He immediately sat straight up, feeling alarmed. Throwing the heating blanket off him, he rushed to the bathroom still feeling sleepy. He became awake when he didn’t find her there

“Are you okay?” He asked, picking up the pot, putting it on the kitchen counter and immediately going to her and held her hand

“Yeah, i just felt hungry so…” she let out, looking down and watching their held hands

He simply smiled and plated kisses all over her hands “You should’ve woken me up, baby. I’d cook for you, you know that”

“I know, but you looked too peaceful while sleeping and I know your comeback is nearing so you’re probably so so tired, and you and your members have been so stressed and-“

“You shouldn’t worry about that. No matter how tired or stressed I am, seeing you, spending time with you, and seeing how happy and content you are is enough for me to feel better. Now, what does this hungry girl want?” He asked while lifting her and sitting her on the kitchen counter

The rest of dawn was filled with flirting, laughter, and eating. Dohoon couldn’t ask for a better (almost) morning than this

DOHOON just got back from practice, looking at the wall clock in the shared apartment with his girlfriend, it read ‘2:27 AM’

He sighed tiredly, feeling the fatigue from practice kicking in. He kicked his shoes and tossed his bag onto the couch

He entered their shared bedroom to see her still awake, laughing her heart out to a Tiktok video she saw

“Hi, baby!” She greeted enthusiastically, jumping out of bed and hugging him tightly. Dohoon could feel the tiredness leaving his body as he relishes in his girlfriend’s hug “Hey” he whispered out, burying his face on her shoulder

“Have you eaten already?” Dohoon shook his head, still hugging her “There’s some leftovers in the kitchen, come on, let’s reheat it” she then let go of the hug and made her way to the kitchen

Dohoon frowned and followed her to the kitchen before hugging her from the back “You’re clingy today” she commented

“I haven’t seen you for the whole day, can you blame me?” His words muffled as he kept his face buried on her shoulder blades

“It’s done, sit down and I’ll set it to you” and with reluctancy, he sat down and waited for her

She watched him eat with a smile on her lips. He looked cute, gobbling down the food like there’s no tomorrow. As Dohoon came to the last bite, he offered it to her who took it

Dohoon then washed the dishes and dragged her to the bedroom, lying down immediately

“You just ate, you’re gonna have an upset stomach” she lightly scolded, sitting up “You’ll take care of me anyway” Dohoon then pulled her down and hugged her

All she could do was laugh which made Dohoon smile

You don’t know him. I don’t know him. We support and fall in love with whatever side of an idol that they put on screen. No matter how much content you watch from an idol, it can never be equivalent to knowing them. It’s very easy to fake things or only show the pleasant side of yourself to fans. It has happened countless times. Can we please accept this fact?

Yes, this news is shocking. It’s always a hard pill to swallow finding out that an idol you supported turned out to be a vile criminal. But can we please stop believing that our idols are perfect angels who can do no wrong? They are human. And many of them are men. There needs to be a wall separating delusion from reality.

Junghwan had been thinking of it for weeks now. Whenever he tried to get his mind off of it, it only backfired. “It” was, of course, your lips. Junghwan swore you were doing it on purpose, putting on the prettiest lip glosses and lip tints just to tempt him. They only made your lips seem all the more inviting.

But the problem was, you had only been dating for a few weeks. Sure, you had been friends for years and were more comfortable with each other than anyone else, but you both wanted to take it slow. Junghwan would hate to rush something as important as your first kiss.

He’d never kissed anyone before, and the thought of it made him hot in the face. He was sure he was crazy for thinking about it so much. Why was he so down bad for you?

You were already like an addiction to him. Just seeing you made his day a million times better— he just knew that the second he tasted your lips, there would be no going back. Despite your attempts to silently let him know that you were okay with it; leaning in when the timing felt right, picking romance movies with obvious kiss scenes, even bringing it up in conversation at times. Nothing seemed to be working, though, and you were starting to think that maybe he didn’t want to kiss you at all.

“No. You’re perfect, why would you think that?” Junghwan’s answer came so quick and sure, like he didn’t even have to think about it. If he was so convinced about it, then why hadn’t he made a move yet?

“We’ve been dating for almost 2 months now…” Junghwan looked at you expectantly, waiting for you to continue. You took a breath, “We still haven’t kissed yet. Is there something… unattractive about me? Do you not want to? Was I the only one constantly thinking about it?”

Your boyfriend blinked, stunned by your question. Of all the things he expected you to bring up, it definitely wasn’t this. He had never even considered that what he thought of as taking the ‘safe option’ in order to assure he didn’t make you uncomfortable, was causing doubts in your mind about his affection for you. No wonder he felt like he was messing up so badly.

