×I wake up with a yawn and stand before realizing how quiet it is. I walk out of my bedroom and check the house for Darcy, only to not find the rowdy toddler.×

"N!" ×I call from the living room.×

×With a shout and a thud, N falls from the ceiling where he was recharging and quickly enters the living room, where I'm tossing aside cushions and blankets.×

She left behind paw-padded footprints, shivering as she gripped onto her black cat plushie and her eyes scanned around for shelter from the biting cold.
