~~~~~~~~~~
image
To say Gally was pissed that you went into the maze would be an understatement, even if you just went down the main corridor to help the boys get Alby inside the Glade.
Thankfully Gally didn’t have time to scold you too much, because after making sure Alby was situated in the Med-jacks care, the Keepers called a meeting to discuss the whole situation.
This should be fun...
As always, it was a little tough corralling everyone into council hall. But after everyone settled into their seats, Gally stood up to speak first after glancing your way for a moment.
“Things are changing.” Gally started. “There’s no denying that. First, Ben gets stung in broad daylight, and then Alby. And now our Greenie here has taken it upon himself to go into the maze. Which is a clear violation of our rules here.”
“Yeah, but he saved Alby’s life.” Frypan voiced, some Gladers nodding into agreement.
“Did he?” He countered. “For three years, we have coexisted with these things, and now you’ve killed one of them.” He pointed at Thomas. “Who knows what that means for us?”
“Well, what do you suggest we do?” Newt asked calmly.
“He has to be punished.” Gally said like it was the obvious action, making the whole room speak up with their disagreements, including you.
You scoffed. “You think he should be punished because he tried to save his life?”
Gally glared at you. “He still broke the rules.”
“So I guess that means Y/N has to be punished too.” Minho voiced, gaining the attention of the other Gladers. “She went into the maze.”
Gally rolled his eyes. “Not like that Greenie did.”
“Rules are rules, right, Gally? Or are you suggesting Y/N should get special treatment cause she’s a girl, or cause she’s special to you?”
“Minho.” Newt interrupted, sighing in frustration. “You were there with him. What do you think?”
Minho threw Gally a glare before sighing softly. “I think...in all the time we’ve been here, no one’s ever killed a Griever before. When I turned tail and ran, this dumb shank stood behind to help Alby. Look, I don’t know if he’s brave or stupid...whatever it is, we need more of it. I say we make him a Runner.”
“A Runner? What? Minho, let’s not jump the gun here, alright?” Fry voiced, along with everyone else voicing their opinions, even Chuck trying to get a chant in Thomas’ favor going, but failing.
“If you want to throw the newbie a parade, that’s fine. Go ahead. But if there is one thing that I know about the maze, it is that you do not-”
A rumbling and sudden blaring horn interrupted Gally, echoing around the entire Glade and making your ears hurt. But you knew that noise, it was what you heard when you came up in the Box. But it’s not even close to a month yet. Nothing is supposed to be coming up yet. So, what the hell is happening?
Gally and Newt ran out, taking off toward the Box immediately, you and the rest of the Gladers following closely behind.
You quickly made it to the Box, standing beside Gally as he and Newt opened the doors.
“What the hell?” You whispered as everyone crowded around the Box, Thomas pushing his way to the front.
“It’s another girl.” Newt said, looking up to the group in confusion, and to you briefly. “I think she’s dead...”
The girl was fair, long dark hair slightly covering her face. She was unconscious, but thankfully she was still breathing from what you could see. You looked to her hand, seeing that there was something she was clutching onto. “What’s in her hand?”
Newt leaned over and gently grabbed what was in her hand, a piece of paper. “She’s the last one...ever.” Newt read, once again looking up in confusion.
The girl mumbled in her state, and you could’ve sworn you heard your name come from her mouth. “Did you hear-”
The girl gasped loudly, interrupting your question and causing everyone to jump in shock, her eyes opening wide. “Thomas.” She panted, her eyes rolling to the back of her head and falling back into unconsciousness.
Everyone looked to Thomas, who looked just as in shock as all the other Gladers.
“Y/N, help me bring her up, will ya?” Newt asked.
“Why me?”
