In the Starcourt Mall, Dr. Brenner is running the Papa Gino's as a front operation but in the back with the pizza stones and manager's office he's got surveillance equipment.
He hired a Demogorgon as a delivery driver and he's not very good at it, those pizzas never arrive 30 minutes or less. He also tends to eat the customers and drag them to the Upside Down.

I'm worried that I'm setting expectations too high for Brenner's return, which will be a 15 second flashback cameo and then I'll be sitting through 8 boring episodes of Eleven and Mike's puppy love feelings, defying Hopper's wishes, sneaking behind his back and Hopper getting pissed off and punching Ted Wheeler or something.
So there is so much theories online, and there so much discussion about ST3 on this sub, that I start thinking that by the time ST3 comes out, the expectations are going to be so high, it might disappoint. Does anybody has the similar sentiment? via /r/StrangerThings
I still think if any character gets a spinoff movie or limited series, it's going to be Dr. Brenner. Not just because I like him but because occasionally on Twitter Matthew Modine will talk about how Brenner is a misunderstood character, that there's more to him, ect. but he'll dodge questions relating to him actually appearing in S3. Levy and the Duffers also seem to bring him up a lot but don't hint at a direct comeback in the series.
Now that we've got a book coming that is basically Brenner's origin story in relation to the lab and Eleven's mom so the next step is probably that there's a spinoff of some sort in the early stages of development and we'll probably hear about it during season 3.

I appreciate the way Matthew Modine looks in a tux. I mean, damn.
Can there be a scene of Papa at a fancy party where he has to wear a tux?
What if it turns out Eleven ISN'T Terry Ives' missing daughter and the birth she witnessed in the flashback was the birth of someone else. The girl in the rainbow room flashback doesn't resemble El at all. Terry may be creating false memories for Eleven to trap her or to compensate for her own loss.
Screw this stupid fandom and their hatred for the punk gang. Kali needs to come back and kick some ass.
Also Eleven being used as a prop for male characters and their fragile egos in the show is getting pretty gross. I can't wait for her to grow up, get angry and angsty and increasing jaded at the world and abandon both Mike and Hopper when she finds out they're both small town trash. She's stronger in ways that neither of them will ever be.
Kali Prasad deserves better than the shitstain white men who control her narrative destiny and the shitstain racist fandom slandering her
