That's my twin.

the lack of forethought in the way rhaenyra snuck into kings landing with one old guy for back up is so perfect. she bet her whole life on a prayer and alicent still having the hots for her. i could try and argue its bad writing but actually no this is so in character its insane. rhaenyras an impulsive dumbass through and through. my girl has never thought a single thing through and i appreciate that abt her.

not to nerd out or whatever but as an interesting set design note for the newest hotd episode, im pretty sure some of the wall art in the brothel scene is inspired by/recreations of some surviving pompeii brothel friezes! this image in particular:

right is a still from hotd; left is a frieze from pompeii dated to the 1st century AD depicting polyphemus and galatea

could just be a coincidence but the colouring, hand placement, hairstyle and draping fabric all seem to suggest the set designers of hotd were inspired by the frieze!