“Well, you’re...ya know...” You rolled your eyes, reluctantly hopping down into the Box and helping Newt carry the girl out and handing her over to the Med-jacks care. Thankfully, your arm was mostly healed from Ben’s attack, well, the sprained part anyway. “We’ve got it from here, Y/N, thank you.”
You nodded, but you didn’t leave. You stared at the girl, feeling a familiar feeling, almost like with Thomas. It was different, but the same. You felt a headache coming on just by trying to make sense of this feeling that you don’t remember ever having, but you knew you had nonetheless.
“Y/N?” Newt snapped you out of your trance.
“Uh, sorry. I’ll leave now.”
You left the room in a hurry, almost running into Thomas and Minho in the process. “You good?” Minho asked.
“Yeah, yeah. Just feeling a little headache.” You smiled weakly.
Thomas gave you a look, and you knew he wasn’t buying it. But you had a feeling he didn’t have the time to call you out so you pushed past them and headed to the watering station.
You just needed water, that was probably it. You’ll be fine once you have some water.
You sighed in relief once you took some gulps of the water from the faucet. It wasn’t cold, but it still felt nice. Your headache didn’t go away unfortunately.
When you saw Gally walking over to you, part of you just wanted to leave. But knowing him, he probably wouldn’t let you leave so easily without talking to him. You turned around to lean against the makeshift sink, tapping your foot impatiently as you prepared yourself for a probable exhausting conversation.
“Hey.”
“Hey.” You huffed.
“Get the girl to the Med-jacks okay?”
“Yep.”
“What happened to your thumb?”
You lifted your hand up to your face, looking over your thumb. The peeled off skin had already scarred over. It didn’t hurt when you didn’t think about it, but now that Gally pointed it out, you felt the pulsing throbs of pain from the little wound.
“Irrelevant. What do you want?” You asked, briefly sucking on your thumb to try and ease the pain.
“What the hell is up with you, huh? I’m the one who’s supposed to be mad at you.” Gally huffed.
“You kept trying to make me believe that Thomas and Minho were already dead, Gally. You didn’t even try to think anything else.” You crossed your arms.
A tense pause before Gally spoke again.
“That was a really stupid thing you did today, you know. Going into the maze.”
You rolled your eyes. “I barely went five feet.”
“Minho was right.” Gally sighed. “I can’t give you special treatment. You’ll have to be punished along with the Greenie.”
“I wouldn’t need or want special treatment anyway, especially from you.”
Gally chuckled bitterly. “Just yesterday you told me you liked me, and now you’re acting like you hate me. God, if that girl acts anything like you-”
“What, huh?” You interrupted harshly.
One of the Builders came running up to you and Gally, panting in exhaustion when he finally reached you. “What is it?”
“That Greenie and a bunch of other Gladers ran into the maze.”
You quickly snapped your head towards your fellow Builder. “What?” You yelped. “When?”
“Just a few minutes ago.”
Gally’s face quickly contorted in anger, shaking his head before storming off. “Where are you going?” You asked, struggling to keep up with his long legs.
“Finding Newt. If that Greenie comes back alive, there’s no way he’s not gonna be punished now.”
It was hard to argue with Gally when he set his mind to something, especially when it’s about something that he was probably right about. There was no argument that you could’ve made that would help Thomas, the boy really just loved looking for trouble.
You stopped following after Gally, and went to find Chuck to see him already at the maze doors. “Gally’s on a warpath.”
“What do you mean?” Chuck stuttered, startled by your sudden presence beside him and looking around nervously.
“Thomas went into the maze again, but you already know that, don’t you.” You smirked, causing Chuck to blush. “Gally found out about it. Make sure he knows when he gets back, okay, bud?”
Chuck quickly nodded, nervously smiling as you ruffled his curly hair.
When they got back, you stood outside council hall. You weren’t allowed in the meeting, since it was Keepers only. But you paced back and forth, trying not to bite the same thumb that you did this morning.