“No, oh my gosh, no! Y/n, I swear, I’ve thought about it too. Every day— I want to kiss you, I swear! I really, really—” His panicked rambling was cut off by you, by your lips.

You just couldn’t take it anymore. He was so fucking cute. You could instantly forgive him for all the weeks of doubting and overthinking he had put you through, finding him incredibly endearing as he tried to fix the mess he had made. You couldn’t help but focus on his lips as the words started to spill out. Those same lips that you had been so fixated on for weeks, longing to taste for so long. 

It was like he was purposefully testing you every time he licked them or subconsciously nibbled on them. They always looked so incredibly soft and plush. Now that you were finally feeling them under yours, you could only describe the feeling as euphoric. It was everything you could’ve hoped for— even better than you could’ve imagined, in fact.

He gasped in surprise when you cut his words off, but his eyes were quick to flutter shut at the feeling of your lips. Junghwan had been originally worried that the kiss might be awkward, that his rhythm would be wrong, or that he would go too fast or too slow. But you found him perfect. 

He was slow. He was gentle and soft and caring, kissing you as if any slight amount of pressure too much would break you. And you loved it. It felt safe. Junghwan always made you feel that way, like nothing about him could ever scare you. He would always go exactly at your pace, making sure you were comfortable no matter what. He never overstepped, never expected anything overwhelming from you. Even as he kissed you, his lips portrayed the same feeling. The kiss was tentative just like his nature, but you could feel the eagerness and longing that he held at the same time. 

When you pulled apart, he was breathless. It felt like the kiss had consumed him entirely and left his mind spinning endlessly. He could barely think of what to do next, but he knew that he wanted to feel your lips on his again, so he decided to be bold, pulling you back into his arms despite his breathless state.

HANJIN has never been more enthusiastic than he ever did before. He just found out that Xinxiang, Henan, his hometown, is one of the stops for the group’s world tour. His excitement reached through the roof causing him to video call his family

“Mā! I’m gonna be able to visit you guys!” He conversed with his mom in Chinese. His two younger brothers that were also in the frame of his mom’s camera, looked at each other and cheered in their mother’s ears before running off somewhere to celebrate “Are you really going to?”

He took notice of how his mom looks like she’s about to cry, and that made him well up tears, too “Don’t cry mā, and yes, I’m gonna come home” and with that, his mom bursted out crying and so did he

“Mā, stop crying” he whined out, getting up to get tissues, “I’m sorry, bǎo bǎo. Māmā is just so happy I can finally see you after three years”

Hanjin smiled at this and wiped his tears with the tissue he got “We’re stopping at Beijing before going there,” he sniffed “Do you want anything from there, mā?” His mom shook her head “All I need is for you to come home safe to me”

The moment he stepped foot out of the bus, he was immediately met by two young males tackling his waist to a hug

“Gēge! You’re finally back!” the two male said at the same time as if it was practiced “Yeah, gēge’s back” Hanjin said, a wide grin plastered on his face as he ruffles their hair

“Hanjin, we’ll get going to the hotel, call us if you decided where you’d sleep” Dohoon said causing Hanjin to nod, he waved goodbye to the bus as it drove off

“Where’s mā?” Hanjin said, walking with his two brothers who insisted on carrying his bags “At home, preparing your food. She’s making mala xiang guo” “Then what are we waiting for? The last one home will be the one to wash the dishes” Hanjin raced his brothers, a big grin still on his face “No fair, gēge! We’re carrying your bags!” “You wanted to, it’s not my fault”

Oh how Han Zhen missed this so much; the leisure, and stress-free life. The things he’d do to experience that again everyday, but don’t get him wrong, he doesn’t regret being an idol. He just misses the feeling of running around with friends without a care in the world

He reached his home and looked back at his brothers to see them struggling, and with effort, the youngest one reached the house second which meant the middle kid reached last “No fair,” he heaved heavily upon reaching the house “I have gēge’s biggest bag” Hanjin ruffled his hair while laughing “A rule’s a rule” and went inside with his brother grumbling

He stood up and neared her, holding her wrist gently and bringing her out before closing the door. He dragged her to the two seats and sat both of them down

“How are you?” He started, trying to make a small conversation instead of hitting her with the question he always wanted to ask “I’m doing good, thanks. And I can see you’re doing well, too” she responded, words rushed as if not wanting to talk. He scoffed at this, finding it funny

“Since you don’t want to have a small talk, let me just ask directly then,” he looked at her in the eye, a small frown displayed on his face “Why did you do that?” Silence filled both of them for a few seconds before he asked again “Why did you push me away?” Still nothing “Why did you not trust me?”

