half my playlist is songs from artists i heard during a music swap with friends.

i take photographs of sunrises at bus stations because they remind me of the poetry of a coworker i haven't seen in years.

there are shows i started watching with friends i haven't seen since high school. i'm still watching them to this day.

the first time i flew on a plane, my friend sat next to me and told me about his stories and his characters and showed me his drawings to keep me from getting anxious.

it's all about sharing the love! because there's something vulnerable about showing something your passionate about, and because you want me to feel the same love you felt. yes!! tell me about your favourite things! (insert obligatory 'splitting an orange' reference)

i just saw a youtube video that said "my love language is people showing me their favorite songs" and i FELT THAT

cries. i love hearing peoples favorite song it makes me feel like! awww yay wait that's awesome that you care enough to show me something you love and care about- thank you so much-

its a similar thing with literally anything else. telling me about your favorite color and why it means so much to you? rambling about your ocs or favorite characters and the thoughts you've put into them? talking about storylines and ideas and silly little objects you find and think are cool?

it means *so* much to me. i don't think people realize how much i love that. yes! keep telling me about the things you love! i love that you care and trust me enough to talk to me about it :)