You really had to work on your nervous tics.
You looked up expectantly when you heard the building’s doors open, an angry looking Gally storming out and walking past you. “Wait, what happened?” You asked, jogging to keep up with his pace.
“Newt made that shank a Runner.”
You were speechless. A Runner? You didn’t think Thomas would get appointed with such a job so early on. “That’s it?”
Gally suddenly stopped in his tracks, causing you to almost trip and fall when you tried to stop mid jog. “Why are you talking to me, huh? If you hate me, shouldn’t you be ignoring me?” He said, glaring at you as he spoke.
“I never said I hated you. Don’t be so dramatic.”
Gally scoffed. “I’m being dramatic? Yeah, right.” He started to walk again, but you got in his way.
“Gally, wait.” Gally stopped, even though he could’ve easily moved you out of the way. “Hey, I’m sorry, okay? I don’t hate you. I don’t. I was mad at you, is all.” You looked down nervously from his intense gaze.
Gally sighed softly, gently bringing you into a hug, tender much like the one he gave you yesterday. “I’m sorry too. I didn’t want to hurt your feelings or anything.”
“It’s okay.” You smiled weakly. “So, what was the verdict?”
Gally scratched the back of his neck and bit his lip nervously. “Uh, well, a night in the Pit with no food or water.”
“For him?”
“For both of you.” You closed your eyes and nodded, you weren’t really surprised. “I would’ve tried to lessen your punishment if we had made up earlier.”
You shook your head and smiled. “It’s alright, Gal. I can handle the Pit. It’s not like I haven’t spent a couple nights there anyway.”
Gally grinned and chuckled, starting to walk to the Builder’s area right beside you, making sure that you could keep up with him. “Right, right, I remember. You certainly taught Winston to never catcall you ever again. Poor shank couldn’t even walk right for days after you kicked him.”
“Shouldn’t have commented on my tits.” You shrugged, smirking slightly as you remembered Gally’s laugh when it happened.
“It was pretty badass, in my opinion.” Gally playfully knocked himself against you.
“Alby didn’t seem to think so.”
“You shouldn’t have been punished for that. Even I thought it was stupid.”
“Thanks, Captain.” You smiled softly, the smile itching to grow wider when Gally’s face flushed red.
“The girl’s awake!”
You and Gally both turned to see all the Gladers surrounding the watch tower, all ducking the various rocks that were being thrown off. “That’s probably not good...” You mumbled, taking off with Gally towards the commotion.
As soon as you both got to the base of the tower, it didn’t even take a minute before Gally got frustrated with the girl. But you were more frustrated even more by all the boys that seemed to be having fun. You understood how the girl was feeling after all.
“Guys, maybe we should give her some space!” You tried yelling over the ruckus, to no avail.
Not really a surprise there.
Seeing Newt in the crowd, you walked up to him while trying to dodge the rocks in the process. “I don’t think she likes us very much.” He chuckled when he noticed you next to him.
“Well no wonder, she’s probably terrified. You guys aren’t even giving her time to adjust here.”
“We just wanna know why she’s here, that’s all! I didn’t think being curious was a crime!” Fry voiced.
“It’s not! But we’ll have to ask her when she’s ready.” You insisted, then yelping in pain when a rock landed on top of your head. “Ow...”
“Throw one more of those things!” Gally yelled, quickly being interrupted by a rock landing on his head. You tried not to laugh at the comedic timing...
Thankfully, the Med-jacks brought Thomas back from wherever he was and you quickly ran to him. “Go on and talk to her, Greenie.”
“What? Why me?”
“She said your name, Thomas. Out of all the guys here, you’ll be the one she talks to...probably.”
“Not to butt in,” Jeff voiced from beside you, “but she was saying your name in her sleep too.”
“Uh, what?”
can u do a headcanon about playing among us with Levi lol I thought it would be really funny
Oh my god, I love that idea so much. Thank you, Anon. Hope you enjoy😊
~~~~~~~~~~