She then cried, loudly, sobbing into her hands “I’m so sorry, Zhen. I’m sorry” she kept chanting the word ‘sorry’ over and over again. He sighed and sat next to her before hugging her by her side and letting her sob on his shoulder. He pats her back as she kept crying

He wanted to cry, yet he couldn’t bring to do so as the girl he once loved oh so greatly, deeply, and like no other is crying on him, for him

“I didn’t want to ruin your dreams” she finally spoke, rising up from his shoulder but still sniffing and tearing “We both know how that industry works. I couldn’t risk you losing your dreams just because of a stupid relationship” “You think our relationship was stupid?”

He felt hurt, he could feel his heart breaking like how it did when she told him to end what they had

“No, hell, our relationship was something no one can have. It was that special, Zhen. It’s just, if we did continue our relationship, would you be where you are right now? And there’s no doubt that you would get caught on the first week in the industry as you know how clingy you are”

He saw her smile and one also formed on his lips without him knowing

“Do you get my point, Zhen? I’d rather lose you because you have a dream than have you without your dream”

He stayed silent

“You’ve always told me how you wanted to be a part of that industry, look at you, you’re already going on world tours. I don’t know if I still have any right to say this but, I’m so proud, Zhen”

Oh, the words he never heard yet, the words that he always wanted to hear, came from the girl who once broke his heart

It was his turn to cry this time, he sobbed into his hands and felt the girl cradle him in her arms. Her soft hands caressed his back and head, and he swears he could feel her soft lips touching the crown of his head from time to time

It was just like before, it was always like this whenever he wouldn’t pass an audition. He’d always run to her

She’s his solace, his home

He started just sniffing, still cradled in her arms, her hands still caressing him and he felt like he’s being lulled to sleep

“I’m really sorry, Zhen. I know how bad I’ve hurt you, trust me, it killed me too. I’ve always wanted to end it all for hurting you so much, but your mom always made sure I was okay”

He sat straight up and looked at her puffy eyes with his own puffy eyes and held her hand

“Would it be bad if I ask you if we can start once more?” He bit his bottom lip “Because trust me, those three years felt like hell when I had no one to call about my small achievements, my group’s wins, my adventures. The only person I could do that with, is you. [y/n], you’re the only girl I have ever felt immense comfort and peace with. My heart always feels like it’s gonna explode whenever I see you”

He touched his forehead with hers as they both teared up, holding her face in his hands as his thumbs caressed her cheeks

KYUNGMIN looked at the time inside the practice room and had noticed that it was already 11 PM. He sighed frustratingly and hurried to pack his things. He’s the only one left in the said room so he’s the one who turned off everything and closed up. Rushing to the elevator, he held his bag tightly in order for it to not fall out of his grasp

“Wait! Please hold the door!” He shouted out to the person inside the elevator but it was too late, thus, he made a detour and ran to the stairs that was on the other side of the building. He saw the flight of stairs while catching his breath from running and sighed deeply before running down

“Shit!” He cursed out loud after almost falling down before continuing his run for the HYBE Building main door

As he was about to run home to his apartment, he heard someone call his name “Kyungmin!!” He turned around and saw his senior, Seungkwan

“Ah, senior!” He greeted enthusiastically albeit heaving deeply “Why are you out of breath?” The older asked, “Ah, well, I need to rush home so…” Still catching his breath, he smiled to his senior “Let me give you a ride” Seungkwan offered “Is it okay?” Seungkwan nodded and Kyungmin followed him to his car

The car ride was full of laughs and conversation, and when Seungkwan found the right time to ask, he did, “Why were you running home?” He asked, swerving with one hand “Ah, well… my girlfriend” Kyungmin whispered out, feeling bashful as he massaged his ear. Seungkwan didn’t quite catch it though, much to Kyungmin’s dismay

“What was that?” Seungkwan asked again “Well, my girlfriend is waiting and we talked about coming home late when we don’t really have a packed schedule” The blonde admitted with a timid voice and Seungkwan laughed “You’re so cute, don’t take my laugh the wrong way. You just remind me of myself because my girlfriend is also like that” Seungkwan said with a laugh making Kyungmin do so as well

They reached Kyungmin’s apartment and the aforementioned bowed 90 degrees while thanking Seungkwan “Make sure to be extra loving to your girlfriend” Seungkwan teased before leaving, Kyungmin blushed and went up to their unit

Kyungmin unlocked the door and saw his girlfriend sitting on the living room watching TV… and she looked pissed. He gulped before setting down his bag and sitting next to her “‘m sorry” he said immediately but received no response

“Baby?” Nothing

“Love?” Nothing

“Pretty?” Nothing

“Sweetie?” Nothing

“Honey?” Still nothing

He had tried every corny call signs he could think of but he still received no response. She had stood up and walked to the kitchen and he followed; like a baby duck following the mother duck all while holding the hem of her shirt

