I Dont Like Horrors. Hell, I Dont Even Like Most Of The Scary Films.
I don’t like horrors. Hell, I don’t even like most of the scary films.
But I did watch Crimson Peak today.
And I loved it.
But why, why did I have to watch it just before going to bed? Now I can’t stop thinking about those ghosts!😂😂😂
Btw, I really liked the idea of having ghosts in different colors. Like red for those who were murdered. I think that White for Thomas was because he finally let go. But what does black mean? I read somewhere that it simply means attachment, which actually makes sense since Lucille wasn’t able to let go of the past, her brother and home, while Edith’s mother wanted to protect her.
And Jessica Chastain as Lucille was really good in my opinion. She gave me creeps almost just as much as the ghosts did.
Not even speaking about Tom. He’s always great.
I think this is the first film I saw with Mia after Alice in Wonderland. And to be honest, both characters are somewhat alike. Edith being simply Alice in a ghost story. Maybe it’s just my opinion, I’m not sure. But still, I did like her character.

I’m reblogging this bc it’s soooo funny.
the gimmick blogs are like tumblr’s rogue gallery. yes we’ve got some heroes, yes we’ve got some villains, but more importantly if you look over here you will see some freak who devotes all their time to counting the number of “t’s” in a post
So true. I remember I once thought about it and then remembered Agents of SHIELD, and there is a talk about Coulson feeling different after his “near” death experience.
And somehow this dialogue always reminds me ablut Dante and his sacrifice. I mean, even if he didn’t have ptsd, there is no way he remained the same after that. This definitely changed him.
I wish there was 3rd season because it could be a good opportunity to show how our precious detective deals with his death and revival.
i just realised
we never really explored how traumatic it would be for dante to pull this whole comet thing??? like??? you know you are supposed to die and the only thing possibly saving you is an amulet that may or may not work??? which like, you die anyway, you can just be brought back to life? WE'VE SEEN HIS ASHES THIS MAN LITERALLY BURNT TO DEATH. IN SPACE. COLLIDING WITH A FUCKING COMET. if that doesn't give you ptsd i dont know what does
😍😍😍
GARAZEB “ZEB” ORRELIOS The Mandalorian Chapter 21: The Pirate
Ok.
So I thought a lot about what you guys said in the comments.
I understand that many people just see something in their relationships that I do not. Or just interpret it in your own way.
I think that my problem was I felt like many people simply forgot about their original relationships, I for example from the books. And ships made by fans pushed the original ones aside. Of course I know it’s not the truth. (And sometimes they are better that the original ones). I’m fond of many original relationships, in books, films or tv shows, and changes just… sometimes feel weird to me.
I’m still curious what make you ship different characters, so if you want to, you can still write in the comments. Of course in a polite way, I’m going to respect your choice.
Ok
I have another question
Why people from every purely platonic like brotherly/siblings/ sisterly/best friends relationship tries to make romantic relationship?
I mean
Why can’t Frodo and Sam be just best buddies/brothers
Same about Bilbo and Thorin?
(I mean in general but those two relationships I see quite often)
Oh there is also Johnlock.
( somehow it’s almost always relationship between two man, why?)
It’s not like I’m against everyone who ships them but like… every single fanart/fanfic/etc I see about those guys is them being in love with each other. And I need more of them being having just platonic relationship. L
Can someone explain this to me? Because right now I don’t understand people. What’s wrong with just being friends or treating each other as siblings?
Please don’t hate me because of this post. Those are simply my thoughts that I kinda want answers for.
I’m not sure why… but I can’t imagine Aragorn swearing.
Like, Gimli? Yes. Legolas? Also yes. Gandalf and like half of the Hobbits? Yup. Maybe Boromir too.
But not Aragorn.
Gimli: As my good friend Aragorn once said… Gimli: Get fucked. Aragorn: I have never once said that, Gimli.