When you first suggested it, Levi immediately said no.

You knew Levi never played video games, but you had so much fun playing that you wanted to share it with him.

After weeks and weeks of begging, Levi finally agreed to play ONE game session. But you had to promise to make it up to him.

You got all the brats (and Hange) together to play this special game, and they were all excited to see how annoyed Levi got...mostly excited to “kill him” if one of them got Imposter.

After initially getting over Levi already being annoyed by technology and explaining how Among Us worked, it was finally time for the first game.

Levi slightly raised his eyebrows when he saw the big red bold letters appear at the top of the screen that read “Imposter.” But he tried not to give it away as you were just on the other side of the room.

Levi wasn’t stupid, he pretty much grasped the concept, but he found himself getting a little nervous. He didn’t want to play this game already, so it was pretty bad luck to get Imposter the first time ever playing.

Deep down, Levi really wanted to impress you. So, he grit his teeth and told himself to try his best...even if he thought it was stupid.

The game started and Levi finally realized his fellow Imposter was Hange...great.

He’d never even saw how she played as Imposter, but he already got the feeling that she wouldn’t be great at it.

Since Levi had never played as Crewmate, it was pretty obvious to you that he was faking tasks. You found it adorable though, but he decided to stay silent about it.

Even though he was Imposter, Levi pretty much followed you and Eren around.

You three were in Electrical when the lights suddenly went out, but since you were right there you went to fix them. When you went back up to the top of the room, you saw the bottom half of Eren’s dark green body.

You thought about reporting for a minute, knowing you could get Levi out easily, but you decided against it.

Until Mikasa came in and reported immediately.

“Y/N killed Eren in Electrical! She was standing over the body!” Mikasa shouted.

“What?! No! I found the body!” You shouted back.

“Why didn’t you report it then? You killed Eren.” She insisted, eliciting a frustrated groan from you.

“Sus.” Jean said, everyone else agreeing.

You could’ve easily targeted Levi, but you wanted him to have a chance. “Ugh, fine! If you don’t believe me, then vote me out. But I swear, it’s not me.”

“Maybe we should listen to her.” Levi said.

“You’re biased. Vote her out!” Jean pushed, quickly casting his vote.

Everyone but Levi voted for you while you just skipped. You cringed, knowing he should’ve just voted for you. “Uh, Levi...?”

You faked cried into your mic as your little cyan body floated off into space.

As a ghost, you followed Levi and Hange around, completely ignoring the rest of you tasks. Apparently, Eren wanted to watch too.

You giggled quietly as Hange teased Armin by standing over a vent, hopping in and out then killing him.

Levi walked around the ship, his hand twitching over the kill button and smirking as he found who he was looking for.

You gasped as he killed Mikasa in front of Hange and Jean, knowing that was an awful move.

“It’s Levi! It’s Levi!” Jean yelled, definitely peaking his audio.

“Uh, yeah.” Hange said, having no choice. “He killed Mikasa in front of us in Nav.”

You heard Levi tsk into his mic. “She got Y/N killed, the little brat.”

“He just admitted it!” Jean yelled, peaking his mic yet again. “Vote him!”

“She deserved it.” Levi said bluntly.

It didn’t take long to find the other Imposter, Hange’s play style being extremely sloppy.

“Oh, what a shame to get Imposter the first time playing.” You laughed.

“Yeah, sorry Levi.” Jean laughed, clearly not sorry.

“I’m not. He killed Eren.” Mikasa said.

“You blamed me for it, Mika!” You yelled.

Thankfully, Levi didn’t get Imposter anymore after that.

He was surprisingly really good at susing the right people in the game, and most of the games were won by the Crewmates due to his good detective skills.

After everyone hopped off the discord call, you walked over to Levi with a hopeful smile on your face. “Well?”

Levi sighed, “I had...fun.”

You squealing happily, making Levi roll his eyes. “Alright, alright, brat.”

“It really sucks getting Imposter without getting Crew beforehand.”

“I liked being Imposter, even if I didn’t really know how to play properly.”

“You just liked killing Eren and Mikasa.”

“...yes.”

Best Friends - Julian Spitzer (Mrs. Fletcher)