She placed take outs on the table, slightly slamming it “Eat before sleeping” and left to go to their shared bedroom. Frowning, Kyungmin followed her inside and saw her tucking herself “Love…” he whined out, snuggling next to her and spooning her; he kept placing kisses on her cheeks, trying to be extra loving like how Seungkwan said

“I’m sorry, baby. I didn’t notice the time and I forgot to call you. I was so focused on practicing because I wanted to perfect our new choreography for our Comeback Show at Inkigayo. I know I should’ve called your first and I know I made you worried, I saw your 53 missed calls,” he said with a small smile

“I’m really sorry, baby. I promise I won’t ever do it again” he kissed her cheek one last time and heard her sniff “You crying?” “It’s just… I thought something happened to you” she said, wiping her tears before facing and hugging him, her face buried deep into his chest “Please call me first next time, I was so worried” he kissed the top of her head before caressing it and she continued to cry “I know, I’m sorry, it won’t happen again”

the moment he entered, you felt your heart light up. minghao is finally back in you and your brother's abode. only the heavens know how much you missed that angelic face of his. you smiled at him as soon as he entered and he did the same. your brother was oblivious to the exchange and went straight to the kitchen, “i'll cook us food. what would you two like?” and when minghao was about to answer vernon, you protested, “i'll cook... please?” vernon, however, raised a brow at you.

“you have never cooked in your life.” this made you turn away from him as he still looked at you questionably, “yeah, but, you know, i saw this cooking asmr on youtube and i wanted to give it a try.” “do you want to poison minghao? or maybe me?” you looked at vernon, offended by what he said and before you could go and attack him without a word, minghao spoke up, “it's fine with me. i'd love to taste your cooking.” he said and pet your head- even sneaking a wink at you.

“well, if it's fine with you, bro.” you frowned at vernon and cursed with your eyes. “i'm gonna burn it on purpose and give it to you.” and minghao laughed at your statement.

you were left there blushing while vernon and minghao went up to the former's bedroom.

currently, you are in the kitchen, trying your best to follow the cooking asmr (it has ingredients and measurements) and struggling is an understatement. the amount of flour on the kitchen countertop just to make youtiao, for what? to impress minghao.

you were about to give up and just order out when you heard someone come down. you looked back and saw minghao smiling softly at you.

after making sure your brother is still in his room, you immediately ran to minghao's arms, hugging him tightly while his left arm rests at your back and his right arms caressing your head.

“i missed you so much, haohao.” you said with a pout and he kissed the top of your head, “i missed you too, love.” that made you smile and melt. you looked up at him with puckered lips and he giggled before leaning down to give you a quick smooch.

“what were you making, pretty?” he asked as he started to put away baby hairs from your face. you looked back at the kitchen then back at him, “well, i tried to make youtiao for you but...” and with a laugh, minghao wiped your face, “no wonder why you have flour on your face.” you smiled at his laugh; oh how much you missed that.

“but baby, i don't think your brother would like youtiao.” you rolled your eyes and went back to make youtiao, “i don't care. i'm making this for you, not him.” you heard minghao laughing behind you as you start making the chinese snack again.

you thought he went upstairs to vernon's room again because of the silence until you felt a pair of arms slowly wrap around your waist and feel a head bury itself on your shoulder. you couldn't help but smile at his gesture.

when you felt his head lift and his chin on your shoulder blades, your hands suddenly moved on its own, wiping flour on minghao's face.

the look on both of your faces when the two of you were processing what just happened was like looking into a mirror; eyes wide. you were frozen there until you felt a finger wiping flour on your face as well.

and the battle commenced, the other trying to wipe more flour on the other's face. the kitchen had never been filled with laughter like the two of you are doing now. it was really lively, full of smiles, laughter, and flour.

the kitchen is so messy but who cares, right? well, vernon, apparently, “what the fuck is going on?” the two of you froze on the spot and comically looked at vernon who's face looked terrified.

“i'm gonna question later why the two of you are so close with each other but why is the kitchen in a hot mess?” he asked, ignoring the fact that the two of you are hugging at the moment. you two pulled away from each other faster than lightning.

“sorry, nonnie. i'll clean it up later.” you said timidly, “i'll help, vernon.” vernon nodded, “we'll talk after you guys finish cleaning. i was wondering why minghao was taking so long at the bathroom.” vernon walked away, mumbling the last sentence. the two of you looked at each other and laughed before you started cleaning.

let's just say that vernon was shocked to find out the two of you were dating and started to list to minghao the things you like and don't like. minghao was internally taking notes while you try your best to stop vernon from talking too much and accidentally say something.