So, I watched Mrs. Fletcher recently...and omg Julian is the absolute cutest soft boy ever. I lob him bery much.

~~~~~~~~~~
Julian and I met in high school. We were both somewhat of outcasts and had a lot of the same bullies, so we had a lot to bond over.
Besides sharing Brendon Fletcher as our main bully, we also got along really well and had even more things in common. Same interests in music and moral and such.
The first time we met was actually when he was getting pushed around by Brendon. I saw this and intervened. I wasn’t that picked on before that, but I pissed off Brendon and damaged his fragile male ego. So in turn, I got bullied a lot more.
Julian felt bad about it, so he tried to ignore me so that I wouldn’t get bullied by association. It just made me want to be his friend even more.
Over time, we kept each other’s backs every time we got harassed. Julian didn’t really have much of a choice to not be my friend at that point. But in the end, we bonded really well and he was glad he had someone to rely on.
Now that high school was over, it was a big stress reliever for both of us. We both decided to go to community college. Julian was very intelligent and I believed he could get into any Ivy League he wanted, but he was too scarred by high school to do so.
In my case however, I didn’t really have a great GPA due to some...depressive states during school. So, community college was really my only option, but I didn’t mind it all that much. At least I got to be with Julian.
Julian and I pretty much had all the same general education classes, which made us both happy. But we were able to choose an extra curricular course, that was the only class we differed from. He chose some writing class and I chose theatre.
I teased Julian that he could totally fit the role of theatre kid, but he wanted to write more. I just had to suck it up, we couldn’t be together 24/7...unfortunately.
Being so protective of each other, I kind of developed a major crush on him over the years. It was problematic at times. I made sure Julian stayed oblivious though, I didn’t want to ruin our friendship.
For some reason, Julian and I were at a party. An off to college type party. Surprisingly, Julian was the one who suggested it, to which I laughed until I realized he was serious.
I was absentmindedly circling the brim of my red solo cup filled with cheap, bitter beer. I wasn’t really a drinker, but I felt I had to be just a little bit buzzed to survive this party full of former jocks.
I didn’t really listen as Julian was keeping up a pleasant conversation with a couple people, feeling my apathy starting to act up.
I gasped when I felt the lukewarm beer splash in my face. I turned to see Brendon guffawing with his friends, finding it so hilarious that he kept throwing pieces of candy at me.
“What the fuck?” Julian shouted when he felt candy being thrown at him as well.
Brendon suddenly smiled wide. “Spitzer! Y/L/N!” He kept throwing candy at us. “That one was an accident, actually. Hold on.” He threw more.
“Oh, no. I’m being attacked by a cool guy with...candy.” Julian said, making you giggle the huff when you kept getting hit by the hardened sugar.
“Couldn’t you just bully us online? It’s like, what people do now.” Julian said.
Brendon smirked and walked up to us, throwing a wink my way. “Way more fun in person.”
I felt my blood boil just by looking at his face. “You’re gonna get to college and everybody’s gonna see exactly what you are, you know that right?” I spat, Julian looking at me proudly.
Brendon had a somewhat confused expression on his face, but chuckled. “That is some deep stuff, Y/N. Real deep.”
I rolled my eyes and turned to Julian. “Let’s just get out of here.” I said, taking his hand, but Brendon stopped us.
“Don’t, wait. Sorry, okay? Like...I feel like I was a dick to you, both of you. All though high school.” Brendon said.
I scoffed, remembering all the horrible shit he did to both of us. “Yeah?” Julian said.
“Uh, I didn’t mean anything by it. I’m sorry, okay?”
“Then why the hell were you even like that, huh?” I fussed at him.
Brendon avoided our eyes and looked down. “Ah, is that your phone?” He asked Julian.
“Uh, yeah?”
“Why don’t we end on a good note, take a picture.” Brendon forcefully grabbed Julian’s phone. “Let’s take a selfie, yeah?” He started to grab both of us, bringing us closer to his body.
Julian and I both struggled against the jock’s grip. I let out a frustrated huff when I felt Brendon’s hand grope my tit slightly. I knew it probably wasn’t an accident...asshole.
Brendon lifted up the phone and flipped the camera to selfie mode. “High school forever!” He said in a high pitched tone and snapped the picture, the product being blurry due to our struggle.
The douche finally let us both go. “Can I have my phone back now?” Julian asked annoyed.
“Yeah, of course.” Brendon said, dunking the phone into my red solo cup.
“Fucking asshole!” Julian yelled, immediately taking his now beer covered phone out of the cup. “Fuck.”
“You need some rice.” Brendon teased and walked away.
I huffed angrily, storming up to Brendon despite Julian’s protests. I tapped on his shoulder harshly and he turned around, wearing a smug smirk. “Eat shit, asshole.” I said, thrusting my cup up to his face.
Brendon’s face was drenched in beer, and my cup was now empty. He wiped the beer from his eyes and looked at me with a glare, raising his fist.
I closed my eyes, waiting for the painful impact, hearing the thud of colliding skin. But I didn’t feel any pain.
I turned to see Julian with a now bruised cheek. “Cunt.” Brendon spat as he passed me.
I quickly went to Julian, who was smiling slightly, showing his slightly blood coated teeth. “I’m so sorry, Julian.” I tried not to cry.
Julian shook his head. “Don’t be. Let’s just get out of here, like you said.”
I nodded, taking Julian’s hand once more and leading him out of the packed house and to my car. “Fucking limped dick asshole, piece of shit...” I continued mumbling profanities as I gripped my steering wheel tightly, making my knuckles turn white.
From the corner of my eye, I saw Julian looking at me with an eyebrow raised. “You good?” He asked nervously.
I huffed. “Yep. Perfect.”
“Uh...sure you are.”
“Brendon is such an asshole!” I raised my voice, making Julian flinch. “...sorry.”
The rest of the drive to Julian’s house was silent, not an uncomfortable silence but not comfortable either. “I’m sorry about tonight, Jules.” I whispered.
Julian smiled weakly, rubbing my shoulder gently. “At least he punched me and not you.” He said, making me blush. Thankfully, the headlights of the car didn’t illuminate my face that much.
“So, see you at school?” I smile at him.
Julian grinned and nodded. “I will.”
                                            ⚫ ⚫ ⚫
The next couple days were a blur, just preparing for the first week of college classes. I was excited, mostly for the hopefully pleasant experience of meeting nice people and helpful professors.
And of course, seeing Julian.
I wanted to carpool with him, but he insisted on taking his skateboard everywhere during the day. Thankfully, he was going to allow me to drive him to his only night class.
I walked down the decently busy halls of one of the many college buildings on campus in search of my first class of the day. Having a little pep in my step as I finally found the right hallway.
I grinned when I saw Julian standing outside the classroom, playing on his phone. “Well, hi there, classmate!” I smiled, causing Julian to jump at my sudden greeting.
“Hey.” He smiled back, reaching his hand out. “Nice to meet you!” I rolled my eyes and shook his hand, deciding to play along. “You look very familiar. Do I know you from somewhere?” He joked.
“Shut up.” I laughed, pushing his shoulder.
“Well, shall we?” Julian motioned to the almost empty classroom.
“We shall.”
And a day full classes later, I could finally relax in my car listening to music with Julian. “I didn’t think it would be so exhausting walking everywhere. The classes weren’t bad since it was just going over the syllabus, but the walking...” I huffed.
Julian chuckled. “Yeah, the walking around we’ll have to get used to.”
I turned to face Julian. “So, excited for this night class?”
Julian nodded. “Totally. Since it’s an extra curricular, I’ll probably enjoy it more.”
“Well, I’ll pick you up later then?” I asked.
“Yep.” He said, opening up the passenger side door. “Don’t be late, please.”
“Me? Late? Never?” I giggled.
As I entered my home, I thought about about taking a nap. But then if I did, I knew I’d sleep in late. Getting homework done early it is.
A few more hours pass and it was probably time to pick up Julian. I got back in my car and drove to his place, to see him already sitting on his porch. “Wow, you’re on time.” He teased.
“Oh, hush. I know how much you hate being late to things.”
“You’re so thoughtful.” He smiled, buckling his seatbelts.
“Have fun.” I told him as he got out of the car when we got to the college parking lot.
“I’ll try.” He smiled again, closing the door and heading inside the building.
I decided to go to a Starbucks to pass the time, since the class was only half an hour. I also didn’t feel like going home, plus it’ll save gas.
I looked at my phone to check the time. Eh, I could probably head back over just in case the class gets out early. It didn’t, but I waited in the parking lot anyway. Just playing on my phone, trying to distract myself. It caused me to jump when the passenger side door opened suddenly. “Oh! It’s just you.” I laughed.
Julian got in the car with a bashful smile. “It me.” He giggled.
“What’s got you all smiley?” I asked.
“Uh...” He started, “There was this...gorgeous woman in my class.”
My curious smile quickly fell, turning into a slight frown. “Oh, really?” I tried to sound happy.
“It’s uh, Mrs. Fletcher.”
The awkward silence was suddenly filled by my obnoxious laughter, making Julian frown. “Brendon’s mom? Isn’t she like, 50?”
“I don’t know...” Julian mumbled.
“Julian, you can’t be serious. Right?” Julian said nothing, thus making a silent confirmation that he was being serious. “Oh...” I frowned, suddenly feeling an ache in my chest. “Well...I’m happy for you then.”
...I guess.
As if it couldn’t get any worse, Julian would go on and on about this Mrs. Fletcher every day. Which was annoying since I was with him almost every day. It took a lot for me to not yell at him to shut up, but wouldn’t do that to him...I hope.
It hurt a lot, knowing that Julian was into another girl...well, woman. All the times he talked about her, I wished it was about me instead.
It made me feel selfish for feeling that way. Mrs. Fletcher was probably a nice woman, compared to her son at least. But I keep thinking of ways to murd- “Y/N?”
I was snapped out of my thoughts by Julian. “Sorry, what?” I asked.
“You weren’t here.” He said, looking concerned.
I smiled weakly. “I’m here. I’m here.”
Julian didn’t look convinced, but shook his head. “Well, as I was saying, Eve isn’t 50. She’s 45. But she looks like she’s in her goddamn 20â€Čs.”
“She’s probably made of plastic...” I mumbled out accidently.
“Hey!” Julian shouted, laughing off his slight offense.
“Sorry. It’s just...we’re supposed to be studying.” I sigh.
Julian held up his hands up in fake surrender. “You’re right. You’re right.” He looked back to his notes. “But one more thing-”
“Oh my god, Julian! I don’t wanna hear about Mrs. Fletcher and her perfect personality, perfect body, and her perfect everything! I’m fucking sick of hearing you go on and on about how much you like her and how you feel a connection!”
Julian looked at me with a shocked and hurt expression, making me sigh and rub my hands over my face. “Why?” He asked quietly.
“I...” I stuttered, sighing and standing up from the bed to gather up all my textbooks, quickly leaving his room before he even got a chance to ask why I was leaving.
I heard Julian run after me, but I made it to the door, promptly tripping over my own feet before I even made it to my car. My textbooks flew everywhere as I rolled over on my back with a groan, mostly hurt from embarrassment.
“Y/N! Are you okay?” Julian quickly ran and kneeled beside me. “Please, tell me you’re okay.”
I sighed. “Yeah...yeah, I’m okay.” I sat up to meet Julian’s concerned puppy dog eyes.
“Why did you just leave like that, huh? What’s the matter with you?”
I closed my eyes, not wanting to pour out all my hidden feelings for this pretty boy. But I knew he wasn’t going to let me ignore him. “I like you, okay?” I said suddenly. “I hate listening to you talk about Eve cause I’m jealous. I want you to feel that way about me, not some woman who’s more than twice your age.
Julian stayed silent, making me sigh. “I do want you to be happy, Jules. And if that’s with Eve then...I just have to learn to accept it.” I paused. “I should go.” I whispered, lifting myself off the concrete.
Julian stayed crouched to the ground as I gathered my fallen textbooks and opened my car door to toss them in the backseat. “Y/N, wait.” I heard Julian say from behind me.
I reluctantly turned around to face him. “What is it, Jul-”
I was cut off by Julian placing his lips onto mine. My eyes widened, shocked about what was taking place. Julian pulled away, too fast.
“I’ve like you for such a long time, Y/N. Ever since you saved me from Brendon three years ago. I was into Eve because...well, I didn’t think you felt that way about me.”
My mouth hung open in shock, not knowing what to say. “I had no idea you felt that way about me either...obviously.” I chuckled nervously.
Julian smiled, tenderly rubbing my cheek with his thumb. He leaned in again, but I pulled back. “What about Eve?” I asked.
“I don’t care about her anymore. You’ve always been my number one.”
I smiled and blushed. We both leaned in at the same time, our lips colliding in a passionate kiss that was now filled with understanding and longing.
It took a lot of willpower to pull away from Julian, wanting to stay like this forever. “So, do you wanna be my boyfriend?” I asked timidly.
“Absolutely...girlfriend.”
